Chapter 6: Strongest Gacha God ch6 Greatest mistake.

[Summon had been heard]

[Congratulations by a twist of fate, the gods have rewarded you an Advanced ranked Summon.]

[The Summon, the harbinger of misfortune, Fortune had formed a bond with the user.]

As Felix knelt on the ground, his gaze landed on a black furrycat that sat before him and stared back at him with it's obsidian hollow eyes.

It's stare was creep and nothing short of chilling. His body actively rejecting the creature twisted a bit as he grasped his face with both palms.

"Of every creature in existence why did it have to be a black... fucking cat."

In an ironic twist of fate, misfortune had literally landed him Misfortune.

Felix hadn't been much of a superstitious person but after dying, transported to another world and having to fend for him life against a giant lizard.

He was being to believe superstition were infact real hence that black cat was nothing but bad luck in his eyes.

"Meow!"

With his gacha session now over and the rest of his banner points too little for a ten roll, he found himself back in the cold desert but this time he wasn't alone as his summon leaped foward and landed in his shoulder.

[Summon: Fortune]

[Rank: Advanced]

[Skill: Lucky bomb, Black cat]

A strange sync was formed between him and the cat causing it's stats to be displayed to him.

"Would you look at that. It's pretty impressive."

Growing warmer to the cat after reading it's first skill, he nudge it's jaw causing it's body to responded with a pleasant meow.

"Now the next one."

[Black Cat]

[Skill details:True to it's legend, the furry ball of cuteness can bring about misfortune and even calamity to those it's crosses paths with.]

[Condition: Contact much be initiated and the user must have experienced danger.]

"So I have to be in danger for you to use this one."

A bit disappointed he couldn't control the effects, he shoulders dropped. This feeling of dejection mostly came from the fact that he didn't want to endanger himself when he was so weak.

After gaining a basic ran through of what his summon did, he came to the verdict; it was a glass cannon.

It lacked firepower and a single flick to it's head denoted it also lacked durability.

It was weak and fragile like a normal cat but it made up for it with it's insane skills.

"You're not so bad."

Running his fingers through the cat's fur, it purred in responds leaning even closer.

Watching it snuggled onto him, his stern exterior melted away to gave birth to a warm smile.

"It's pretty cute." He thought and slid down a slope.

The tiny claws of his summon extended and gripped the fabric of his clothing.

"Status."

Calling for his stats, a blue panel formed infornt of him.

Observing how little banner points he hand, he threw a question at the system," How does one gain banner points?"

[By killing monster.]

Felix showed a hint of surprise. In most gacha games he had played, he had to complete quests to gain currency to roll on gacha characters but here, it was pretty straightforward.

" I wonder if I'm now strong enough that kill that lizard."

Coming to a stop at the end of the slope, he contuined to walk foward, his green eyes narrowing and glowing faintly in the night.

Mana wasn't a foreign concept for him, he came from the modern era, a time were mana and even magic were closely linked in fiction.

How he could use mana was attributed to the world he was in along the [Mana circulation] skill.

Because of those two factors along most of the knowledge of mana he had from novels and anime, he began to wrap the mana around his body.

Like before it felt foreign and unnatural and yet he didn't fight it and merely embraced it.

Clothing him in it's transparent brilliance, his body lite up like a silver star in the vast dark expansion of space.

Strength suddenly surged within his body and all his senses one's dull grew vibrant.

"I can see further." He said in awe as the sceneries shifted rapidly from his gaze and he soon spotting a lizard remiscant of the one that had hunted him.

"Let's do a test drive."

Summoning his catapult and hanging the void pouch to his trousers, he opened it slightly, pushing his hand within and retriving a round pebble.

" Let's close in."

The creature was a far distance away and due to factors such as low visible he couldn't probably take aim.

So keeping his eyes glued to the lizard a fair distance from him,he moved with steady steps.

With the pebble placed within the pad, he pulled the rubberband back but didn't take aim, simply closing the gap between him and the lizard.

After a minute or preparation, he finally made it to a distance he would consider both safe and perfect to take aim and that he did.

The giant lizard had it's back turn to him but judging by how it's tail swayed back and forth like a lengthy worm, he concluded it wasn't sleeping but merely laying dormant awaiting a prey.

With both the pad and the rubberband of his catapult pulled back, he targeted one of it's back legs, precisely the joint.

Confident he wouldn't miss, his eyes glowed one's more and he redraw his grip of the pad, causing it to snap foward with an audible crack before launching the pebble in it at his target.

Soaring through the air like a bullet, his pebble hit right on mark, drilling itself into the lizard's right back kneel.
