Moreover, the starlit dust grew more abundant, actually encircling the Ghost Queen.

Just as Lin Shen was about to rush into the cave, the Asura Ghost King and Asura Ghost Queen let out shrill ghostly screams.

The Ghost Queen thrust her trident into the air, and the surrounding starlit dust converged towards her trident, draining the energy from the dust, which instantly turned into real dust and scattered on the ground.

In contrast, a bright white light emanated from the trident, and a white halo appeared all around the Ghost Queen, almost giving off a Buddhist light.

On the Ghost King's side, the ghostly faces on the Ghost Shield shone with red light from their eyes, making Di Esi and Bing Leiya feel as though their bodies became heavier, their Attributes and skills weakened even further.

However, they were mentally prepared and would not let the Ghost King and Ghost Queen rush back into the cave no matter what.

They tried their best to seal off all the routes back to the cave, but they were somewhat surprised to find that the Ghost King and Ghost Queen were not charging towards the cave, but at each other instead.

Di Esi and Bing Leiya hadn't expected this move and were unprepared. Although they sensed something bad was about to happen, it was too late to stop it.

When the Ghost King and Ghost Queen collided, everyone witnessed a bizarre scene.

As they charged at each other at high speed and their bodies collided, their speeds remained unaffected.

But instead of the anticipated crash, their bodies eerily merged into one, with the Ghost King and Ghost Queen fusing into a single Asura Ghost, half black and half white.

The Asura Ghost had the beautiful face of a woman on one side and the grotesque face of a ghastly man on the other.

The body was also half white and half black, one side resembling mutton-fat white jade while the other was like ink-black jade, reminiscent of a pieced-together black and white enforcer of the underworld.

Even more eerie was that while other parts of their bodies had merged, the arms had not fully fused, resulting in a four-armed being, each arm holding a Life Base.

With the small and large swords accompanied by a shield and trident, there was an indescribably strange feeling.

The ghostly face on the Ghost Shield now not only had red eyes but had turned entirely red, its mouth open as if it were laughing dreadfully.

Di Esi and Bing Leiya immediately felt their bodies grow even heavier as they became further weakened.

"Damn... When this thing merged into one, even the skill effects got stronger..." Bing Leiya was shocked. The Thunder Dragon Fist Force he wielded looked nothing like a dragon now but rather like a little snake or eel, tiny and with no presence of force.

Di Esi's starlight dust had also become faint, flickering like fireflies, no longer the bright starlight of before.

Seeing the Asura Ghost turning to rush toward the mountain cave, Bing Leiya and Di Esi burst forth with their combined strength. Bing Leiya activated his Arm Guard and Power of Nirvana, and with the technique of Penetrating Dragon Fist, he mustered all his strength to unleash a green Thunder Dragon.

However, with a mere swing of its giant blade, the Asura Ghost decapitated the significantly smaller Thunder Dragon.

A holy radiance ascended from Di Esi's body, and in an instant, myriad starlight almost lit up the entire valley. Even within the Asura Ghost's body, starlight dust appeared.

The myriad starlight surged towards the Asura Ghost like a galaxy.

The Asura Ghost thrusted his Ghost Fang Trident into the void, and all the starlight dust converged towards the trident in his hand.

In an instant, all the starlight was absorbed onto the trident, forming a ball-like glow skewered on it.

Then, with a casual flick, the Asura Ghost sent the ball-like glow flying towards Di Esi at an inconceivable speed.

Di Esi's expression subtly changed, and suddenly his figure dispersed into starlight. The ball-like glow passed through the dispersed starlight and hit a distant mountain peak.

The rocks on Ghost Gate Star were incredibly hard, and even the Power of Nirvana found it difficult to cause substantial damage to them.

A full-force strike from a Top Nirvana Cultivator could at most shatter a stone as tall as a person—that was almost the limit.

Yet that ball-like glow directly blew up the mountain peak. The Nirvana Creatures that had been watching from the mountain scattered like startled birds, taking flight in all directions.

With the ground shaking and the mountains swaying, under the astonished gazes of many Nirvana Beings, the mountain peak collapsed. The blown-off summit crashed into an adjacent mountain, breaking it apart as well. The thunderous noise was ceaseless.

Fear gripped everyone's hearts. Such fearsome destructive power had never been seen in Nirvana Creatures before.

And this power wasn't even the Asura Ghost's own—it was merely a counterattack using Di Esi's strength.

Di Esi, whose figure had dispersed into starlight, appeared to the left of the cave, while Bing Leiya ran to the right. The two, one on each side, unleashed powerful forces aimed at the Asura Ghost, who was about to rush into the cave.

Thunder Dragons roared and dust flowed like a starry river. Terrifying forces from both left and right bombarded the Asura Ghost.

However, in an instant, the Asura Ghost's form, as if activating an accelerator, disappeared just before the two forces were about to touch him.

Di Esi and Bing Leiya hadn't expected the Asura Ghost to vanish suddenly and couldn't control their powers in time. The two terrifying forces collided, causing a massive explosion.

Thunder and light explosions erupted continuously. The shockwaves sent both of them retreating uncontrollably, and it was too late to pursue the Asura Ghost.

The figure of the Asura Ghost, trailing afterimages, burst into the cave. Di Esi and Bing Leiya's expressions changed as they stabilized themselves and hurriedly charged toward the cave.

"I never imagined that the Ghost King and Ghost Queen could actually merge. The Asura Ghost, after the fusion, is no longer an entity that Nirvana Level beings can match. The one who rushed into the cave is probably doomed," Feng Feitian said.

Huang Feiwu nodded and said, "The deeper you go into the cave, the heavier and more chilling the air becomes; it can almost freeze a person solid. Fortunately, I only encountered the Asura Ghost Queen back then. Had I met this merged Asura Ghost, I wouldn't have even had the chance to escape."
