Chapter 35: Chapter 35: Alien Queen
Chapter 35: Alien Queen
The Creator was already the most dangerous prey the Predators could find, far surpassing the Alien Queen in lethality. Only the Alien Empress from the Xenomorph homeworld could compare; otherwise, the Creator's threat level was unparalleled.
Now, the Predator Elder had encountered a powerful target—someone who managed to kill the elite Predator Lone Wolf in a single strike, leaving him to die unwillingly.
It was true that Predators had relatively strong physiques, but even human tanks and artillery could threaten their lives. However, the key here was not the one-hit kill but the fact that Lone Wolf hadn't detected the enemy's presence or attack at all.
Even the stealthiest Aliens couldn't deceive an elite Predator's senses.
The Predator Elder felt an insatiable thirst and his blood boiled with excitement.
He immediately ordered a journey to Earth to retrieve Lone Wolf's corpse!
Little did he know, Lone Wolf's body had already been completely devoured by Chang Wei and had become part of his own.
---
On Chang Wei's side, after allowing the Predalien to escape, all remaining Aliens were eliminated.
"What incredible speed."
The Predalien, now locked onto by Chang Wei, had already fled over a hundred kilometers and entered another small town.
What ensued was the kind of uncontrollable chaos Predators dreaded. The pyramid incident from the past had similarly resulted in Aliens reaching the surface, leaving no choice but to detonate a nuclear bomb, destroying an entire civilization. That hunting ground had been abandoned, allowing humans to develop independently.
In just moments, the Predalien produced thousands of Xenomorphs and tens of thousands of Facehuggers. Wasn't this guy violating the law of energy conservation? How on earth did it manage such insane energy storage?
This showed how desperate the Predalien was to overwhelm Chang Wei's forces with sheer numbers and facilitate parasitism.
Unfortunately for it, every move was under the microscopic surveillance of Chang Wei's Blacklight Virus. Nothing could escape his grasp.
Chang Wei was curious to see if the Predalien could produce an Alien Queen. According to lore, if a Queen didn't exist, one Alien would evolve into a Queen.
However, even when the last Alien Queen was alive, the Predator Scar still carried an Alien Queen embryo, suggesting that Facehugger eggs were random.
What was Scar's situation anyway? Was it ambushed, parasitized, and then woke up with no memory of the event, thinking it was fine?
Or could the Alien Queen even implant eggs using its tail? After piercing Scar's chest, did it plant an egg?
Soon, Chang Wei noticed one Facehugger's egg was different—it was clearly a Queen egg judging by its size.
More importantly, the Predalien had cocooned itself. Was it still maturing and capable of further development?
Could it become as massive as the Alien Queen?
Gazing at the large cocoon, Chang Wei pondered. However, this wasn't his immediate priority. He needed to head to Antarctica and rescue the Alien Queen frozen in the ice. Relying solely on the Predalien and a juvenile Queen was too slow.
Given the choice, Chang Wei preferred the gene points provided by Aliens over humans.
---
Antarctica.
Beneath the icy ocean, life barely existed, but Chang Wei moved effortlessly. The Alien Queen could not reproduce in such an environment—it was frozen solid.
Unless it was in warmer waters, where the Queen might infect marine life and evolve into creatures like a Blue Whale Alien.
Diving about a kilometer underwater, Chang Wei found the frozen Alien Queen encased in ice, bound by chains and massive cylindrical objects.
"Found you."
Chang Wei smiled slightly, and his entire body began to heat up.
Nuclear energy surged within his cells, raising the temperature of the surrounding seawater.
Humanity's ultimate technique—boiling water with nuclear power!
And Chang Wei was a terrifyingly powerful humanoid nuclear reactor.
After outputting heat for a minute, the seawater began boiling, dispelling the surrounding cold. The ice encasing the Alien Queen quickly melted. As it thawed, the Queen regained consciousness and immediately let out a screech.
The scalding water seemed to have no effect on it. The Alien Queen struggled with all its might, breaking free from its chains and swimming upward. However, Chang Wei grabbed its tail with one hand.
"Not so fast!"
Suddenly, massive bubbles appeared around Chang Wei, creating a terrifying cavitation effect. The friction between his body and the seawater generated temperatures surpassing the sun. Although this lasted only a brief moment, it made Chang Wei feel a slight warmth—akin to an ordinary person stepping out into 50°C heat.
This phenomenon was merely a result of Chang Wei exerting force.
The Alien Queen shot upward at an incredible speed. As it broke through the surface, its speed slowed down, barely surviving the friction and resistance of the thousand-meter water column.
