Super God Grandmaster

Chapter 14: Chapter 13: Inviting the Devil into Body

Haotian and Jingxing, staggering along the path were leading the way. The two of them were jesting and though the sky had already turned dark, there were lanterns along the road.

Jingxing said, "See you tomorrow."

"Okay, see you tomorrow," Ye Chen replied.

"If you're interested in lionesses, just take her directly to your courtyard."

Ye Chen smiled faintly, glanced at Laosan, and said, "Don't worry. I won't."

They parted at a crossroads, with Haotian and Jingxing going one way.

This left Ye Chen and Shizi going in a separate direction.

Ye Chen said, "You're a girl, but you imitate others by drinking alcohol. It's not like you got your heart broken."

"Why can't I do that!" Shizi, her face flushed, shouted back. At this point, the alcohol was starting to kick in, making her quite unsteady.

"You can, but you're lucky you ran into me. I'm a good person; I won't take advantage of you. Someone else would just find a bush."

Shizi, still mostly sober, yelled, "You innocent young man, what could you possibly do to me."

"Stop calling me an innocent young man. I'm warning you, push me too far, and I'll take you to a bush."

"Then I'll keep calling you that, how about that? Little Hua...my Little Hua…"

Ye Chen was so angry he couldn't get his words out, yelled, "From now on, I'm going to call you a female sex ghost."

"You dare!"

"If you dare to call me an innocent young man, I'll call you a female sex ghost."

Shizi had really pushed Ye Chen's buttons, she found it amusing.

Ye Chen hadn't drunk much. He might have had quite a bit, but his tolerance was good, so he was not affected.

"Hey, I don't know which courtyard you live in. Point me to it. You should remember where you live, right? Otherwise, I might have to take you back to my courtyard."

Around them, everything became somewhat quiet. The effect of the alcohol slowly crept up, causing a sense of haziness.

Shizi said, "Jingyue Pavilion."

"You'll be better off going home with me."

"In your dreams." Fewer and fewer people were on the road, the further they went, the quieter it became.

Suddenly, there was a voice, "Shizi."

Ye Chen was supporting Shizi and continued to wander forward. Shizi now began to act drunk.

"Hey, what are you doing!" Bi Chun hurried over as if she'd caught a wolf in the act.

"Hurry over here. Your lady is drunk."

"Did you get her drunk?"

Ye Chen quickly explained, "No, I didn't. We had dinner at Zhan Ze's place. Your Shizi got excited all of a sudden wanting to drink, as if she'd just been through a heartbreak. We tried to stop her, but we couldn't. I live in Pear Blossom Garden, so I was just taking her back home on the way."

Bi Chun stared at Ye Chen and yelled, "It's you who's heartbroken."

"Don't look at me. I didn't do anything to her. She is not my type."

"Who... whose type are you? You should be grateful if anyone is interested in you, yokel."

"Yeah, yeah, you're right. I'm a yokel. Are you going to help or not?" Why did everyone look down on him?

Bi Chun rushed over.

"Good. I didn't do anything to her. I will leave her to you. Whatever happens to her, it's your responsibility."

"Shizi, why did you drink so much?"

Laughing, Shizi said, "I didn't drink much. Just a little bit." She was now slurring her words.

"She seems to have had a heartbreak. You should take care of her. Don't let her lose her virtue," Ye Chen said.

Upon hearing this, Bi Chun yelled urgently, "You bad guy, you must be up to something."

"Whoever has a broken heart, it's none of my business."

"I think I can fly." Shizi was now hallucinating.

"Indeed, you're almost a fairy."

Bi Chun kicked Ye Chen away.

Ye Chen's mother was actually waiting for him in the courtyard.

Fearing that his mother would smell the alcohol on him, Ye Chen decided to go back to his room.

"Hehe, didn't you see me?"

Ye Chen quickly stopped, smiled faintly, looked a bit surprised, then walked over and said, "Mother, you're not asleep yet?"

"You don't have to come back for dinner."

Ye Chen hurriedly explained, "I really forgot. I had dinner at Zhan Ze's. Everyone was busy there, so I just had dinner and then came back."

"Why didn't you come back and tell me?"

"I was going to, but then I forgot. Honestly."

"Forgotten? I think you would forget your own mother soon."

"No way, not possible."

Suddenly, she seemed to smell the alcohol. She had a sharp nose and yelled, "You've been drinking, right?"

"No, it wasn't me who was drinking. It was someone else. I helped them home and just got it on me," Ye Chen explained.

Ye Xue stood up and came over, sniffing.

"Hehe, you think you can deceive me."

"I only drank a little."

"What don't you learn, at such a young age you're learning to drink."

"I won't do it again, never again."

"You've said that many times."

Ye Chen really didn't know what to say anymore.

"Hold out your hand."

"Mother…"

"Didn't you hear me?"

"I heard you."

"Well then, hurry up."

Both his palms were now outstretched.

With the disciplinary ruler, she smacked his hands. Ye Chen wanted to withdraw in pain, but he gritted his teeth and bore it.

"Do you know your mistake!"

"I know, I was wrong."

Two more strikes were given, and she said, "What good don't you learn, and yet you've learned to drink."

Ye Chen closed his eyes.
