Chapter 132: Captain
Natasha fixed him with a serious stare. "I wish this was a joke, but it's a harsh reality," she said firmly.
Steve glanced around at the others in the room, their somber expressions confirming her words. He sighed heavily, leaning back in his seat. "Just how much has the world changed in a few decades?" he muttered to himself, rubbing his temples in disbelief.
"You have no idea," Natasha replied with a wry smile.
Fury tapped his fingers against the table thoughtfully. "We need contingencies for him, just in case."
"As much as I would have agreed to that," Steve began, "against a man who can obliterate Earth with a single punch, where exactly are you going to find a contingency?"
Fury glanced at Natasha. "She's one change we've got. She's now powerful in ways we're still trying to understand, and we're working on projecting her powers to others as well," he said.
Steve looked at Natasha, surprised.
Natasha extended her hand, and a faint orange flame appeared in her palm. "You've got powers?" Steve asked, wide-eyed.
"Just a small gift from Dave," Natasha said, nodding.
Steve frowned thoughtfully. "Well then, it's clear he sees you guys as nothing but ants, even if he gives you power, it means it wouldn't matter much against him," Steve said, leaning back in his chair.
Fury shook his head slightly and turned to Natasha. "Continue."
Natasha nodded. "After that, we spent some time together, while Dave studied their magic."
"He's still improving?" Fury asked.
Natasha nodded and continued. "Yes. And then he fought Thor with mystical weapons. Mjölnir was destroyed in the battle."
Fury's expression hardened as he leaned forward. "Dave destroyed Mjölnir?"
"Yes," Natasha confirmed. "And I'm pretty sure he was holding back when they fought."
"Just continue," Fury said, as he leaned back, listening closely.
"Then we went to another planet, called Nivadellir," Natasha continued. "It's a planet inhabited by beings who are called Dwarves, though they aren't actually dwarves. They're even bigger than me," she said, pausing. "There, Thor went to get his hammer reforged, while Dave ordered a powerful sword called the Infinity Sword, which possesses capability to use the infinity stones," she explained.
"What's the Infinity Stone?" Captain America asked, raising an eyebrow.
Fury shot him a look and motioned for Natasha to continue. She nodded and went on.
"The Infinity Stones are powerful objects that, when combined, can give someone enough strength to control an entire universe," she said.
"And there are six of them," she added. "Dave is wanting to wielding the power of all of them at once."
"Then we went to another planet called Xander, though it was more of an pit stop while on our way to Nidavellir" she continued.
"Though what's important is that Dave heard rumors about the Celestial Corpse on another planet, and went to check it out, but it wasn't true," Natasha continued. "And Celestials are the true gods, capable of manipulating entire universes. They create Planets, Galaxies and Universes too"
"I think Dave want the power to counter them," she added. "He do not want to be a powerless person under anyone else, so he must be wanting those stones and the Infinity Sword to match their power."
Steve and the others looked at each other, processing the information as Natasha finished her recount.
"Does he have those Infinity Stones?" Fury asked, looking at Natasha.
"I don't know that, but it seems he doesn't have them," she replied.
"How do you know that?" Captain asked. Natasha answered, "He got another weapon called the Dragon Slayer Sword, Gram, for the time being, but he didn't attach any stones to it, just stored the stored."
"Maybe he wants to fuse the stones on it later," Captain suggested, and Fury nodded in agreement.
"Maybe," Natasha said.
"And he did all that under your eyes, and didn't bothered to hide it?" Captain asked, raising an eyebrow.
"It seems in his eyes you guys are just ants truly. He could crush you all anytime if he wanted to," Captain said, eyeing them all.
Everyone heard him as they just nodded, knowing its the truth.
"And now that I've heard all of this, I really wonder how you plan to find contingencies against him," Captain America asked, looking at Fury.
Fury stared at him for a moment before responding. "I didn't know about the Infinity Stones or where we could get them."
"Maybe if we find them, we can match his power," Natasha suggested.
"But we don't have them, nor do we know where we can get them," Captain America replied, shaking his head. "But we have something else." Fury motioned to the screen, showing an image of the Tesseract.
"Yes, the Tesseract," Captain America said, recalling their last encounter with it. "Last time, we didn't know what Red Skull had planned to do with it."
Fury nodded, his eyes narrowing. "We need power to fight against him. If we can harness this, we might have a chance."
"But are you sure?" Captain America asked, his brow furrowed. "I pretty much remember Red Skull dying quite easily and horribly when he tried to use it."
Fury nodded, a stern expression on his face. "We're just waking up to a larger threat. We need to create power from whatever resources we have," he said, a sense of urgency in his tone.
"We still have Natasha," Hawkeye added, trying to lighten the mood. "She's been with him, and even gained Super Powers from him"
Natasha gave a small smile but nodded. "I got some powers from Dave," she said, showing out her bracelets. "This was a gift from him. It's more than just a bracelet—" She said as those glowed and then turned into two daggers, one red one azure colour.
" they are Agni and Rudra having the power of Hellflame and Hellwind" She said as she also demonstrated her powers.
" and just now this trip I got this Sword, Mystic Heart Sword, it is another magic sword, I got from Asgard" she said showing the sword to them.
