Chapter 618: Death Of Crown Prince!
7th Realm…
"We succeeded… Hahaha"
Both Ryon and Jason began laughing loudly. The divine shrine light faded slowly after performing its function.
"Let's go… it's time to celebrate." Jason said loudly.
"Yes, I also need to relax now. For the last few weeks I've been under steep stress." Ryon said in approval.
"Why such a headache?" Jason asked casually.
"What could I say? Someone robbed my royal treasury, stole the legacy art from five mountains and still don;t where all the prisoners escaped. It's all chaos." Ryon replied with a serious look.
Jason was taken aback by this reply. He can't even imagine someone stealing legacy art as it is impossible. "Don't worry. We will find the culprit. But now, we need to celebrate the death of Kent." Jason encouraged in a cheerful tone.

Spirit World…
Kent appeared in yogic sage realm of the spirit world. It is very peaceful with serene sounds and calming energy. Everything in the yogic sage realm is a piece of art. Even natural growing trees won't grow out of line.
Kent found himself standing on the flat bluegrass, the mana in the air humming with power. He instinctively assessed his surroundings, his sharp eyes darting around for Scott and Lily, but they were nowhere in sight.
A faint rustle reached his ears. From opposite ends of the clearing, Maxwell and Simon emerged, their footsteps measured but their intentions clear on their faces.
Both young masters bore weapons infused with death magic—Maxwell wielded a long spear etched with runes that shimmered with malevolence, while Simon gripped a glowing staff, its tip flickering like an ember about to ignite.
Kent tilted his head, a faint smirk playing on his lips. "This doesn't feel like a coincidence. Let me guess—divine shrine manipulation by your father, right?"
"Clever, as always. But cleverness won't save you this time." Maxwell sneered.
Simon raised his staff, the crimson glow intensifying. "You're finished, Kent. This Spirit World will be your grave."
"You haven't changed a bit from last time. Same as always, talking big. Let's see if you can back it up."
Before Kent could react further, Maxwell thrust his hand forward, releasing an enchanted chain that shot through the air with lightning speed. The chain wrapped around Kent's body in a flash, glowing ominously as it pulsed with suppressive energy.
Maxwell grinned triumphantly. "This chain was crafted specifically for you, Kent. Your spells are useless now."
Kent glanced at the chain, his expression calm and unbothered. He flexed his arms slightly, testing its strength. "Is this supposed to impress me?"
Maxwell's grin faltered. "You won't be so cocky in a moment."
Simon sprang into action, leaping into the air with his staff glowing brightly. He began chanting an incantation, a circle of runes forming in the air around him. "By the crimson wrath, I summon—"
But before Simon could finish, Kent took a deep breath and flexed his muscles. The enchanted chain shattered with a resounding crack, the fragments dissolving into harmless sparks. Maxwell, who gripped the chain tightly, fell to the ground in shock.
"What?!" Simon's chant faltered as he fell from mid-air, disbelief written all over his face. "That's impossible! That chain was reinforced with the power of the Quinn family's special bloodline talisman!"
Kent rolled his shoulders, the faint smirk returning. "Seems like your talismans are overrated."
But suddenly both Simon and Maxwell realised something.
In the second, Maxwell and Simon turned to see Philip, their supposed ally, casually walking away from the fight, his hands tucked behind his back.
Phillip has the main role in trapping Kent. But he completely discarded his activity.
"Philip! What are you doing? Get back here!" Maxwell's voice cracked angrily as he called out.
Philip didn't bother turning around. "I'm not interested in ganging up on someone. If you want revenge, do it yourself."
"Philip, we can't win without you! This was the plan! You're ruining everything!" Simon, his voice tinged with desperation, yelled,
Philip paused for a moment but didn't look back. "Plans change. Good luck, brother."
And with that, he disappeared into the mist, leaving Maxwell and Simon paralyzed with fear.
Maxwell felt like kicking brother all around after realizing what just happened.
Both Maxwell and Simon stared at each other with pale faces. Their next beast plan is to escape.
But just as Maxwell turned around… the ground trembled, with a low growl Kent's baby dragon appeared behind him. Its piercing eyes locked onto Maxwell, a guttural roar escaping its throat.
Maxwell stumbled backward, his face pale. "Dr.. Dragon…?!"
From behind Simon, two more figures blocked him. Ruby, the Phoenix Lady, her fiery wings ablaze, hovered slightly off the ground. Beside her stood Kavi, the Fire Kirin, its hooves sparking with small bursts of fire. Both creatures radiated an intimidating aura, their eyes fixed on Simon.
Simon swallowed hard. "We're… we're trapped."
Kent jerked his right arm, his divine mace materializing in his hand. Its surface glowed with a golden light, radiating power.
"You wanted a fight. Let's make it fair."
Maxwell, fueled by desperation, dropped summoning tokens to the ground. In a flash of light, spectral wolves and a thunderbird appeared, their forms crackling with dark energy.
"Protect Me!" Maxwell screamed.
The baby dragon moved first, lunging at the wolves with terrifying speed. Its claws ripped through the spectral forms, dissipating them into wisps of smoke.
The thunderbird soared into the sky, aiming a bolt of lightning at the dragon, but Ruby intercepted it mid-air, her fiery wings clashing with the thunderbird's electricity. In a burst of light, the thunderbird disintegrated, leaving Ruby unscathed.
Simon, trembling, didn't dare to attack as he already surrendered to Kent.
Maxwell, realizing he was outmatched, activated his life-saving talisman. His body began to shimmer as the teleportation spell took hold.
"I won't die here!" he shouted, his voice laced with panic.
But just as the spell began to teleport him, the baby dragon unleashed a massive fireball. The explosive blast struck Maxwell mid-teleportation, and his agonized scream echoed through the clearing.
When the smoke cleared, half of Maxwell's lifeless body lay crumpled on the ground, the other half having been teleported away.
Kent sighed, lowering his mace slightly. "I wasn't planning on killing him… not yet."
Simon, now the only one left, collapsed to his knees. Tears streamed down his face as he sobbed uncontrollably.
"Kent, please! I didn't want this! I was just following orders!"
Kent stepped closer, his imposing figure casting a shadow over Simon. "Following orders? That's your excuse?"
Simon dropped his staff and began kowtowing himself on the ground. "Please… spare me! I'll leave the Spirit World. I'll never come near you again!"
The baby dragon growled, its fiery breath heating the air. Ruby and Kavi stood ready, their eyes locked on Kent, awaiting his command.
Kent stared down at Simon, his expression unreadable. After a long pause, he tightened his grip on the mace. "You came here to kill me. Do you think mercy is something you deserve?"
Simon's cries grew louder, his body trembling. "I swear I'll change! I'll disappear! Just… please…"
