Chapter 20: Vegeta Battles Super Android 17

Accompanied by the emotionless voices of the two Android 17s, they began merging together seamlessly, one standing in front of the other.

A dazzling light surrounded their bodies, and the crimson blood-red gleam in their eyes grew even brighter.

"Heh, now this is something worth anticipating!" Vegeta's lips curled into a smirk as he watched their fusion.

The energy fluctuations generated by the fusion of the two 17s caused the entire ground to sink, cracking it into a dense web of fissures.

As the earth trembled, more buildings collapsed, and the dazzling radiance gradually dimmed.

The fused form, Super Android 17, finally appeared before everyone's eyes. His height was noticeably taller, and even his hair had grown significantly longer.

"Damn it..." Trunks clenched his fists tighter, his frustration evident. The fused 17 was overwhelmingly powerful.

"Can Uncle Vegeta defeat this fused 17?" Gohan asked, his worried gaze turning to Vegeta.

"It worked!" Dr. Gero exclaimed in excitement as he turned to Dr. Myuu. "The ultimate android I've dreamed of has finally been born!"

Compared to Dr. Gero's enthusiasm, Dr. Myuu remained much calmer. He glanced coldly at Vegeta. "Heh, go ahead, Super 17!"

"Hmph, this one seems to have decent power," Vegeta said with an excited grin as he observed Super 17's form.

After all, the opponents he had faced earlier were nothing but trash. Now that Super 17 had emerged, Vegeta felt exhilarated.

Finally, he had an opportunity to showcase the true power of his Super Saiyan 4 form.

"Vegeta, you won't be thinking that for long..." Dr. Gero sneered contemptuously.

"The previous Android 17 was already a masterpiece, but now Super 17 is my ultimate creation!"

Vegeta couldn't care less about Dr. Gero's ramblings. He looked at Super 17 with excitement. "Come on, show me what you've got!"

"Gladly!" Super 17 replied with a wicked smirk as he launched himself toward Vegeta.

"Haahhh!"

Watching the relentless charge of Super 17, Vegeta didn't dare hold back. He let out a roar and transformed into his Super Saiyan 4 state, meeting the attack head-on with his fist.

Both fighters' fists collided simultaneously. Vegeta's face was filled with excitement, while Super 17's sinister smile stiffened slightly.

"Unexpected..." Super 17 sneered. "You're on par with Son Goku."

"Of course!" Vegeta withdrew his fist and struck out again, aiming for Super 17's cheek. "I'm way stronger than that Kakarot!"

Super 17 glanced at his slightly numbed arm. Taking advantage of Vegeta's opening, he delivered a punch to Vegeta's abdomen.

"Hmph!" Vegeta stumbled back a few meters before stabilizing himself. "It seems your strength isn't all that impressive!"

Despite his words, Vegeta wasted no time. Raising his arm, he unleashed a powerful energy blast at Super 17.

The roaring energy wave shot toward Super 17, but to everyone's shock, the android absorbed the attack with his right hand!

"What's going on?" Trunks exclaimed in disbelief. "Dad's energy was absorbed?"

"No energy attacks!" Piccolo said coldly.

Gohan looked worriedly at Piccolo. "If that's the case, can Uncle Vegeta still defeat Super 17?"

"You'll see soon enough," Lin Qi said calmly, his expression indifferent. Vegeta's strength was comparable to Super 17's.

However, the real problem lay in Super 17's infinite energy supply.

"This is a battle beyond our control," Piccolo muttered as cold sweat dripped from his forehead.

After witnessing the energy absorption, Vegeta noticed the black crystal embedded in Super 17's palm.

"Hmph, quite the surprise!" Vegeta feigned composure and sneered at Super 17.

"What's wrong? Was that all your power?" Super 17 smirked wickedly again.

"Enough nonsense!" Vegeta roared, closing the distance with a punch. "I don't need energy attacks to beat you!"

This time, Super 17 didn't block Vegeta's punch. Instead, he sidestepped and countered with an energy blast of his own.

As the energy ball exploded, Vegeta quickly teleported behind Super 17. "That kind of attack—are you just wasting energy?"

While speaking, Vegeta swept his leg toward Super 17's lower body. However, Super 17 reacted swiftly, twisting his body to avoid the kick.

Vegeta's movements were as fast as lightning, his strikes leaving afterimages in their wake. Each powerful move tore through the air with explosive force.

"Incredible... I didn't know Dad was this strong!" Trunks exclaimed, clenching his fists in excitement.

Gohan sighed in relief as he watched. "It looks like Uncle Vegeta can win!"

"It's just a temporary advantage," Piccolo said, his frown deepening. If Vegeta were to lose, what then?

Gohan hadn't yet transitioned from Golden Great Ape to Super Saiyan 4.

Piccolo shifted his gaze to Lin Qi, whose expression remained cold and indifferent, arms crossed as if he didn't care.

Sensing Piccolo's gaze, Lin Qi pretended not to notice.

Piccolo spoke solemnly, "The android has infinite energy!"

"What should we do? Mr. Goku is still trapped in Hell!" Uub said bitterly, his dark face filled with worry. "If Mr. Vegeta loses..."

"Lin Qi, will you step in to help?" Pan clasped her hands together, pleading anxiously.

"It's too early for that," Lin Qi replied noncommittally.

In midair, the battle between Vegeta and Super 17 grew increasingly fierce. Both launched attacks with unparalleled ferocity.

Yet the damage they inflicted on each other was minimal. Vegeta's sweeping kick was blocked by Super 17's elbow.

The fight seemed to reach a stalemate. However, as time passed, Vegeta's stamina began to drain, and he gradually fell into a disadvantage.

His energy consumption was starting to take its toll.

Crossing his arms in front of his chest, Vegeta blocked a powerful punch from Super 17.

But the next moment, Super 17's other fist came straight for Vegeta's face.

Forced to crouch and dodge, Vegeta swiftly teleported behind Super 17.

He launched a quick punch toward Super 17's back, but the android, as if sensing it, moved forward quickly to create distance.
