On the network of the Celestial Court, Lin Shen saw many things that surprised him.

The Celestial Court was much larger than he had imagined; the Ancient Realm area he was in was just on the edge of the South Star District, which was one of the six great star regions of the Celestial Court.

There were countless numbers of such Ancient Realm areas on the fringes of the Celestial Court.

The Celestial Court was the center of the universe, with the Ancient Realm area merely being a minor addition.

The Celestial Court was divided into six great star regions: Central Heaven Star Region, Houtu Star Region, South Star Region, North Star Region, East Star Region, and West Star Region.

Each star region was ruled by an ultimate powerhouse, and the ruler of the Central Heaven Star Region was also the ruler of the entire Celestial Court.

Lin Shen was very familiar with the name of the ruler of the Celestial Court, for it was the Jade Emperor, who had voluntarily become Lin Shen's Guardian Spirit, yet Lin Shen could never quite recall his name.

Within the Celestial Court, Immortal Creatures were essentially the lowest level of beings.

Even a newborn infant inherently possessed the power of Law.

However, here, the power of Law was not called by that name, but was known as Aberrant Trait.

All Divine Beings in the Celestial Court descended from those ancient beings of incomparable existence, and the strength of their bloodlines was beyond what Lin Shen, a man from the Ancient Realm Area, could comprehend.

However, there was also a distinction in the quality of Divine Beings, broadly classified into three grades: upper, middle, and lower Divine Beings. Most Divine Beings were born as Lower Divine Beings, and by cultivating divine skills, one could elevate their rank.

Even among Lower Divine Beings, there were differences based on Aberrant Traits.

Common Divine Beings, Earth-tier Divine Beings, and Heaven-tier Divine Beings—Lin Shen roughly understood that these so-called three different ranks of Divine Beings corresponded to three different law hierarchies: Human Law Immortals, Earth Law Immortals, and Heaven Law Immortals, the latter being the Dharma Kings of the Ancient Realm.

Middle Divine Beings were on another level entirely, and Lin Shen still hadn't figured out the qualitative differences between them.

Like in the Ancient Realm, Common Divine Beings were the most common, Earth-tier Divine Beings were somewhat numerous, and Heaven-tier Divine Beings were extremely rare.

Unlike in the Ancient Realm, even though Heaven-tier Divine Beings were rare, they did not exist like Dharma Kings where each family could only have one; in one family, there could be several Heaven-tier Divine Beings without conflict.

The grades of Deformed Species also corresponded to those of Divine Beings, also categorized into upper, middle, and lower grades, but not classified as Human, Earth, or Heaven.

Deformed Species were divided into common, mutated, and Divine Beasts, which also corresponded to the three laws: Human, Earth, and Heaven.

Above the Upper Divine Beings and Divine Beasts, there were more advanced lifeforms, known as Ultimate Divine Beings or Ultimate Divine Beasts, Ultimate Creatures.

However, the number of Ultimate Gods was extremely rare. Apart from the rulers of the six great star regions, there weren't many Ultimate Gods in the Celestial Court, and they seldom appeared in the great star regions.

Duo was looking for the legendary Ultimate Creature White Tiger, of which there was no visual data available, and it was unknown if anyone had truly seen it.

Lin Shen estimated that his own strength was quite decent among Lower Divine Beings; in a real fight, he might have a chance of winning against a Lower Divine Being.

"No wonder Tianshu was able to injure the Divine Being who guided him into the Celestial Court after surging in; that must have been just a Lower Divine Being," Lin Shen thought as he was contemplating, when suddenly he saw a familiar face in the news.

"It's Duo!" Lin Shen was somewhat surprised, not expecting to see Duo in the news.

Soon, Lin Shen knew the true identity of Duo; he was the sixth son of the Clan Leader of the Sun-Chasing Clan, one of the two great Divine Being families in the Central Heaven Star Region.

The news showed Duo following the Clan Leader to meet another Divine Being family, a family Lin Shen was also familiar with— the Yitian Clan, which possessed the Sun-shooting Great Method.

Duo attended the meeting with the Clan Leader not because he was more favored than other children, but because he was the one chosen to marry into the Yitian Clan.

The marriage between the two great families of the Central Heaven Star Region was a major event that shook the entire Celestial Court, and it was being discussed in all the great star regions, making it easy for Lin Shen to see as well.

Lin Shen could tell that Duo was someone with status, never expecting that his status would be so significant.

According to the news, the Sun-Chasing Clan and Yitian Clan were two great forces that used to restrain each other, often clashing over interests.

This sudden marriage between the two families had everyone secretly speculating whether there would be any changes in the structure of the Central Heaven Star Region.

Lin Shen's understanding of the Celestial Court and Divine Beings was only superficial; he couldn't guess what was really going on.

Lin Shen had wanted to find an opportunity to teleport away, but discovered that his mechanical wristwatch was still being disrupted during the spaceship's flight, rendering it unusable.

The two impostors, each with their own thoughts on a spaceship, were headed towards an unpredictable future aboard the Chrysanthemum.

It didn't take long for Little Jade to let the steward switch to autopilot; he was absorbed in watching the news himself.

Having watched a lot of news, Lin Shen realized it was not as difficult to pretend to be a Divine Being as he had thought.

Among the many Ancient Realms, very few were capable of physically entering the Celestial Court, so Lin Shen, with a physical body, was almost indistinguishable from Divine Beings as long as he didn't expose himself.

This gave Lin Shen the feeling of being an undercover agent infiltrating the enemy lines, striving to understand the Celestial Court as much as possible; even if he returned to the Ancient Realm later, he would still have to deal with the trouble of the Celestial Court.

He himself did not currently need to worry about the death ordeal, but Tian Xun was already an Immortal, who must undergo the death ordeal.

If Tian Xun couldn't survive it and had to choose to rush into the Celestial Court, that wouldn't be good at all.

Those entering the Celestial Court from the Ancient Realm were basically the lowest layer of the Celestial Court; even beings as powerful as Emperor Tianshu remained unaccounted for now; Tian Xun could hardly be stronger than Emperor Tianshu, and her situation might be even worse if she came.

Lin Shen was somewhat glad now, glad that he had come to the Celestial Court first, glad he knew these things.

He had to find a way out for Tian Xun and his friends and family; he couldn't just let them be at the mercy of others once they arrived.

"Unfortunately, my Heaven Defying Bone isn't complete yet. The information about Heaven Defying Bone mentioned that it has the potential to evolve to the ultimate state of life; I wonder if it refers to Ultimate Creatures." Lin Shen thought about his nearly complete Heaven Defying Bone, resolving to somehow retrieve the Fire Seed from Long Yue and Ouyang Yudu's bodies when he returned.
