Chapter 324: Come what may
"It hasn't even been half a day, and you've already returned?" Sierra said, pleasantly surprised, as she met Idan and Arabel with baby Izzy in her arms.
"Well, something happened, Sister," Arabel quickly approached Sierra to look at Izzy.
"Where are the others?" asked Idan, looking around, but apart from Sierra, there was no one in sight. Even Lucinda and the pregnant hero were nowhere to be seen.
"Both pointy—eared followed Geminia, and the blonde one is in one of the rooms looking after the pregnant woman," Sierra briefly shared.
"Has she calmed down?" asked Idan.
"What do you think?" asked Sierra, and when Idan and Arabel saw her smile, they immediately realized that they shouldn't have asked this question.
"So what happened this time?" asked Sierra, staring intently at Arabel, noticing the change in her behavior.
"I can't hide anything from you, Sister, — Arabel complained with a smile. "But let's wait for the others. I don't want to repeat myself and waste time, we're already in a hurry."
"Hmm. Good, — Sierra agreed, still lost in thought about the changes that were happening to Arabel. Something was pulling her attention to Arabel, but she couldn't say what. "Geminia has probably already noticed your arrival, so they'll be back soon."
As Sierra predicted, Milica and Eulalia did not take long to arrive at the entrance to the Temple.
"Master! Eulalia!" exclaimed Arabel, noticing the appearance of Milica and Eulalia. To her surprise, she also found a second Milica who was following them.
"Is that what I think it is?" — Arabel asked, and seeing Milica's nod and smile, she decided to congratulate her. "Congratulations, Master, on signing your first contract!"
"Thank you, Arabel, and welcome back, — Milica said, not forgetting to greet her.
"Master, congratulations!" came the voice of Idan, who also came forward to congratulate Milica.
"Thank you, Idan, and welcome back to you too," Milica replied, accepting the congratulations.
"Where's Geminia?" Idan asked, not finding her among the others.
"What about it? Do you need me for something?" Geminia suddenly appeared, making Idan almost jump in surprise.
"Don't do that anymore, Geminia!"
The others, noticing this, only smiled, watching as Idan was startled by Geminia's sudden appearance.
"Arabel, you're beaming with joy! Did something happen?" Eulalia asked, noticing Arabel's change of mood.
A lot had happened in the last day, and Arabel had a lot to be happy about. She adopted Rizzy as an adopted daughter, saved and met her younger brother, took control of her bloodline, and spent some time with Idan.
"Is it really that noticeable?" asked Arabel in surprise.
"What? Has your relationship with Idan moved to a new level? Did you do it?" — having misunderstood her, Eulalia immediately asked this question.
"What? No! Of course not!" Arabel quickly began to deny, embarrassed.
"Then what happened that made you so happy?" — Eulalia couldn't understand.
"Well...I've finally been able to master my bloodline," Arabel announced, to the surprise of those around her.
"So fast?" exclaimed Milica, addressing her disciple. Arabel nodded back. After seeing the confirmation, Milica couldn't help but ask: "Then did you manage to take on the Spirit Form?"
"No..." came the quiet reply, and an atmosphere of sadness filled the room. Idan and Arabel noticed some disappointment in the stares of their comrades, but it quickly dissipated.
"Don't worry, Arabel. Everything is still ahead, and I am sure that you will be able to achieve this goal," Milica said with confidence.
"Yes, little sister. Pointy-eared is right. Even though Idan has achieved great success, I believe that you will catch up with him soon," Sierra added, giving Arabel confidence.
"It's true that I haven't taken the Spirit Form yet," Arabel hastened to explain, realizing that her words had been misunderstood. "I know I've mastered my Ice Valkyrie bloodline, but I haven't tried to transform into an Ice Valkyrie yet."
After hearing her words, everyone, including Geminia, fell into silence.
"So you're saying that you haven't tried to take on a Spirit Form yet?" Sierra asked after a short silence to clarify.
"Yes," Arabel confirmed, nodding. - "I have only recently achieved success, and at that moment I did not have time to try. Then Idan said he wanted to return to Limbo, and remembering about you, I decided to postpone the attempt and try here."
"Then what are we waiting for?" asked Sierra, and soon the whole group found themselves in an open clearing not far from the temple. Surprisingly, Lucinda and even the Hero somehow found out about this and joined them.
"You can do it, Arabel!" exclaimed Eulalia, supporting her with Idan behind Milica, Sierra, and Geminia.
"What is she going to do?" Lucinda asked, but no one felt it necessary to explain to her.
"Just watch carefully," Sierra said. "If you're lucky, you'll get a valuable clue."
Hearing such an answer, Lucinda frowned and wanted to say something, but restrained herself. As Sierra said, she decided to observe the situation. The hero couldn't take her eyes off Idan, ignoring Arabel. There was anger in her eyes, and it was obvious how much she hated him.
Arabel, standing a little apart from everyone, was very worried. She was afraid that she would not be able to repeat what Idan had done and take on the Form of a Spirit, and in front of everyone.
Arabel closed her eyes and tried to calm down, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't. On the contrary, her anxiety only grew.
"Come what may," she thought, and finally, after mastering her bloodline, she decided to take the form of an Ice Valkyrie.
Her long red hair turned white, as if shining and sparkling with brilliance. A snow-white fluffy scarf appeared around Arabel's neck, which immediately disintegrated and turned into two pairs of large wings on her back.
The temperature of the air around her began to drop rapidly.
And then something amazing happened. Above Arabel's head, huge clouds began to gather high in the sky, from which snow began to fall, covering the ground around her with a thick layer of snow.
Everyone who was watching Arabel found themselves in the middle of a snow-white winter field in the blink of an eye.
"Here it is, it's started," Geminia said with a smile, looking at this amazing phenomenon. Then she turned to the others and continued:
"This is the path that everyone goes through. The last stage before taking the Spirit Form. Carefully observe and feel. This is not just a visual phenomenon. If you are lucky, you will be able to achieve enlightenment and get a hint of what exactly you need to achieve this goal."
"Spirit Form?!" — Lucinda exclaimed, taken aback by Geminia's unexpected statement. "Is this sister going to take on the Spirit Form?"
"Yes," Geminia confirmed.
"But how?" wondered Lucinda. As a member of the Higher Race, although she had not reached the higher realm, she knew about the Spirit Form. However, she never thought that she would witness someone gain it.
There were rumors in the higher realm that by witnessing this phenomenon, one could achieve enlightenment and ease one's path to finding one's own Spirit Form. However, there has been no confirmation of this until today. After all, no one could control the time of the appearance of this phenomenon.
Those who were able to take the Spirit Form, summoned it spontaneously, as a result of unexpected enlightenment or certain actions. As a result, few people could take advantage of it and become a witness to benefit. Moreover, there were very few people who managed to achieve this.
