"Why do I feel like what she's talking about seems to be some sort of real creature, not just an abstract concept?" Lin Shen felt something was amiss.

"Maybe it's just her anthropomorphic way of narrating," Tian Buluo reasoned after some thought.

For example, in the myths of my homeland, thunder and lightning are controlled by the Lord of Thunder and the Lady of Lightning," speculated Lin Shen, and he continued, "If the Heaven and Celestial Beings Skill was initially communicating not with the order of the universe but with an entity that holds the Rules/Laws, wouldn't that make it easier to explain why the higher stages are called the God Ghost Realm?"

"I've thought about this problem too. Even if there is your Lord of Thunder and Lady of Lightning, they are still the personifications of the laws of thunder and lightning.
