Chapter 99: Chapter 99: Complete Tailed Beast Transformation Vs Fall Down, Reverse Caress

White and yellow sandstorms raged wildly.

The swirling yellow sand roared like a tsunami, carried by powerful winds, making the entire underground space feel like a vast desert.

Hirako Shinji's figure was completely buried in the storm.

"Hirako Shinji, are you alright?!"

Muguruma Kensei couldn't hold back his concern.

He had already been forced into a draw by a human—an embarrassing outcome for a Captain.

If Shinji also lost, how could they continue training Kurosaki Ichigo? It would be better to just disappear in shame.

Suddenly, within the storm of swirling sand, a burst of spiritual pressure exploded.

Sand was blown away in all directions as Hirako Shinji stepped forward, his face covered with a Hollow mask.

"Young man… where did you get this power!?" he asked, frowning with sweat on his brow.

He stared at the figure standing opposite him—Nanaya, now fully cloaked in a Hollow mask of white and red. A long, white tail swayed behind him.

He looked like a wild Jinchūriki that had lost control—but entirely white.

Hearing Shinji's question, Nanaya smirked. The purple Rinnegan in his eyes gleamed as he replied, "It has some influence… but not enough to really matter."

While in this Hollow state, Nanaya could feel his emotions turning darker and more violent, like he was sinking deeper into madness.

But he was already used to that.

Back when he had the Sharingan, he often sensed the presence of Hollow spiritual energy.

"To answer your question, the power I'm using comes from the Menos Grande inside my body. Now, I'm going to use it… to mess with you."

As he spoke, a wicked grin appeared on his face. He raised his right hand, pressing his index and middle fingers together, and pointed straight at Hirako Shinji.

"Watch out. Try not to die."

Black and red spiritual pressure began gathering at his fingertips.

It condensed again and again...

Compressing tighter and tighter...

Eventually, the powerful energy formed into a tiny orb, no bigger than a marble, but the pressure it gave off was terrifying.

"Tch…"

Hirako Shinji gritted his teeth and quickly pointed his own hand at Nanaya, gathering his red spiritual energy without hesitation.

"Cero!" he shouted.

"Hollow Dog Cannon!" Nanaya responded.

The red Cero shot out like a beam of light.

Nanaya's Hollow Dog Cannon, black as a void, rushed out to meet it.

The two blasts collided in mid-air.

A thunderous explosion rang out.

In that moment, the dark shockwave from Nanaya's Hollow Dog Cannon swallowed up Shinji's red Cero and surged forward with crushing force.

"Crap…"

Shinji's eyes widened and he instantly jumped aside to dodge.

Boom!

The blast slammed into the barrier around them.

The entire underground chamber shook violently from the impact.

"Stop running!"

Nanaya licked his lips, letting even more Hollow energy flood through his body. His form began to change rapidly.

The white mask substance spread all over him, morphing his body into a monstrous shape.

He now had sharp claws, long fangs, a massive tail, and red markings carved into his body. His spiritual pressure exploded, thick with Hollow energy.

He looked just like the One-Tail, Shukaku.

"H-Hey! Are you seriously telling me this isn't a complete transformation?!"

Shinji was drenched in cold sweat.

He also had Hollow powers, but he had never pushed them to such extremes.

No matter how you looked at it—Nanaya had become a Menos Grande.

He didn't even look human anymore.

"Feels like I'm kinda losing it," Nanaya muttered as he examined his new form. Then, he let out a low growl—and suddenly grinned.

"But don't worry. I don't think I've totally lost control yet. So…"

"Let's go again—!"

"Sandstorm Burial!!"

As soon as Nanaya spoke, he slammed his clawed hands into the ground with force, releasing a violent surge of spiritual pressure.

The earth crumbled beneath him, instantly turning to sand. The range of this sand transformation was dozens of times larger than before.

It looked like the entire underground base was being swallowed up.

"My basement…"

Urahara Kisuke looked heartbroken, almost in tears.

