Chapter 234: Take Action!

Abigail looked at Jiang Cheng with the eyes of someone watching a madman. Such insane words were, of course, impossible for him to believe. A god?

What a joke. This young man's fragility, if he still retained even one-tenth of his combat power, he could easily kill. Is there such a fragile god in this world?

"I know what you're thinking." Jiang Cheng said with a smile, looking down at Abigail, "With your mindset, of course, you can't understand these things. I completely understand that, but I also don't need you to understand these things."

"What exactly do you want to do? You captured us, so you probably don't just want to have a chat with me, right?" Abigail stared coldly at Jiang Cheng and asked.

"Of course, it's not just to have a simple chat with you. I want you to help me with something." Jiang Cheng said blandly.

"What do you need us to do?" Abigail showed a faint smile and asked softly. Since the other party had demands, then there was room for negotiation, making communication much simpler.

"Kill Morgan and the other clients involved in hiring you." Jiang Cheng looked at Abigail and said calmly.

Hearing Jiang Cheng's words, Abigail's pupils constricted sharply, utterly shocked. He never expected that this was Jiang Cheng's demand!

This too...

After a while, Abigail asked in a difficult tone, "Do you really know what you're saying?"

"Of course I know what I'm saying. Since they hired you to deal with me, then, naturally, they must be prepared to die as well." Jiang Cheng said matter-of-factly, looking at Abigail.

"If they die, the United States, no, the entire world, will be thrown into chaos!!" Abigail looked at Jiang Cheng with the eyes of a madman and couldn't help but say coldly.

"You're overthinking it, the entire world thrown into chaos? Who do you think they are? They're merely the rulers of their families. I'm asking you to kill them, not annihilate their families. Even if they die, there will still be others to take their place." Jiang Cheng shook his head and said calmly.

"But to accept a target to kill the employer is something our Knight Mercenary Corps never does." Abigail, after hearing Jiang Cheng's words, fell silent again, then shook his head after a while, saying, "This completely goes against the rules.

"Against the rules?" Jiang Cheng said with a slight amusement, "Do you even understand what rules mean?"

"Naturally, if we didn't abide by rules, we wouldn't have survived until now. You might find it absurd, but sometimes, we are the ones who adhere the most to the rules!" Abigail said softly.

"Even if it means dying, you're willing to give up all your brothers?" Jiang Cheng asked amusedly, in response to Abigail's words.

"Naturally." Abigail wasn't flustered, nor did he foolishly beg Jiang Cheng to spare his brothers. He nodded seriously and said, "Since starting this line of work, both I and my brothers have made such a decision. One day, we will die, so dying for adhering to rules is not strange at all. You can kill us; I won't agree to your request."

Abigail's calm words, facing death unflinchingly, earned Jiang Cheng some admiration. In this world, there were too few who could truly face death, but admiration aside, he still maintained his stance.

Jiang Cheng shook his head and said, "I admire your courage, but I must still ask, even if I kill all your family members, do you not care?"

Upon hearing this, Abigail's pupils constricted sharply, his eyes widened, staring intensely at Jiang Cheng, "Impossible! You can't possibly know their locations! No one in this world knows their locations!!!"

"Ha? Finally, a different reaction." Jiang Cheng chuckled and said, "You might think it's impossible, but many things in this world surpass your imagination."

Under Abigail's murderous glare, Jiang Cheng calmly placed a stack of documents beside Abigail.

Meanwhile, Jiang Cheng said lightly, "These are the details of each of your team's 12 members' relatives, lovers, even friends—humans living in this world inevitably have weaknesses. You may not care about your deaths, but they might."

Abigail stared intently at those documents; the information on them sent chills down his spine. How did Jiang Cheng find these things!

He glared at Jiang Cheng and roared, "Bastard! Bastard! You'll go to hell for this! You devil!"

"I never thought I'd be called a devil by a bloodstained mercenary. If you've all resolved to face death, why haven't you made such a resolution?" Jiang Cheng said with a slight amusement, "And going to hell—your vocabulary is quite limited, devil? I'm no devil.

"So? Can you accept my terms now?" Jiang Cheng asked, looking at Abigail.

"We simply can't determine the specific locations of Morgan's or other families' powerholders, and it's impossible for our 12 people to break through their protective circles. It's an impossible task. Even if we die, we can't accomplish it.

This is the truth. Although we are well-known, there are still many things in this world that we cannot do." Abigail tried to calm his emotions and, after careful thought, began to speak.

"You don't have to worry about that." Jiang Cheng shook his head and said, "I will naturally provide you with the relevant information. With the assistance of the information I provide, killing them is not a difficult task.

"Answer me." Jiang Cheng looked at him.

"I understand, I agree to your demand." Jiang Cheng's

words brought Abigail back to silence once more. After a while, he nodded heavily and spoke.

"As long as you understand. Remember, don't try anything funny. Otherwise, it's still easy for me to have you killed." Jiang Cheng said, while casually snapping his fingers.

"Bang!!!" When Jiang Cheng snapped his fingers, Abigail's heart immediately throbbed with intense pain.

Abigail let out a painful cry. His body bent from the severe pain, and his forehead was covered in sweat. The intense pain took him a long time to calm down from, and he weakly asked, "What did you do to my body?"
