Chapter 194: The Monster That Symbolizes Another World!
Although neither duelist really wanted this battle to happen,
for duelists, once they decide to duel, nothing can stop them.
"Kaiba hasn't looked this fired up in a long time."
Not far away, Yugi Muto peered through binoculars, catching the upward curl of Seto Kaiba's lips, and muttered softly.
"Mr. Yugi, is this really okay? Sensei—" Chazz Princeton couldn't help showing his concern.
"Chazz, we're talking about President Kaiba here—he's a legendary duelist. There's no way he'd turn down a challenge," Jaden Yuki said casually, hands behind his head.
Meanwhile, Hikaru Amagi noticed something—Kaiba had, at some point, prepared a custom D-Wheel in the style of Blue-Eyes White Dragon and was now confidently straddling it. Hikaru couldn't help but sigh.
Seto Kaiba wasn't as rigid as he looked. In fact, deep down, Kaiba was a supreme edgelord who loved crushing rookies.
In Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, when Jaden lost confidence after nearly losing his friends to the Shadow Riders, a mysterious "Kaibaman" appeared and dueled him, reminding him of true strength using a Blue-Eyes White Dragon deck.
Though students assumed Kaibaman was a Duel Monster spirit, he wore something no real Kaiba would: a card hanging around his neck like a necklace.
Yep—this was the real Seto Kaiba, a blend of melodrama, power tripping, and high-tech flexing.
On the other side, Jack Atlas had a rule of his own in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's:
Standing duels? Never loses.
But once he's on a D-Wheel? The man becomes a crash magnet.
VROOOM—
Their D-Wheels roared to life as both duelists sped down the track.
Same course as before. And while Kaiba was a natural genius, Jack still had far more time behind the wheel.
Jack grabbed the first turn once again.
"My turn!"
Jack drew a card.
Pressure already mounting in his chest.
The moment he saw Kaiba, he could feel it—a raw, unstable duelist's soul. It stirred something in him, something he hadn't felt in ages. An impulse he couldn't resist.
"I Normal Summon the Level 3 Tuner monster Phantom King Hyōki!"
He slammed a card into the D-Wheel.
Then raised another card.
"When I control a Tuner, I can Special Summon this from my hand—Level 3 Magical King Moonstar!"
As he shouted, a demonic rider and a crescent-faced fiend burst onto the field.
Time to Synchro.
"I tune Level 3 Phantom King with Level 3 Magical King Moonstar!"
The crescent demon became rings of light.
The rider split into stars.
"Celestial wolf of the burning skies, eyes of emerald solitude!
Shatter the earthbound chains of the toothless mongrel!
Synchro Summon!!
Appear! Tyrant Red Wolf!"
A three-headed demonic hound erupted from beneath the ground, galloping alongside Jack's speeding D-Wheel.
Tyrant Red Wolf – Level 6, DARK, Beast-Warrior, ATK 2400.
"I set two cards. Turn end!"
"Hmph. Barely passable," Kaiba muttered.
He tapped the throttle. Beep!
His Speed Counter increased by 1.
"My turn—draw!"
"I activate the Spell Card: Lottery Machine GO! GO!"
Jack raised an eyebrow. "Lottery Machine?"
"Choose three 'Blue-Eyes' monsters or Spells/Traps that mention Blue-Eyes White Dragon or Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Your opponent randomly picks one. The rest return to the Deck."
A massive lottery machine hovered above the track, spinning gently as the duel sped onward.
"Blue-Eyes White Dragon?!"
Jack's voice cracked in shock.
Not just him—gasps exploded across the stands.
"C-C-Could it be…?! That legendary monster—Blue-Eyes White Dragon—has returned to this world?!"
The MC screamed into his mic, voice nearly hoarse.
Even if this world lacked a KaibaCorp, Blue-Eyes White Dragon was the iconic card.
In every dimension, every duel, people lost their minds at the mere sight of a 3000 ATK monster.
It was meme-tier legendary.
Kaiba raised three cards:
Blue-Eyes Chaos Dragon, Abyssal Blue-Eyes Dragon, and Destruction Burst Stream.
They turned into orbs, merging into the lottery machine, which began to spin wildly.
"Call it—say 'Stop'!"
"Ugh…"
Jack felt pressure tightening around his chest.
Kaiba's presence was overwhelming, and he'd only played one card so far.
Still—no turning back now.
"STOP!"
Clack!
The machine halted. A single ball dropped from the chute.
Everyone held their breath.
Even Jack didn't dare exhale.
"Lucky bastard—I add Destruction Burst Stream to my hand!"
Phew.
At least it wasn't one of the big ones.
"Thought it ended there? Naive!"
Kaiba raised another card.
"I activate the Spell: Cards of Consonance!
I discard a Dragon-type Tuner monster with 1000 or less ATK to draw 2 cards!"
"Dragon Tuner…?"
Jack froze.
Where would Kaiba get a Tuner—unless…
"No way—don't tell me you've tapped into this world's power too—?!"
"That's exactly what I've done!"
Kaiba hurled a card into the grave.
"I discard The White Stone of Legend, and draw two!
Then White Stone's effect activates—when it's sent to the Graveyard, I add one Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my Deck to my hand!"
!!!
"I Normal Summon Kaibaman! Then activate his effect—tribute himself to Special Summon…"
"BEHOLD—MY LOYAL SERVANT!!"
"BLUE-EYES WHITE DRAGON!!"
ROOOOOAAAAAAR!!
The ultimate dragon descended!
Brilliant white scales, azure crystal eyes, radiant divine light—
This wasn't just a monster.
This was legend incarnate.
The symbol etched into every duelist's soul.
Blue-Eyes White Dragon – Level 8, LIGHT, Dragon, ATK 3000.
"This... this is the other monster that represents our world!
Open your eyes wide—
And feel its true majesty!"
