Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 1827: We need a plan of attack…

"We got off to an unpleasant start;

Let's begin anew."

The Seraphyte spoke with a light smile on her face. Ember stared at her hand for a moment before she accepted her handshake, making her widen her smile.

"My name is Liora Shineway."

The Seraphyte Leader, Liora, introduced herself. Then, she pointed at the Stoneborn Leader and,

"My friend here is Kaelgran Forgeheart,"

Then finally, she glanced at the Sylvanix and,

"And she is Elaris Bloomveil.

We three are the Leaders of Velcria and we would like to welcome you to our world."

"I am Ember Leander."

Ember introduced herself.

Then, she started introducing her sisters,

"She is Skyla Leander,

Edda Leander,

Allura Leander.

Thyra Leander.

Astaria Leander.

Aisha Leander.

Melia Leander.

And Rune Leander."

"Leanders, huh…"

Liora noticed the same last name.

"We are sisters. You can call us the Leander Family if you'd prefer."

"I understand."

Liora nodded.

"You do not look like sisters to me."

Elaris spoke with a slight frown on her face, her eyes turning purple.

She was referring to the different racial features of the women present in front of her, but,

"We are."

Ember answered dismissively, not wanting to talk more about it.

Elaris didn't poke any further either.

Kaelgran, the Stoneborn, didn't care either way. He was already angry, and if it wasn't for Liora holding him back, he would have attacked these weaklings.

"Hmph."

He snorted as he looked away, clearly not interested in conversation.

"Please do not mind him, he has a fiery temper."

Liora spoke with a wry smile on her face.

"It doesn't matter, my race is known to have a fiery temper as well."

Ember nodded. Her words sounded supportive, but Kaelgran and even Liora could sense her hidden disdain.

Not that Ember was trying to hide it anyway.

A World Leader who couldn't control his emotions?

She was surprised this world survived this long.

'It is probably because they joined the Faction.'

Astaria, knowing what her sister might be thinking about, gave her input.

'Mhm.'

Ember nodded back; she had come to the same conclusion.

"Ember, if you do not mind, can I ask a question?"

Liora spoke politely.

"Please ask."

Ember nodded.

"Are the rumors true?"

Ember stared at the Seraphyte, and Liora continued,

"I will be honest,

Yes, you were correct, the reason we accepted your application was because of that rumor. Our informants told us that one of your party members threw the head of a Primordial from that party inside the mercenary hall."

"You investigated so far, yet you still weren't able to find out whether the rumor is true or not?"

Ember questioned as she raised her eyebrow.

Then, a light smile appeared on her face and,

"Or is it that you dare not believe what you were told?"

"Where I stand, I would want that to be nothing but the truth, but…"

"But?"

"I cannot leave the fate of my world on a rumor."

Liora spoke as she lowered her head.

"For you, this might be just any other random mission, but for me, it has an entirely different meaning.

I hope you understand."

Liora spoke as she glanced at Ember with clear eyes.

The Dragon General smiled at those words, and then,

"You are correct, to us, this is just like any other mission."

The three leaders frowned at those words, but the Dragon continued,

"But this doesn't mean we are going to take it for granted."

The Dragon then stared right into the Seraphyte's golden eyes and,

"Once we join the War.

Our lives are at stake.

And if there is one thing I can tell you confidently,

It is that we do not die,"

Ember then glanced at Kaelgran and,

"No matter what."

She completed her sentence.

Kaelgran narrowed his eyes at her words. He could tell that those words were aimed at him.

Liora and Elaris understood that as well. However, unlike Kaelgran, Liora found this confidence reassuring.

Once again, the sight of these nine women staring at three Primordials without a tinge of fear in their eyes appeared in her mind.

That confidence…

Liora knew that one couldn't just bluff such confidence.

'They have a hidden card.'

The Seraphyte realized it and she heaved a sigh of relief.

Then, she glanced at Ember and,

"I will leave Velcria's fate to you."

Ember nodded, and Liora started explaining,

"I don't think we need to tell this, but just so we are on the same page, let me start from the beginning.

The reason this War started is because the two factions our worlds are part of are at war with each other. Because of this, all the worlds in these factions are put against each other.

At first, everything was alright, Velcria and Tandris were two worlds that were equal in strength, so both factions knew invading each other and winning the war wasn't possible for any of the worlds, since the World Will of the defending world strengthens its people and the invaders would be at a heavy disadvantage.

None of the factions expected any results from the two worlds. However, as time passed, things got more complicated.

Vandris, a Middle-Level World from our faction, is currently at a disadvantage in its war against the enemy faction's world and is pressuring us to send reinforcements.

If we do that, we will be severely weakened and might even perish. However, Vandris's leaders aren't willing to listen.

We have no choice but to somehow win this war and send reinforcements because if we do not, we would end up offending Vandris, something we cannot afford.

This is why we turned towards mercenaries such as yourselves, who can somehow help us break this standstill between us and Tandris and help us win."

"I understand."

Ember nodded.

"Just like us, Tandris has three Primordials. Normally we three are stronger than them, however, if we fight them in Tandris, their home world, our advantage disappears.

Your party has the power to take on five Primordials at the same time. If you can help us win this war…

We will be grateful.

Of course, we are not asking you to take on all three enemy Primordials on your own. If your party can hold even one of them for just 3 hours, that would be enough."

This was the real mission.

"So when are we attacking?"

Ember questioned directly.

Liora was taken aback. She felt like the negotiations would continue, that the mercenaries would demand more rewards since they were in a pinch right now, but to think these women would agree so quickly.

"We need a plan of attack…"

Liora started explaining. As the prime strategist, she had already come up with quite a few strategies, but,

"I have a plan."

Ember interrupted. Liora stared at Ember, and the Dragon answered,

"Attack."
