Starting with the Decade Driver, Messing with School Beauty

Chapter 67 - I Have No Limits!

Lin Zhendong gazed ahead, pondering for a moment. “Will compatibility affect the functionality of this Knight System?”

Gu Yu dared not conceal the truth and replied, “No one has used it yet, so it’s unclear for now. However, according to what Qing Mu said earlier, the higher the compatibility, the less strain it puts on the body when using this Knight System. Moreover, it can better unleash the system’s performance. That’s why I dared to come and discuss this matter with Minister Lin. From any perspective, Miss Qianqian, with extremely high compatibility, is the best candidate for this Knight System.”

“If that’s the case…” Lin Zhendong hesitated slightly. “I understand. You can go for now, and I’ll discuss this matter with Qianqian to see how she feels about it. If she’s willing, I’ll have her come find you.”

“Alright, Minister Lin,” Gu Yu said and took his leave.

As long as Lin Zhendong didn’t outright refuse, there was room for negotiation.

After Gu Yu left, Lin Zhendong took out his phone and sent a message to Lin Qianqian, asking her to call him back when she had a moment.

Not long after, Lin Qianqian’s phone rang.

“Dad, what’s up?”

“Qianqian, go find Qing Mu and ask if there are any side effects to the Knight System he sold us. Find out if there are any adverse effects from long-term use, and make sure to get all the details. Also, he has some extra cards, right? I want to buy those as well.”

“Got it, Dad. I’ll go find Qing Mu now, and I’ll call you back once I have the information.”

“Alright, go ahead.”

He hung up the phone, patiently waiting for his daughter to bring back the news.

After hanging up the phone, Lin Qianqian immediately called Qing Mu.

At this moment, Qing Mu was engaged in combat training with Li Ling’er and Tian Mi.

Using the power of Kamen Rider Agito Ground Form, he dominated both Li Ling’er and Tian Mi, leaving them with no room for resistance.

They could only endure the onslaught.

However, following the principle of gradual progress, Qing Mu did not go too hard on them, being somewhat gentle.

“Ring~ Ring~ Ring~…”

The sudden phone ringing briefly distracted Qing Mu.

Tian Mi seized the opportunity, her Storm Halberd heading straight for Qing Mu.

“Hehehe! Today, I must land a hit on you!”

After training for a while without touching Qing Mu even once, she had been holding back her frustration.

Now, with this rare chance, she couldn’t afford to miss it.

Battles were unpredictable.

No one knew what unexpected events might occur in combat.

Although it was somewhat unsportsmanlike, she couldn’t worry about that right now.

“Tian Mi, your tricks won’t work on me.”

Qing Mu snapped back to attention, leaned backward, effortlessly evading Tian Mi’s attack. He then casually grabbed the shaft of the Storm Halberd, exerted force, and forcefully snatched it from Tian Mi’s hand.

“Swish!”

The Storm Halberd swung and wielded.

The raging power of the hurricane scattered in all directions.

Li Ling’er and Tian Mi were both knocked down by the mighty force of the hurricane, lying on the ground.

After defeating the two of them, Qing Mu tossed aside the Storm Halberd and said with a smile, “Alright, let’s take a break. I need to take a call, and then we can continue playing later.”

In that previous battle, Qing Mu hadn’t been serious at all. He was merely testing their strengths to tailor their training accordingly. If the intensity was too low, it would be ineffective, and if it was too high, he feared he might accidentally harm them. Training others wasn’t an easy task.

“Understood, go ahead,” Tian Mi said, feeling like her world was spinning, her head spinning.

Being defeated using her own specialty, the power of the storm, was a great humiliation for her. Tian Mi vowed to turn this indignity into motivation, striving to gain such formidable strength herself one day.

Qing Mu walked to the side, took out his phone, and answered the call.

“Hello, Qing Mu, where are you? Why did it take you so long to answer?”

“I’m outside, got caught up in something. What do you need?”

“Well, my dad asked me to inquire about any side effects or hidden drawbacks of the Knight System you sold to us.”

“None at all. Didn’t I already tell you? This Knight System is virtually free from side effects. The only requirement is that the user must have an extremely high compatibility with the system. There’s nothing else to worry about.”

Qing Mu answered with great certainty.

The Blay Buckle was considered a very safe Knight System. Even though Kamen Rider Gills had boasted about his body being perfectly fine, nothing had actually happened to him.

But it was just his own fear.

Kamen Rider Blade’s user, Kazuki Kazuma, had no issues during the initial use of this Knight System in battles; everything was normal. It was only later, due to prolonged battles in Emperor Form, that his body accumulated too much Undead energy, eventually transforming him into a Joker Undead.

