Supreme Casanova: Ultimate Harem System

Chapter 140: I'd Be A God!

Hugo stood frozen in front of the mirror, staring into his own reflection like a man who'd just discovered superpowers.

His eyes—once ordinary—now held a magnetic pull so intense he felt like he could hypnotise himself just by looking too long.

They shimmered with a mix of confidence and mystery, as if they were whispering secrets no one else could hear.

He leaned in closer, squinting. "This is nuts... just 10 points did this?" His mind was already spinning with possibilities.

The temptation was real. He wanted to dump every last Mastery Point into Mesmerizing Gaze right now.

Who needed restraint when the results were this good? His finger hovered over the "Add Points" button.

But then, a flicker of self-control kicked in. "Wait, wait, wait," he muttered, stepping away from the screen like it was cursed. "This is how you go broke, Hugo! Think smart!"

He began pacing again, muttering ridiculous chants under his breath. "Impulse is the enemy… patience is a virtue… my points are precious…"

He slapped his cheeks lightly, trying to snap himself out of it. "Calm down, man! You're not a kid in a candy store!"

His pacing slowed, and he took a deep breath. "Okay, okay. Calm down. Let's think this through."

As he paced, Hugo's thoughts began to clear. "Alright, so the Mastery Tab is like… passive skills," he said, nodding to himself.

"They're always on. You don't have to activate them, don't have to think about them. They're just… there, working in the background. Like having a permanent upgrade to life."

He tapped his chin, his mind racing. "Now, the Auras? Those are different. They're active. You turn them on, they do their thing, and then they run out. They're flashy, sure, but they're temporary."

He paused, a grin spreading across his face. "But Masteries? Oh man, they're the real deal. They're always there, always working. It's like getting buff without going to the gym."

Hugo nodded to himself, feeling like he'd cracked some great cosmic secret. "I finally get it. Mastery is lowkey OP."

With his newfound understanding, Hugo scrolled back to the Kissing Mastery slot. His face flushed as he hovered over the button.

"This is so embarrassing," he muttered, glancing around his empty room. "But hey, the system doesn't judge, right?"

He spent another 1,000 credits to buy 10 Mastery Points and dumped them into Kissing Mastery.

The moment he confirmed, his head throbbed with a sharp, pulsing pain. He clutched his temples, groaning. "Ah, not again! Why does this hurt so much?!"

Then, out of nowhere, his lips started twitching uncontrollably. It felt like someone was pulling invisible strings attached to his mouth.

"What the heck?! This is so weird!" he shouted, covering his face.

After a few moments, the pain and twitching stopped, leaving Hugo sitting on the edge of his bed, breathing heavily. But something had changed. He could feel it.

His mind was suddenly flooded with knowledge—tips, techniques, and ideas for kissing that he didn't even know existed.

He knew where to place his hands, how to read subtle cues, and even how to mix up the pace to keep things exciting.

"This is… amazing," he whispered, running his fingers over his lips. "I feel like I've just downloaded the ultimate kissing guide straight into my brain."

He grinned, though there was no one around to test his newfound skills on. "Whoever kisses me next is in for a surprise."

Still buzzing from the Kissing Mastery upgrade, Hugo turned his attention to the next slot: Speed Reader.

He added 10 points, and the moment he confirmed, a sharp pain stabbed through his brain like someone was scribbling notes directly onto his skull.

His eyes burned, forcing him to shut them tightly. "Ow, ow, ow! What is this? Homework revenge?!" he groaned, clutching his head.

The pain faded after a few moments, and Hugo blinked rapidly, his vision clearing. Without thinking, he grabbed the nearest textbook from his desk and flipped it open.

His eyes skimmed the pages faster than he thought possible, the words flowing into his brain like water into a sponge.

But it wasn't just speed—he could actually remember everything. It was as if he'd read the lines 2 times over.

He closed the book and recited entire paragraphs from memory. "This is insane," he muttered, flipping through another book just to test it again. "It's like I've read these two times already!"

Hugo's jaw dropped. The possibilities were endless. He could pass tests, ace exams, maybe even read an entire library in a week?

Hugo leaned back in his chair, staring at the Mastery Tab with a mix of awe and greed. His gaze flicked between the three slots:

Mesmerizing Gaze, Kissing Mastery, and Speed Reader. Each one only had 10 points, but the effects were already blowing his mind.

"What if I maxed them all out?" he wondered aloud, his imagination running wild.

He pictured himself walking into a room, his gaze so intense that people would stop mid-sentence just to stare.

He'd kiss like a movie star, speak like a legend, and ace every test without breaking a sweat.

"I'd be unstoppable," he whispered, his grin widening. "No, I'd be a god!"

"I need a million credits!" he shouted, throwing his arms in the air. "No, a billion! I'll max out everything! I'll be a god among men!"

But when he glanced at his remaining credits, reality came crashing down. "Okay, Hugo, slow your roll," he muttered, slumping back onto his bed.

"You've got, what, 2,000 credits left? Baby steps. Let's not get ahead of ourselves."

Hugo sat straight, his excitement bubbling again. There was still one thing he hadn't checked yet: the Level-Up Token.

He clicked on it, his heart pounding with anticipation. "Alright, let's see what you've got," he said, his voice tinged with mischief. "Don't let me down, Token. Show me something amazing!"
