"Just straddle it like you would a bicycle," Anna quickly adjusted to a side sitting position, making room in the front for him.

Yan Yu swiftly disengaged Sword Flight, executed the Cloud Dividing Eight Trigrams Step mid-air, and landed steadily at the front end of Anna's broom, straddling it.

Mei Yingxue's sword light trailed behind the broom, always maintaining a certain distance, neither too far nor too close. Yan Yu wasn't sure if Mei Yingxue could see Anna's actions, but he knew this golden retriever had grown wild in the North and was fearless and self-important; who knew what she might do.

"What's your relationship with that woman?" Anna predictably started to get jealous and asked with a hint of dissatisfaction.

"Colleagues," Yan Yu replied.

"Oh, colleagues," Anna asked with a mocking laugh, "Has your team gotten a new member?"

"No," Yan Yu explained, "You know I've become the Sword Holder, right? I've temporarily set aside the team matters and am currently on a special assignment. She's been directly assigned by the Privy Council just like me, as a partner for this mission."

"Hmph," Anna was still somewhat displeased but soon became elated.
