Chapter 159: New World III
[Your knowledge has increased by reading the book.]
[You have gained +1 Intelligence.]
"Hmm, stats can increase like that," Dave mumbled as he continued reading. However, as he finished another book, no notification appeared. Picking up a third book, he began to read again, and then...

[You have gained +1 Intelligence.]
"So, it doubled," Dave muttered. At first, it was 1 Intelligence point per book, then it became 1 point for every two books. Intrigued, he continued reading, discovering that the requirement doubled each time—2 to 4, 4 to 8, and so on.
Over the course of three months, Dave read relentlessly, completing over 13,189 books—every single book in the library.
[Your knowledge has increased tremendously.]
[You have gained +14 Intelligence (total gain) for reading 13,189 books.]
[You have unlocked the title: Scholar of Lubana.]
[Title Effect: Intelligence +10, Mana Regeneration +5%]
"Finally," Dave muttered, closing the last book. He stretched, feeling a sense of accomplishment. "This title and stat boost were worth the effort. Now, let's see how far this takes me."
Though inwardly disappointed by the relatively small increase in his Intelligence—just a total of 24, with 14 from the books and 10 from the title—Dave had to keep up appearances. He knew all players' actions were monitored in real-time, after all, and it wouldn't do to show any signs of dissatisfaction in a game world.
"By the way," he mumbled, "the books mentioned a special cave, and I even got a quest for it." He ignored the quest for the time being, having received it in the middle of his binge-reading,planing to see it until he finished reading all the books.
[King Madara Meditation Cave]
[You have read about the cave where the legendary King Madara used to visit and meditate after each battle.]
[Go and see if this cave really exists.]
[Time Limit: None]
[Reward: Continuation of quest]
Dave then opened the map to see the location of the cave and frowned. "Hmm, it's in an area with level 80-100 monsters," he mumbled. He then opened his friend chat and contacted Emma, Diana, Boa, and Trish.
"Must have leveled up quite a lot after all these months," he thought. "I can ask for their help."
Unlike him, they focused on leveling up and fighting. Trish's class was Berserker, Emma's was Frost Mage, Diana's was Saintess, and Boa's class was Saintess Knight.
When Dave first found out about the Saintess class, he understood that Diana had chosen it, as he had given them some spoilers on where to find powerful classes. Boa and Diana probably worked together to obtain this class, while the others leveled up on their own, working their own way for the powerful classes.
Dave: "Hey! I need help, can you guys come?" he messaged them.
...
...
...
Diana: "We are coming."
Boa: "Wait! Davey~~, I am coming~~ too~~"
Dave: "Good. My location (Sharing location)."
He exited the chat group and sat down in the square, waiting for them. After half an hour, they finally arrived, riding a Wyvern. It was an aqua-blue Wyvern.
"You've tamed a Water Wyvern?" Dave asked.
Diana smiled. "I found him injured, and then I healed him. He became my pet," she said, hopping down from its back. The Wyvern turned its head toward Dave, its large yellow eyes shimmering.
Wyverns weren't that rare as pets, but they were difficult to tame and obtain, so it was a big achievement. Diana began to take some shots of the Wyvern as Dave climbed onto its back, sitting with Boa and Diana.
"Who was that guy going with two goddesses?" a player nearby asked, clearly curious.
"yeah, a toad riding with two swans" another said dissatisfied
As a girl nearby injected, "Humph, he was a handsome guy unless you two didn't notice." She looked at them as if they were badmouthing Dave.
Other girls also nodded causing the jealous guy to run away from there, while the girls looked at each other " did you get his picture?" they began to gossip.
"He was probably an rich guy," another player said, and everyone nodded in agreement.

"Where are we going?" Diana asked as she controlled the Wyvern. Dave, looking at the map given by the system, replied, "Just continue to fly straight." She nodded in response, while Boa leaned on him, hugging him from behind.
After a few hours, they finally reached their destination. From above, the sky looked down on a dense forest with massive trees, some glowing with light green and dark green hues.
"Hm, it seems it is an Forest Troll area," Dave said, looking down at the scene. He noticed the glowing trolls moving about, their silhouettes casting eerie shadows.
"That's what I need help with," he said, pointing at the cave in the distance. "I want to reach that cave."
The others nodded, and Diana began to land the Wyvern at a safe distance. The team quickly dismounted, and as Diana swapped her Wyvern-riding gear for combat gear, the group prepared to move toward the cave.
While they were making their way toward the cave, at the Satisfy headquarters, there were other eyes watching their every move.
Lim Cheolho, one of the 33 people who helped create the Satisfy game, was standing before multiple screens. One of the screens displayed Dave and his team, moving toward the cave. Another screen showed Kraguel, the current highest-level player in the game. Another focused on a guy who seemed foolish at first glance but was working tirelessly—Grid, the protagonist, was featured on another screen, looking deep in thought as he worked on his next big move.
Among the other screens were images of Agnus, who was wreaking havoc in the villages with his emotionless actions, and Hurret, who was wildly battling in the regions. Finally, there was a screen showing someone Haster learning under the Red Sage.
" another Miracle player is about to rise" he mumbled as he focused on Dave especially.
