Li Hao panted heavily. The entire Barren wasteland was in a furious uproar and expanding rapidly. So many powerhouses had died in such a short order that the energy they exuded was nearly tangible. It blanketed the Barren wasteland and caused more heavenly will to gather together.

Panther and the white horse had stood a great chance of devouring the little sword of heaven. However, it suddenly expanded as it gathered the heavenly will that'd entered the Saints' bodies. Dog yelps and horse whinnies rang through the air as the sword pummeled its attackers.

"This was just a simple fight," Li Hao sneered at the five Saints. "I can only say that your wills are too weak. You succumbed to the heavenly will's control just like that!"

The five raged inwardly as they listened dispassionately to the jeering. That cursed young man had thrown the heavenly will into disarray. Damn him!

They'd lost eight powerhouses before anyone knew better. Those losses were too heavy!

The queen was in a towering rage and she ground her teeth together.

"More out of the five of you will be eternally resting here today!" Li Hao laughed.

The two New Martial Saints looked at each other and quickly turned outward. Ying Hongyue and two more of their comrades were out there. Could Li Hao still sway the heavenly will now? Their comrades could enter this area or just outright attack it from outside to break the domain enclosing the wasteland!

That would be enough to take down the young man, even if a lot more died in the process.

Just as the thought crossed their minds, the young man suddenly disappeared. He materialized over the white horse and opened a cavernous mouth, swallowing it.

Everyone was shocked by the sight, even Panther!

A chaos dao meridian thrashed within Li Hao's body. The horse screamed, as did Li Hao. Supernatural characters appeared in the sky alongside dao meridians.

The young man set his jaw against the pain of his body fracturing all over. "The chaos enters my body and the world opens for me!"

BOOM!

The personal domain retracted!

Thirty-six supernatural characters hovered into being, centered around the 'dao' supernatural character. There were thirty-six attributed dao meridians.

Forty-eight dao meridians appeared in Li Hao's body, all of them unattributed. There were eighty-four dao meridians total, floating in the air as if massive dragons. Eighty-three of them began assimilating into the chaos dragon.

"Stop him!" The aghast queen shot out. Panther and the rest continued to reel from shock!

This was the last thing they'd expected. The young man wasn't simply directing the dog to swallow the will of chaos and the heavens, but he wanted to swallow the world himself! It was so surprising!

Everyone could sense a magnificent force quickly growing in size. The Barren wasteland was being swiftly compressed after Li Hao swallowed the world. Rumbles rang out as the land turned shrank into a massive ball that hurtled into the young man.

Li Hao's body shattered some more and he threatened to outright explode! But in this moment, his strength was so many times stronger than before.

He struck with a sword of chaos!

BOOM!

The five Saints were sent flying backwards, slack-jawed with shock. That strong?

However, the young man frowned slightly. This wasn't enough! He flicked a glance at the queen. She had too much heavenly will on her and it continued to increase. That made her so strong that he was unable to kill them.

It was rather Ying Hongyue's trio outside that took a few steps back when they felt how the world quaked. They'd wanted to rush the young man, but were abruptly dissuaded from that idea when they saw Li Hao turn into a chaos giant.

"It looks like... you guys can hang on for a while longer!" Li Hao frowned and smiled at the three outside. With that, he slashed forward with the chaos as a sword and the Barren wasteland in his body.

The world had dissolved into chaos and heavenly will surged into its champions. Their strength rose again, but this time, Li Hao was unable to utilize the will of the people. It was sufficient to use it just once. The effects would be greatly diminished if he called upon it again because the heavenly will had developed an immunity.

He transformed into a chaos giant and beat the five powerhouses back. They represented the heavenly will in this moment and he represented the chaos!

The two sides seemed evenly matched.

Upon the moon.

The man with the sword on his back exclaimed with appreciation, "He's got quite the capabilities!"

He wasn't surprised by Li Hao's usage of the people's will to kill some of his opponents. That part wasn't shocking at all.

What was astonishing was that the young man had swallowed the will of the chaos and outright incorporated the chaos and world into his body. Now that was stunning! The kid had forcefully devoured the world! No wonder he was so confident!

"He's very strong... almost at the Empyrean King level," said the Moon God. "He's only opened approximately eight dao meridians for it. Logically speaking, he should only be in the mid Saint level. But this level of strength... is almost peak Saint..."

"It's not the same. He is being bolstered by the will of chaos, great dao, and supernatural abilities. He's also a premier swordsman in his own right, so don't think of him as a regular Saint!"

"The second generation may not be able to stand against him if this continues," the Moon God changed topic. "Of course, heavenly will is only one part of her strength, we still stand a chance. Should I infuse more lunar power into her and quickly raise her cultivation level..."

