"Lin Shen, could your lies be any more fake?" Tian Xin pointed at little Yu, who was dressed in casual clothes and wearing a hat, and scoffed, "I bet this is your illegitimate child from outside. You actually dare to think about bringing him back under the guise of a pet."

"You can consider him my illegitimate child if you like," Lin Shen didn't argue and continued reading a book.

Little Yu was quite useful actually; even when there was no need to fight, he could still be used for fetching tea, cleaning, and doing other chores. Aside from his mouth, he was just like a normal person.

When there was no one else around, he could also keep Lin Shen company, chatting and relieving boredom, although what he said wasn't very pleasant to hear.

Lin Shen hoped to find a method for attaining Nirvana from the books. The effects of the Dark Domain Lotus Seed lasted at most a year, and in fact, after six months, the effects would seriously diminish. It was best to find the method for Nirvana quickly.

Tian Xin sized up little Yu and twisted her mouth, asking, "Kid, what's your name? Tell me the truth, is he your dad?"

Sitting on the sofa, little Yu turned to look at Tian Xin, sized him up and down, then turned away, neither speaking nor paying him any attention.

"Kid, I'm talking to you. What's with the attitude? Didn't your dad teach you any manners?" Tian Xin snapped angrily.

"He never taught me that, only taught me not to talk to those with IQ problems, as it would reduce my intelligence," little Yu said indifferently.

"You brat..." Tian Xin was furious and turned to Lin Shen, "He must be your real son, as annoying as you, I can't be wrong. Let me tell you, Lin Shen, I don't care how you mess around outside, but if you dare bring someone back to bother my niece and make her unhappy, I'll kill you."

"Barking dogs don't bite, and the louder they bark, the less likely they are to bite," little Yu chimed in from the side.

"Lin Shen, are you going to control your kid or not? If you do not, then I will," Tian Xin glared at Lin Shen.

"Go ahead, I can't control him," Lin Shen kept reading.

"Fine, you said it yourself, don't blame me for bullying your son. I don't believe this evil; I can't deal with you, but I can't handle your kid?" Tian Xin said as his figure suddenly flashed over to little Yu, reaching out to grab his collar and lift him up.

His hand shot out fast but retracted even faster, accompanied by a screamed.

Little Yu raised his hand, and a white jade fruit fork appeared in front of Tian Xin's palm. Tian Xin's hand, swift as lightning, couldn't retract in time and smashed into the little fork, piercing into his flesh, causing Tian Xin to scream in pain and recoil as if electrocuted.

"F**k... you little bastard..." Enraged, Tian Xin raised his hand to slap little Yu, but he froze with his hand in the air.

Tian Xin incredulously looked at little Yu, unable to believe that this was just a human child.

But how could a human child have such speed and strength to drive a fruit fork, from who-knows-where, through his palm?

You should know that he was already a Nirvana Being; a child's strength should not be able to hurt him.

"Tell me honestly, what kind of partner have you found to have such a deadly child? Could your partner be of the Supreme Clan, and the child born is already at Ascension Level?" Tian Xin still couldn't believe this was just a pet.

He just thought Lin Shen had climbed another high branch and found a higher lineage woman to bear such a child.

"Is your brain filled with water?" Lin Shen was somewhat speechless, not understanding what Tian Xin was getting at.

"Angry out of embarrassment... I must have hit the nail on the head, right?" Tian Xin immediately assumed he had guessed correctly.

"His brain isn't waterlogged; it's just originally small," little Yu manipulated the small fork in his hand.

"You brat, I haven't gone all out on you because of my kind heart, and you really think I can't handle you? It seems today I must teach you a lesson, so you know how high the sky is and how thick the earth is..." Tian Xin was so furious he didn't waste more words and like lightning reached for little Yu's head.

He was known for his speed, and his attack was truly as fast as lightning. Even an Ascender could hardly react in time to avoid being grabbed by the head.

Little Yu was not an Ascender, so he reacted, and the small fork again appeared on the must-pass path of Tian Xin's palm. If Tian Xin continued this move, the fork would again pierce through.

Tian Xin's palm shifted, dodging the small fork like a lightning bend, reaching from another direction toward little Yu's head.

Tian Xin was still holding back, but with this strike, he found the small fork appearing again in front of his palm.

Shocked, Tian Xin changed his technique again; in the blink of an eye, he changed his technique over a dozen times, but each time the little fork appeared right in front of his palm, forcing him to retract and switch positions.

Tian Xin's techniques grew faster and faster, almost no longer holding back, yet still not faster than little Yu, with that small fork accurately blocking every time.

Tian Xin stepped back a few steps, shocked and incredulously staring at little Yu, "Really a pet? At Nirvana Level?"

"Didn't I tell you already?" Lin Shen said lazily.

"This is unscientific, how can a pet have a flesh-and-blood body and even talk like a human..." Tian Xin was increasingly astonished.

Although he hadn't used his real strength, little Yu's speed was enough to surprise him.

His Speed Attribute had already reached the pinnacle of Nirvana, and little Yu was obviously faster, which was highly unscientific.

"How should I know, he hatched out like this," Lin Shen said.

Tian Xin, amazed, circled little Yu, marveling more and more at this peculiar pet, "What ability is he good at?"

"Good at killing," little Yu didn't wait for Lin Shen to speak, but said it himself.

"Has personality, I like it. Lin Shen, why don't you just transfer him to me, to avoid people misunderstanding that you have an illegitimate child? It's fine for me; I can handle it," Tian Xin's eyes roved as he spoke.

"You ask him if he wants to follow you, I don't mind," Lin Shen smiled.

"That's what you said, don't regret it," Tian Xin turned to little Yu with a big smile, "Little buddy, we need to get to know each other again. My name is Tian Xin, the future successor of the Tian Family, one of the three great Celestial Families, with a wealthy foundation and incredible resources. If you follow me, you'll have whatever you want, Nirvana whenever, Immortality whenever..."

"Have whatever I want?" Little Yu looked at Tian Xin with interest.

"Yes, whatever you want, just say it," Tian Xin smiled.

"Then can you get some shame?" Little Yu slowly said.