However, Qing Mu didn’t believe that Yancheng Defense Base could develop the ability to evolve into the Emperor Form, so he didn’t bother telling them. He didn’t want them to think he was intentionally causing harm.

“That’s good to hear. Oh, Qing Mu, my dad also wants to buy the remaining Rouse Cards from you. When are you available? We can arrange a meeting.”

“Buy the remaining Rouse Cards from me?” Qing Mu’s interest was piqued. “Have you found suitable users?”

If they hadn’t found suitable users, why would Lin Zhendong send Lin Qianqian to inquire about this and buy the cards from him? Qing Mu speculated that Yancheng Defense Base had indeed found suitable users but still had doubts, which is why they were confirming with him.

Lin Qianqian replied without hesitation, “Professor Gu Yu has been conducting tests all over the base these past few days, trying to find the best fit for this Knight System. Even I was tested. However, I don’t know for sure whether they’ve found someone suitable or not.”

“I see. Okay then, come to my place tonight, and I’ll sell you the cards. I can also explain the abilities of each card to you. I’m a person of integrity, and my after-sales service is top-notch. You won’t need to figure out the effects of each card on your own, saving you time.” Qing Mu felt a hint of excitement at the prospect of earning more money.

“Thank you so much. I’ll come see you tonight. Just make sure you don’t sleep like a log and can’t be awakened. Alright, bye.” Lin Qianqian hung up the phone.

She then sent a message to Lin Zhendong, informing him that the Knight System was confirmed to be safe without any side effects.

Lin Zhendong breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this news. However, he didn’t immediately tell Lin Qianqian about the conversation he had with Gu Yu. Instead, he planned to give his daughter a pleasant surprise.

Later on, Lin Qianqian would hold both the Zero-One Driver and the Blay Buckle, making her a woman with two belts, even though it was a bit extravagant. But she was his daughter, and he couldn’t resist indulging her.

Unaware of the new toy she was about to acquire, Lin Qianqian readily accepted the task.

After ending the call, Qing Mu went to find Tian Mi and Li Ling’er, continuing their special training for the day.

The three of them resumed their battles.

…………

In the evening, after Qing Mu had dinner with Li Ling’er and Tian Mi, he returned home, took a shower, changed into fresh clothes, and patiently awaited Lin Qianqian and Gu Yu’s arrival.

It was nearly ten o’clock when someone finally knocked on Qing Mu’s front door.

It was Lin Qianqian and Gu Yu.

“You’re a bit late. I was about to fall asleep,” Qing Mu said.

“I’m sorry; we got delayed by something,” Lin Qianqian apologized.

Ever since witnessing Qing Mu’s Muteki Gamer form, Lin Qianqian had immense respect for him and spoke in a hushed tone, mindful not to be too loud. The power was simply too overwhelming and terrifying, almost beyond human imagination. How could one not be polite to such a formidable individual? They didn’t want to provoke him into a battle.

“It’s alright, come in,” Qing Mu welcomed them into his home and poured hot water for both of them.

“Qing Mu, you probably already know why we’re here. Can we take a look at those Rouse Cards?” Gu Yu got straight to the point. He couldn’t wait to see what cards Qing Mu had in his possession.

Qing Mu had prepared in advance and displayed the pre-selected Rouse Cards to them, providing explanations.

“This is the ♠ King Evolution Caucasus card. Its effect is to enhance slashing power. This is the ♠ 3 Lion Rouse Cards, which enhances punching strength and punching speed. This is the ♠ 4 Boar Rouse Cards, which strengthens impact and ramming power…”

Qing Mu laid out all the Rouse Cards except for the ♠ King Evolution Caucasus, ♠ 10 Time Scarab Rouse Cards, ♣ 10 Mole Rouse Cards, and ♣ K Tarantula Rouse Cards. He introduced the rest of the cards to both of them.

Listening to the various and peculiar abilities possessed by these cards, Lin Qianqian was thoroughly impressed. She couldn’t help but exclaim, “Wow, these are amazing. If all these cards are used by one person, I can’t imagine how powerful they would become.”

After hearing about the cards’ incredible abilities, Gu Yu was both astonished and curious. He looked at Qing Mu with a skeptical gaze and asked, “Qing Mu, there should also be ♣ 10 and ♠ 10 cards, as well as the ♣ K and ♠ K cards, right? What abilities do these four cards have? Would you mind introducing them to me?”

People naturally feel curious about the unknown, especially intelligent individuals like Gu Yu.

