It was finally the day, the week had gone by in a flash, with Roman doing nothing but eating and having sex with Amelia and Anya.

He also spent time in the library reading about the history of the world and demons in general.

He found records of the attack ten years ago that led to a massive loss of life. He also found writings of the general who attacked; she was a female who used blood magic, but hers was too perfect, unlike humans.

The battle only ended after all the demons had been killed because Avalon had good barrier technology, so demons were held outside the city, and there was no rampage or loss of civilian lives.

He also found out that Victoria and Evelyn led the frontal assault targeting the demon general, and both of them fought her to a draw before she finally retreated.

Roman spent the week learning all he could from the library, but now, it was finally the first day of the academy, not the first day but the entrance ceremony, because today is also the day exams are held for people who didn't qualify to be a mage but want to.

Roman was already dressed and waiting in his room. He was told to get ready, and a carriage was coming to pick him up.

The academy was close to the wall and was located in the middle district, it was the biggest building there.

Roman couldn't wait; since he had been in the palace, he was given a fancy outfit to wear, but he wouldn't be able to wear it after entering the academy.

Since he left the house in a hurry, he didn't pick up any clothes or anything, but a bag filled with clothes was by his side, and he specifically told them he wanted normal clothing. Inside the academy, students would be given academy clothes.

The academy clothes weren't used to train, so students had to bring training clothes. The academy clothes were used for tournaments, duels, and special events. Each class had a different color, and class 1 was black and blue.

Roman also read plenty about the academy. The magic academy was founded by the founder of magic. Then, there were only a few mages, so it wasn't a big building or anything, just a place to learn more about magic.

Roman still had his doubts about the history of this world; it was connected together, but still it felt like a middle part, like someone wanted this to be the history.

Before the founder of magic discovered magic, humans made use of swords to fight; there was nothing to fight, only beasts and other humans.

Then magic was discovered, and after the founder of magic died, demons emerged a while later. Still, Roman didn't think too much about it; after all, his goal and mission hadn't changed: kill the demon lord.

A knock on the door made Roman turn his head towards the door as it was pushed open, a Royal knight was at the door, and Roman picked up his bag, apart from clothes, it also had other items which Roman picked from the bathroom here.

Roman stood in front of Amelia and Anya. Anya had tears in her eyes, but she didn't cry while Amelia simply kissed Roman on the cheek, and he turned around, walking away.

The knight was in front, and Roman was following behind; he hadn't seen the Queen after the last time they met, now his one-month trial was going to start.

He exited the palace door and walked towards the carriage, which was already open, and then he walked in. The carriage door was closed, and soon it began to move.

There was another carriage at the other side, that one clearly belonged to the Royal family, it was designed while this one he was in was just plain, the horses were also white.

Roman knew it was the carriage that was going to take the princess to the academy. The princess was definitely one of Roman's targets. She was an A-rank, and with all her training, she was definitely strong, far stronger than him.

Roman also wanted to see Reina. After his one-month training, he was going to see how much more stats she would offer, but for now, he was just eager to get to the academy.

The carriage began moving a little faster as it entered the upper district, and before long, there were in the middle district and heading towards the academy.

The carriage rolled smoothly through the city streets. Roman watched through the small window as the buildings changed from grand mansions to shops and inns, then finally to a large open area with a massive white structure ahead—it was the academy in front.

Tall towers reached up, and thick walls surrounded the entire place. Flags with the kingdom lion emblem flapped in the wind. People were everywhere, it was mostly students arriving, and of course, all of them were females.

Roman watched through the window as the carriage passed by different students, and a smile formed on his face.

The academy had a large gate and a smaller gate. The carriage he was in wasn't the only carriage, as he saw carriages in front and back; different noble families were here.

Roman's carriage stopped at the gate. A guard stepped forward, checked a scroll handed by the rider, then nodded, then the carriage entered slowly.

The carriage moved forward towards an open area and finally stopped. Roman pushed the door open and stepped out of the carriage.

"I wish you luck," the rider spoke as Roman walked away from the carriage.
