"Wu Qing, it seems you are overthinking it. Tian couldn't possibly be related to the people from the Ancient Realm area," Liu Siming said to Wu Qing beside him as he watched Lin Shen and the other three Divine Beings chatting and laughing at the Southern Heaven Gate through the surveillance monitor.

Wu Qing was also staring at Lin Shen, his face showing no change in expression: "This only proves that he has no relationship with this person; it doesn't mean he's not from the Ancient Realm area."

"You aren't thinking of testing another person from the Ancient Realm area, are you? This kind of method can't be repeated. Moreover, these several powerful fellows all come from the same Ancient Realm area. Beings like them are surely famous like deities within that realm, and it's impossible they wouldn't recognize each other," Liu Siming said.

"What I mean is, Tian might come from another Ancient Realm area," Wu Qing said.

"Old Wu, I have to say, if you lose in that kind of competition, then you lose; let the kids sort it out themselves. Encountering some setbacks isn't a bad thing; there's no need to take it so seriously," Liu Siming still felt that Wu Qing targeting Lin Shen carried a hint of personal grudge.

Wu Qing looked at Lin Shen in the surveillance, without further explanation, but one could tell from his eyes that he was not ready to let Lin Shen go so easily.

"Have you discussed with the Great Emperor what to do with those two who arrived in the flesh? Are they going to be sent to the Immortal Capital the same as that guy who came in a Spiritual Body?" Liu Siming didn't dwell on the previous issue, but asked instead.

"There was no divine decree," Wu Qing said.

"What do you mean by no divine decree? Does that mean the Great Emperor had no divine decree to send them to the Immortal Capital, or there was no divine decree to release them?" Liu Siming didn't quite understand what that meant.

"I communicated with the Great Emperor, but there was no response," Wu Qing said pensively.

"No response? What does that mean?"

"I don't know."

"So what's to be done with these two people exactly? Are they to be sent to the Immortal Capital or not?" After thinking for a bit, Liu Siming said: "That's right, the previous people all entered the Celestial Court in their Spiritual Bodies and were sent to the Immortal Capital. These two, however, have intruded in the flesh, which is a rare precedent. Speaking of which, even our Ancestors came from the Ancient Realm area just like them, entering the Celestial Court in the flesh. Perhaps we should make them a part of the Celestial Court, granting them official status."

"Setting aside the fact that they killed the Divine Officials guarding the gate, which is already a violation of the Celestial Court's laws, even without these incidents, have you forgotten the lesson from that previous man? They come from the same Ancient Realm area," Wu Qing said with a cold face.

Liu Siming chuckled and said, "I've been short on manpower recently, why not give them to me as my test subjects?"

"That's fine," Wu Qing thought about it and nodded: "But you have to be careful not to let them escape."

"Old Wu, you underestimate me. If I let these two youngsters slip away right under my nose, then I've lived these years for nothing," Liu Siming laughed.

Wu Qing had made his comment casually; he didn't really believe that Di Esi and the others could escape from Liu Siming's grasp.

Originally about to leave, Wu Qing seemed to recall something, turned his head back to Liu Siming and said, "Tian has also made a contribution this time; he deserves some reward. No need to leave him guarding the Southern Heaven Gate. Aren't you short of manpower? Let him go and be a guard at your place."

He knew what Wu Qing meant; by transferring Tian to his post as a guard, allowing Tian to see those two as test subjects would reveal any connection to them in time.

Although Liu Siming thought Wu Qing's arrangements were somewhat superfluous—if Lin Shen really knew them, he wouldn't have been so ruthless at the Southern Heaven Gate just now.

"Whether I guard one gate or another, it's all the same, the Azure Sky Realm isn't mine," Lin Shen replied, still unmoved.

"It's actually quite different. Not to mention the higher welfare at Azure Sky Realm, there's a special privilege..." a guard squinted his eyes and said, "That's where the Immortal Pills are researched."

"Immortal Pills?" Lin Shen looked puzzled.

"Simply using Aberrant Liquid is not very effective, and higher-level Divines cannot use low-quality Aberrant Liquid without harming their bodies, or worse, causing mutations. The Azure Sky Realm is where they study how to synthesize and utilize Aberrant Liquid. The Immortal Pills they create may even allow a Lower Divine Being to directly ascend to Middle or even Upper status in a short period..." the folks spoke of the Immortal Pills as if they were magical.

Of course, such Immortal Pills have nothing to do with a mere guard, but the Azure Sky Realm often distributes some ordinary pills as welfare, which greatly benefits cultivation.

Quite a few Advanced Star Divine Officials were keen to work in the Azure Sky Realm; it truly is considered a good posting.
