Super Template System In Marvel and Beyond

Chapter 127: Morag

Morag is an oceanic planet located in the Andromeda Galaxy, orbiting the eclipsing binary star M31V J00443799+4129236. Its inhabitants include the Orloni and aquatic crocodile-like creatures.

"So, this is where the Orloni are captured from?" Dave asked, turning to an Asgardian who nodded in confirmation.

"Orloni? You mean those rat-sized, sharp-toothed reptiles we saw on Xandar?" Diana chimed in, recalling the memory. "It's like a cockfight on Earth, except they bet on which Orloni will win. A lot of people gamble on them."

"Yes," Thor nodded solemnly. "Maybe that's when they spotted a Celestial corpse here but never dared to touch it, fearing they might incur the wrath of the Celestials."

Dave nodded thoughtfully as the conversation shifted.

"We've reached the planet Morag," an Asgardian announced as the ship came out of the space jump. Dave and the others moved to the observation deck, their eyes drawn to the view.

"So, this is Morag…" they murmured, staring at the striking black-and-blue planet below.

As the ship descended, the vibrant yet eerie beauty of Morag became more apparent. The planet was mostly covered in vast, dark oceans with scattered landmasses. Ancient ruins emerged from the water like forgotten relics, their surfaces glistening with a faint bioluminescent glow.

"We can't find a place to dock the ship," the Asgardian pilot said, steering cautiously.

"It's fine. Hover here," Thor instructed, walking to the ship's hatch. He opened it and looked outside. Dave glanced at him briefly before jumping out. His demonic wings unfurled with a sharp snap, carrying him effortlessly through the air before he hovered above the ocean's surface.

'Now, where could it be?' Dave thought, scanning the horizon.

Suddenly, his system's voice echoed in his mind.

[Host, it will take just 100 Template Points to acquire the location of the artifact.]

Dave raised an eyebrow. "You mean I can use Template Points for information too?" he asked, surprised.

[Yes, host. Any information can be accessed using Template Points.]

Dave's expression darkened slightly. "Why didn't you tell me this earlier?"

[Host never asked.]

Hearing the system's straightforward reply, Dave sighed in exasperation. "Just give me the location," he said, shaking his head.

Almost immediately, the system marked the precise coordinates in his mind.

"Let's go and find where this Celestial corpse is," Thor said, flying nearby, his cape billowing behind him.

Dave nodded. "You head in that direction," he said, pointing. "I'll cover this side."

"Good idea. This way, we can find it faster," Thor agreed before flying off toward his designated area.

"you guys wait here, we will call the moment we find it" Dave said to the ship as they nodded.

Dave turned and headed toward the coordinates the system provided, his wings slicing through the air with ease. Below him, the ocean stretched endlessly, but the system's guidance filled him with confidence. "Let's see what secrets this place holds," he muttered, a determined glint in his eyes.

Dave continued flying until he reached the location the system had pinpointed. Hovering above the spot, he observed the water below. "Hmm, it's submerged," he muttered, before folding his wings and diving into the ocean with precision.

The cool water rushed past him as he swam deeper, guided by the system's marker. Soon, a grand underwater temple came into view, its ancient design weathered by time. He approached the sealed entrance, drawing his Devil Sword Dante. With a powerful swing, the blade cleaved through the massive doors, sending a ripple of energy throughout the temple.

Inside, the chamber was illuminated by a soft, otherworldly glow emanating from an orb floating within a laser barrier.

"Found it," he murmured, his eyes locking onto the artifact. Swimming closer, he wrapped his hand in Armament Haki, the shimmering black aura adding strength and protection. Without hesitation, he plunged his hand through the laser screen, ignoring the resistance, and grabbed the orb.

As he pulled it free, the barrier collapsed, the orb now firmly in his grasp.

"Power Stone is mine," he thought with a smirk, carefully placing the orb into his system's storage space.

Exiting the temple, he propelled himself to the ocean's surface and took to the skies once more. Dave decided to return to the ship, knowing there was no actual Celestial corpse to be found. That story had been a convenient fabrication to justify his excursion.

"Mission accomplished," he muttered, his wings beating rhythmically as he flew toward the ship, satisfaction evident in his expression.

Dave soon returned to the ship, his wings folding as he landed gracefully on the deck. Thor arrived shortly after, his hammer in hand.

"Did you find the corpse?" Thor asked, a trace of curiosity in his voice.

Dave shook his head, feigning disappointment. "No, it's probably submerged too deep to reach without specialized equipment."

Thor shrugged casually. "Well, whatever. Let's head to Nidavellir now. We have work to do there."

Dave nodded in agreement, boarding the ship alongside Thor. The engines hummed to life, and soon, the vessel was speeding toward its next destination.

Natasha sighed, leaning back in her seat. "It's a pity. I really wanted to see what a Celestial corpse looks like."

Diana nodded in agreement, though her expression remained neutral.

Thor chuckled, shaking his head. "Trust me, it's better not to see a live one if you understand their power. Celestials are nothing like us. To them, everything we value is insignificant—a mere speck of dust in the universe."

The others nodded thoughtfully, the weight of Thor's words sinking in. The journey to Nidavellir continued in silence, each member of the group lost in their own thoughts.

Meanwhile, in his private quarters aboard the ship, Dave sat alone, retrieving the orb from his system's storage. The glowing artifact rested in his hand, its surface gleaming with a mesmerizing purple light.

"Can I touch it?" he asked, a hint of hesitation in his voice.

[Host can. You are powerful enough to hold three Infinity Stones safely.]

Hearing the system's assurance, Dave nodded and began examining the orb closely. Using his strength and focus, he twisted and maneuvered the orb, solving it like a complex puzzle. As he worked, the orb began to shift and emit a radiant purple glow.