Qing Mu intentionally concealed the abilities of the ♠ 10, ♠ K, ♣ 10, and ♣ K cards, which only heightened Gu Yu’s curiosity. He was eager to know what Qing Mu was hiding.

“Heh,” Qing Mu chuckled. “I won’t sell those four cards to you, no matter how much money you offer. So, knowing about them is useless, and there’s no need to know.”

“Well, saying that actually makes us even more curious. Can’t you give us a hint about what abilities those four cards have?” Lin Qianqian looked at Qing Mu with anticipation. Her curiosity was piqued, and she couldn’t resist wanting to know more.

Qing Mu’s words only fueled their curiosity further.

“I advise you not to know because I won’t sell them to you, even if you find out. Knowing won’t change anything,” Qing Mu emphasized.

The more Qing Mu resisted, the more Lin Qianqian and Gu Yu’s curiosity grew.

Gu Yu proposed, “Qing Mu, how about this? If you tell me the abilities of those four cards, within the bounds of ethics and morality, I can fulfill one condition of your choice. Just tell me, and it’s a deal.”

Qing Mu’s eyes shifted as he considered the offer.

“Since you put it that way, I’ll be a good sport and satisfy your curiosity.”

Qing Mu proceeded to explain the abilities of the four cards:

“The ♠ 10 card possesses the power of time control, allowing one to stop time throughout the entire world in an instant.”

“The ♣ 10 card can unseal monsters sealed within other sealed cards and make those monsters completely obedient, under the controller’s command.”

“Both the ♠ King and ♣ K cards have the same ability: they can merge the powers of all thirteen Rouse Cards in a series, creating the ultimate strength.”

After hearing Qing Mu’s explanations, Lin Qianqian and Gu Yu were left in astonishment. It became evident that these four cards were on a completely different level from the rest.

The abilities of these four cards were truly extraordinary.

The ♠ 10’s time-stopping ability was a realm completely unknown to humanity, something touched only by gods. Whoever could wield such power could almost be considered divine.

The ♣ 10’s ability to unseal and control Undead was extraordinary. With this card, one could effortlessly establish an Undead legion and command unimaginable power.

As for the ♠ King and ♣ K cards, their abilities were beyond words. The power to merge all thirteen Rouse Cards in a series to create the ultimate strength was a concept that left them speechless.

Although they didn’t fully comprehend what the “ultimate strength” entailed, even thinking about it with their common sense made it clear that it wouldn’t be lacking in any aspect.

After all, combining just thirteen cards was already impressive enough. The powers of these four cards, when contemplated, sent shivers down one’s spine.

Lin Qianqian finally managed to calm her excitement and curiosity a bit and asked, “So, Qing Mu, have you ever used the ♠ 10’s time-stopping power? Does it really grant the ability to control time?”

Qing Mu lifted the corner of his mouth slightly and said, “Let me put it this way: as long as I’m willing, I can completely freeze the entire world indefinitely.”

Dark Ruki Ail would be overjoyed if he heard this. He dreamed of creating an eternal, frozen world. He was even willing to lead his monster army to attack the Land of Light and turn all Ultramen and monsters into spark dolls for this purpose. The ability of this card was like a godsend to him.

“Qing Mu, what kind of power do you really possess?” Lin Qianqian felt like she was increasingly unable to comprehend Qing Mu. It seemed like the abilities and powers he wielded were ascending to the realm of the divine. Was he truly just an ordinary human? A regular college student?

Gu Yu exclaimed, “Qing Mu, you’ve truly expanded my horizons. After hearing what you’ve said, I realized that I was too conservative in the past. The potential for improvement in the Rider System is limitless. I used to be limited by human conventional thinking, but now I understand that as long as imagination knows no bounds, there should be no limits to the Rider System’s capabilities either.”

One’s perspective was essential. Only when one’s horizons expanded could they discover the multitude of possibilities.

After listening to Qing Mu’s words, it felt as if a door to a new world had opened for Gu Yu. Behind that door were countless ideas that he had never before considered, now beckoning to him.

“Alright, you know what you wanted to know, so let’s talk about the prices now. The abilities of these cards vary, so I want to sell them at different prices based on their capabilities…” Qing Mu then shared some of his price estimates with Gu Yu and Lin Qianqian.

Since he had never sold these items before, Qing Mu determined his prices based on his mood. The cheaper cards, like the ♣ 2 and ♠ 3, were priced at just over a million each. The more valuable JQ cards were sold for over ten million. The most expensive was the ♣ A, which had transformation abilities and was priced at over thirty million.

When all was said and done, these cards amounted to over a hundred million.
