Chapter 33: Chapter 33: Naboo
"Jayden, we have arrived", Ayla spoke through the door, waking her padawan.
They both took turns in the cockpit, making sure that they weren't caught off-guard in any dangerous scenario that could appear at any moment, even when travelling through Hyperspace.
Jayden has no idea how to operate a spaceship, and their time together was not enough to teach him everything. So, Ayla just showed him some critical points during their travel from Coruscant to Kashyyyk, so he would know what to do during an emergency.
It helped them once.
During Jayden's watch from Kashyyk to Naboo, a meteor shower appeared in their path, causing them to stop and evade the falling meteors. Luckily, Ayla appeared quickly when the emergency happened, and was able to steer through the meteor shower.
The best way to survive during a meteor shower is to exit the shower if you have already entered the range of the shower.
It's best to wait it out or travel around it.
Passing through the meteor shower is a stupid thing to do, even if the pilot is considered the best in the galaxy. Even a Jedi wouldn't find it easy to pass through such a thing.
A meteor shower would have a lot of debris, which would, in one way or another, clash with the hull of the ship. Even if the best pilots may avoid collision with big meteors, collision with smaller debris would be impossible. There would be damage to the ship. So, the best way was to wait until the shower was over or travel around it.

Theed Space Port...
"Jayden, it's good to see you. Your mom is waiting at home preparing some of your favourites", Adrian said, hugging his son.
"It's nice to see you again, Father. I want to see Mom as well. It has been too long since we saw each other face-to-face", Jayden replied, as he gave a hug to his father.
"Father, this is my master, Ayla Ventra", Jayden introduced his master to his father.
"Nice to meet you, Master Ventra", Adrian bowed a little, showing his respect.
"Haha, nice to meet you too, Mr. Arken", Ayla greeted him back.
"Please, call me just Adrian. You are my son's master, and that means you are family. No need to be formal", Adrian said.
Ayla smiled, "Sure", she said.
She was genuinely happy to see that her padawan's family are good people. Usually, Jedi children would not see their families once they entered the temple, but a few are allowed to see their families because of their contacts in high places.
The Arkent family is one such family. They are rich and have contacts at high levels.
She hates the fact that the Jedi act as the Senate says to them, without truly having an opinion of their own. Without getting permission from the Senate, they can't do much of anything.
Even though that was the case, she didn't truly hate that Jayden could enjoy time with his family, mainly because before she took Jayden as her padawan, she checked the Arkent family.
They are mainly traders, but have industries in various worlds, mostly in the pharma sector. Though she heard rumours that the family had bribed officials to get things done, she knew almost everyone was doing similar things, but she knew that at least they were abusing their power.
"Come, master. Let me show you my home. It has been years since I was here, before the Jedi came to take me to the temple", Jayden spoke with a smile.
Though his previous life memories had appeared in his mind, he was still a kid, and often, he would revert to that kid subconsciously.
Who wouldn't want to revert to the time when they were kids?
They can act without worrying about the world. Whatever was happening, the world had nothing to do with them. They can enjoy the world, without seeing the greed, envy or other nasty flavours of the world.
Soon, the group reached their home, which was on the outskirts of Theed.
"Jay", a cry came, and a blur followed up with a hug.
"Hey, Mom", Jayden said, hugging back.
Sophia stayed like that for a second before releasing him, when Adrian coughed twice, indicating that they were not alone.
"Oh, Sorry. You must be Jay's master. I am Sophia. Nice to meet you", she introduced herself.
"Nice to meet you too", Ayla greeted.
"Come, I prepared food and rooms to stay while you are here", Sophia pulled both inside.
"Thank you for the hospitality", Ayla smiled as she followed inside.

Later that evening, Adrian took Jayden around Theed. He has not been here for years and wanted to see what changes had appeared that were different from what he remembered.
As they were touring Theed, they came across a small group concentrated around someone. Jayden could see that the speaker was a young girl.
Jayden observed the passionate speech the young girl was delivering from a distance. He recognised the girl, the future Queen and then Senator of Naboo, Padme Amidala, but for now, she is still Padme Naberrie.
He can't make contact with her, especially because little old Palpatine was sponsoring her from behind to overthrow the King of Naboo.
Since she is just an activist for now, it would be quite troublesome if he made contact with her. So, Jayden watched for a few minutes before leaving with his father.
At that time, Jayden didn't know, but Padme looked at young Jayden, who was leaving. She had no idea who the boy was, but she had an instinctive feeling that made her look in his direction.
She just saw for a few seconds, before she turned back to what she was doing before.
