Chapter 326: Xing Family

"Good, 'cause I don't think I can defeat any Titled Douluo without using my real powers," Dave mumbled, his eyes narrowing.

He turned his gaze to the circle as it began to flare brighter, pulsing with raw energy.

The swirling summoning ring intensified—ice and fire dancing together in perfect, chaotic harmony. The ground trembled as the air grew heavy, charged with an ancient power. Then, without warning, she appeared.

A sharp crack split the silence as heels touched the earth with lethal grace.

She emerged like a specter of beauty and ruin—divine and devastating.

La Signora.

Tall. Elegant. Commanding. Her very presence seemed to bend the world around her, as if reality itself bowed in reverence.

Her heels clacked softly on the cracked stone, and a cold mist swept outward from her arrival, frosting the edges of the nearby grass and trees. Each step was deliberate, exuding a cold confidence that chilled the bones.

She wore a black and crimson gown that clung to her form with sinful precision—slit high at the sides to reveal long, flawless legs that shimmered like porcelain kissed by moonlight. Intricate embroidery in dark crimson traced across her bodice, forming patterns reminiscent of burning roses and falling snow. Her corset hugged her waist like sculpted armor, giving her the silhouette of both a queen and a predator.

Her skin was pale, almost ethereal, glowing faintly under the crimson light of the summoning. Smooth and unblemished, it gave her an otherworldly allure—one that demanded both awe and fear.

Her hair cascaded in waves of platinum silver, partially tied back, but wild enough to catch the wind like a banner of frost. A butterfly-shaped mask framed half of her face, enhancing the sharp, aristocratic lines of her features rather than hiding them.

But it was her eyes that truly held power.

Cold. Piercing. Regal.

A deep crimson hue flickered within them—like embers trapped behind frost-glazed glass. They burned with intellect, danger, and a hint of amusement, as if she already knew how everything would end.

A wicked, knowing smirk curled her lips.

"Well, well…" she purred, her voice as smooth as silk and sharp as ice. "Master, you finally called me."

The next moment, before Dave could react, he found his face buried between two soft, perfect curves as she suddenly pulled him into a tight embrace.

"You have no idea how much I missed you," she said, practically pouting against his neck, clinging to him as if grieving all the time he hadn't summoned her.

Dave, completely unbothered, slid one arm around her waist with a shameless grin. "Does that mean you're mine now?"

She looked up at him, her cheeks faintly pink despite her normally composed expression, and gave a slow nod. "Of course. Always."

"As for why I called you…" Dave said, gently tapping her forehead, "there's an old man harassing that couple over there. Go deal with him."

At that, Signora pulled back, and the coy affection vanished from her face—replaced by regal authority. Her expression shifted, and in the blink of an eye, she went from playful woman to fearsome goddess.

Wreathed in cold fire, she took a single step back. A blinding glow erupted beneath her feet, and two majestic elemental wings unfurled from her back—one icy blue, the other a crimson red. They shimmered with divine energy, each beat scattering frost and embers through the air like falling stardust.

She rose slightly into the air, her cape billowing around her, hair flowing like a silver river as she launched forward—an unstoppable force of ice and flame.

As the air crackled from her departure, Dave folded his arms and smirked.

"Let's see her stats…" he murmured, calling up her profile.

A shimmering blue screen formed in front of him:

[Summon Status: La Signora]

Dave whistled low, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "Yeah… this'll be fun to watch."

The old man stood tall amidst the destruction, his robe fluttering in the storm of spirit energy as he raised a jet-black spear forged of pure spirit power. His Martial Spirit—a monstrous Dark Heaven Turtle—loomed behind him like a mountain of shadow, its eyes glowing with malevolent light. Cracks spidered across the ground beneath his feet, the sheer pressure of his cultivation warping the air.

The man's voice thundered, cold and merciless.

"Fool! You dared marry a woman you could never protect. Now suffer the consequences. Pay the price for your arrogance."

He thrust the spear forward, aiming directly at the bleeding husband who knelt before his unconscious wife, shielding her with the last of his strength.

Just before the spear could pierce his chest—

A streak of blue frost and crimson fire cleaved through the battlefield like a heavenly comet.

BOOM!

The spear shattered mid-flight in a burst of steam and burning embers, scattering molten fragments into the air.

Both the old man and the battered husband stared in stunned confusion as a woman descended from the sky, surrounded by swirling ice and flame. Her heels touched the earth gently, yet the very ground cracked beneath her presence.

She stood between the old man and the couple—tall, elegant, deadly.

La Signora.

The old man narrowed his eyes, raising his spirit power again. "Who are you? And how dare you interfere with the matters of the Dark Heaven Family?"

Signora tilted her head slowly, her eyes glinting with disdain beneath the butterfly mask. A mocking smirk curled her lips.

"Tch," she scoffed, her voice a frigid whisper wrapped in disdain. "You lower creatures truly amuse me."

She raised her chin slightly, crimson eyes glowing beneath the delicate curve of her butterfly mask.

"You interrupted my reunion with my hubby..." she continued, her tone now laced with venom, "...and then had the audacity to question me?"
