Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 380: West - North - East

Arabel paused, waiting for him to say more.

"What if the man I've always considered my father isn't really my own father?"—Idan nevertheless decided to voice this thought in order to hear Arabel's opinion on this matter.

Arabel whirled on him, her eyes wide with surprise.

"Are you serious?" she asked.

Idan shrugged, "Well, I'm not ruling out that possibility."

He began to doubt it when he remembered how his parents treated him. Although he couldn't say that they were bad with him, he always had the feeling that he didn't fit in with his family. The way his father paid more attention to his older sister than to him only reinforced these doubts.

Idan knew that he was probably just exaggerating some things now, but he decided that he shouldn't rule out the possibility. The man he had known all his adult life might not have been his own father.

"But if that's the case, then the question arises: why would the system force me to look for someone who wasn't involved in my upbringing, ask me to introduce you and also receive his blessings?" Idan said with some doubt in his voice.

This question from Idan made Arabel think.

"And really, why?" she asked herself.

Then her thoughts turned to her own parents.

Yes, she knew exactly who her mother and father were. Although they did not actively participate in their upbringing, Arabel and Arslan saw them from time to time.

"I thought I'd have trouble with this task, but it looks like we're both going to have some difficulties," Arabel whispered.

"Hehe, that's for sure, — Idan agreed, smiling slightly.

"Okay, let's leave it until we get back to the capital," Idan suggested.

To deal with this, Idan first needed to meet with his mother and have a face-to-face conversation. As for Arabel, currently, the Morgan family's main residence was still located in the Federation capital.

Arabel nodded.

She could already see that Ned had gone deep enough into the valley that they would have to split up soon.

After flying for some more time, Ned stopped and hovered high in the dark sky.

Arabel and Idan, sitting on Ned's back, stood up and looked at each other.

"Take Coco with you," Idan suggested, taking a fluffy fox off his shoulder and handing it to Arabel. "I'm afraid if she comes with me, I'll set her fur on fire again. She'll be safer with you."

Arabel, laughing at Idan's words, happily accepted Coco and sat her on her shoulder.

The fox hissed in displeasure, but then calmed down and settled comfortably on Arabel's shoulder.

"Treat her to something delicious later," Idan asked, and Coco immediately transformed. Her displeased face lit up, and she began to look coquettishly at Arabel, waiting for a treat.

Idan pulled Arabel to him, kissed her gently, and, burying his forehead, whispered, "Be careful."

"You too," Arabel nodded and whispered back, too.

"And you, Ned, be careful, — Idan said, pulling away from Arabel and looking down.

Ned growled in response.

After taking another look at Arabel, Idan jumped down, turning into an Alpha of Fire and spreading his small fiery wings to use his flying skill. He headed west.

Arabel stood for a moment, watching Idan walk away.

"Be careful, Ned," she said, also telling him to be careful. After Idan disappeared from sight, Arabel jumped off Ned's back and, turning into an Ice Valkyrie, spread all four wings. She flew east with Coco.

Ned growled at Arabel's words as soon as she jumped off. He raced north at full speed, taking on the form of another, smaller bird— the fastest in his collection.

Idan, heading west, was concerned about the Queen's presence and how Ned had demonstrated their ability to disappear in front of her.

"I'm afraid that Erza and the other creatures, after learning about our ability, will start taking action against us," he mused. "Although Arabel and I have already discussed this, I still feel uneasy."

Remembering that Arabel was paired with Coco, he calmed down a little. Due to her amazing ability, Coco could detect the presence of other creatures and potential threats in advance. Now that she was with Arabel, she could warn her of the possible dangers that lay ahead.

As for Ned, Idan was well aware that his partner was a true master of reincarnation and disguise. What is his image of Sierra worth!

Idan wasn't worried about him, even though the direction he was heading was the most dangerous of the three.

"As a last resort, I can just summon Ned back to my Star," Idan muttered.

Of the three, Idan was the most prominent. In this dark sky, his fiery wings were too conspicuous.

Idan knew that he was taking a risk by doing such an act, but he did not want to ignore one of the two portals, so he decided to take the risk.

"Instead of worrying about others, I should focus on myself," Idan admitted, realizing that of all three of them, he has the least trump cards and abilities.

"But I have a System and a lot of System points," he thought, opening the trading window in search of something useful.

"Wings of flight, potions of flight, talisman of concealment..." one by one, he sorted through the available goods, but none of them met his requirements.

All of these things related to flight were significantly inferior to his fiery wings.

And the means of concealment required that he not move.

As far as Idan knew, until creatures reached a rank above Diamond, they could only fly with the help of external objects or due to their racial uniqueness, like Alphas and Valkyries.

Only after reaching a rank higher than Diamond do all creatures gain the ability to fly, even without using wings.

"System, please tell me something that could replace my wings or hide them," Idan asked.

But to his surprise, the System did not respond.

"System?" he called, but got no response.

Previously, he would have been worried if he had decided that the System was unavailable. But looking at the open window of the trading function, Idan knew that the System was still listening to his words.

"Is the System acting up again?" thought Idan, remembering that their System had always been wayward and could not respond if it did not want to. And it seemed like the System wasn't really willing to help him right now, leaving him to solve this problem on his own.