The five on the ground still stood a chance at the moment. Li Hao had forced himself beyond his limits to devour the world; his body wasn't strong enough to withstand it. He would have to terminate his efforts soon or face self-detonation.

All they needed to do was to hold on for a while longer and avoid being killed. With that said, there was no guarantee that the five would be able to do so.

"Give her some!" the man laughed. "I'd like to see where Li Hao's limits are as well!"

The moon shimmered in lieu of an answer from the Moon God.

On the ground, the queen's eyes widened with surprise. Boundless lunar strength streamed into her body, instantly restoring her stamina and even helping her rapidly develop her cultivation!

The five had been suffering a thorough beating. When the queen next flung her scepter out, it blocked Li Hao's chaos sword with a thud!

The other powerhouses heaved a sigh of relief.

"Your lunar strength has increased again, huh?" Li Hao laughed and looked at the sky.You guys are cheating again! If it wasn't for that, you would've lost to me already! Don't mind if I do since you guys started cheating first.

His armor sparkled with light when he shouted with new determination.

A maddened slaughter promptly erupted in Divine Nation. Numerous puppets appeared in the airspace over various cities. In the absence of divine spirits, too many temples to count were toppled and countless believers executed!

Lin Hongyu stood on the border of Divine Nation and coolly regarded the Great Li army in front of her.

"Great Li will withdraw!" she shouted.

Generals shot into the air over the troops, glaring angrily at her.

"Great Li is to withdraw as quickly as possible. Skystar has taken over this area!" Lin Hongyu repeated.

"You go too far!" A Great Li general was incandescent with rage. This was utter humiliation!

And yet, he didn't dare do anything to her. It wasn't like he would win if he dared.

The Great Li army looked around hopefully, wanting to see their god take action again. Perhaps he could pound her to pieces with one punch! They'd paid a steep price to take Divine Nation, but now this cursed woman wanted them to retreat! Damn her!

"Retreat to Great Li!" A sigh echoed through the world as the officers raged, instantly quelling their emotions.

"We respectfully follow the god's wishes and withdraw!" they chorused.

Lin Hongyu looked into the distance and frowned slightly when she noticed a faint shadow. She didn't say anything. The massacre continued behind her; agony and pain reverberated in the air!

She took out a flag and rose into the air, extending it to the Divine Nation capital in the distance. Countless believers shot into the sky, all of them powerhouses and all of them wanting to stop the lion flag from being planted on their land.

All of them were killed without exception!

A dense killing intent emanated from the flag and a curved blade appeared in Lin Hongyu's hand.

"It's been a long time!" she chuckled. Who would believe her now that she'd once ruled over a city of one million supernaturals? Many thought of her as a gentle and tender lady. But back in the day... she'd nearly exterminated her own family in order to swear fealty to Li Hao. Who would believe that she was a butcher?

The curved blade swept through the world!

Corpses showered from the sky, a bloody rain soaking the ground. Her killing intent soared to the heavens as battle strength of seventh level Sun and Moon—higher than peak Immortal—was nearly invincible in this nation.

In the absence of Saints, there was no one to stop her bloodthirsty steps. Their queen had taken all of the divine spirits with her. What an idiot!

Lin Hongyu had been ready to pit herself against Saints, but there wasn't a single one in residence.

"Destroy all of the temples and kill everyone who resists!"

"Understood, ma'am!" Answering shouts rang through the land as the students commenced a frenzied slaughter, razing all of the temples.

RUMBLE!!

"May the gods save us..."

"Please save us, Moon God!"

"Where have the divine spirits gone?!"

"......" First, it was their army being slaughtered, then it was divine spirits dying. After that, Great Li invaded them and they lost a vast tract of territory for it. Today, countless temples were being destroyed and believers executed...

The very foundation of Divine Nation started collapsing—their faith started crumbling!

Where are our gods??

Why was there no sign of their magnificence after repeated massacres? Only death came for them again and again.

"Moon God... God of Prophecy... All of you are false gods!" some believers screamed in their final moments of life.

Divine Nation was being put to the fire and sword!Where are you?? Temples are being razed, your most devout worshippers are dying, cities are crumbling. Why do we see no sign of you saving us?!

A large quantity of faith collapsed in the skies over Divine Nation!

Upon the moon.

The Moon God's sculpture suddenly cracked open and she screeched with fury. "Damn it, damn it,damn it!!"

The entire moon trembled; the sculpture was damaged and some pieces flaked away. The man whipped his head around with a jerk. He didn't see clearly before the moon vanished on the spot and flew towards Divine Nation.

It didn't take long for a grisly sight to come into view. Countless cities had been destroyed and innumerable believers were dead! Rivers of blood flowed throughout the land!

The faithful keened with fury and grief, calling out to their gods. When they received no answer, they chose to abandon their faith!

The power of faith began collapsing!