Creating a special underground space like this wasn't easy. It required not only powerful barrier spells but also advanced Bakudō from the Kidō arts.

Even with Tessai Tsukabishi's help, he had only ever built two such underground rooms.

"Boss, forget the basement! If we don't move now, we'll be buried too…" Tessai warned, sweat dripping down his face.

He glanced down—what had once been solid stone under Urahara's feet was now turning into yellow sand.

Urahara's mouth twitched. He didn't argue and quickly backed away.

The others followed, retreating all the way to the basement entrance.

There, they turned around and stared in shock.

Most of the basement had turned into a massive yellow desert.

The wind howled, the sand stormed. Great waves of sand, each tens of meters tall, rose and fell.

Nanaya stood in the middle of it all, transformed into his One-Tail form, like a demon lord of the desert from the Naruto world—ruler of sand.

With just a wave of his hand, sand and wind roared through the air, turning the sky gray.

Hirako Shinji couldn't help but let out a bitter smile. For the first time, he drew his Zanpakutō and called out:

"Collapse, Sakanade!"

As his sword released its power, Shinji chuckled helplessly and said, "Too bad this isn't a combat-type Zanpakutō."

The storm of yellow sand came crashing down.

Shinji took a deep breath and swung his blade rapidly, trying to clear away the sand.

Ten minutes passed.

The yellow sand had formed huge dunes.

Shinji stood on top of one, sweat pouring down his face, still swinging his sword to push back the waves of sand.

Meanwhile, Nanaya suddenly stopped, smiling with interest.

"Everything around me—up, down, left, right, front, back—it's all mixed up now. Hirako Shinji, is that your Zanpakutō's ability?"

Shinji gave a tired smile and nodded. "Yeah. Do I look weird to you now?"

"Yes," Nanaya replied with a nod. "From where I'm standing, you look upside down in the air—right above me."

"That's my Zanpakutō's power," Shinji explained. "It messes with your sense of direction—flips your perception of left and right, up and down."

Nanaya laughed and stretched out his hand.

Waves of yellow sand surged again.

"It's a cool ability," he said, "but I think I have a bit of a counter to it."

"With this kind of large-scale attack, directions don't matter. No matter where you are—up, down, left, right—I can just bury everything in sand."

Shinji sighed in frustration. "If I knew you could control sand like this, I wouldn't have fought you at all."

To him, Nanaya's sand powers were like a Captain's flame-type Zanpakutō—devastating and wide-range, with nowhere to hide.

"Alright then," Nanaya said, licking his lips. "I'll stop here."

He decided not to keep fighting Shinji—he might need his help later.

Shinji let out a sigh of relief.

If they kept going, he might not have been able to win.

Especially since he couldn't use his Bankai.

His Bankai was too dangerous—it didn't distinguish between friend and foe.

If used recklessly, it might make Urahara Kisuke start fighting Muguruma Kensei.

As he moved slightly, Shinji felt even more annoyed.

His whole body was covered in yellow sand, and his arm had several small holes pierced through it.

Blood was trickling out.

"Heh…"

Nanaya chuckled. "Earlier, I slipped a bunch of sand grains into your body."

"If I wanted to, I could've turned them into deadly weapons."

As he spoke, he raised a fist and shattered the Hollow mask covering his face.

The huge One-Tail form behind him began to crumble.

With a wave of his hand, countless tiny blood droplets burst from Shinji's body.

Each one was a speck of sand exiting his flesh.

Shinji shivered at the sight.

He finally realized that Nanaya had even deadlier abilities he hadn't shown yet.

Nanaya stepped forward, appeared right in front of Shinji, and wrapped an arm around his neck with a grin.

"Hirako Shinji, guess we're friends now, huh? Since we've hit it off so well, how about helping me control the Hollow inside me?"

Hearing that, Shinji's eyes nearly popped out of his head.

He shook his head wildly, like a broken doll.

"No way! Are you trying to get me killed?!"
