Chapter 215: I Need Money
He'd been infatuated with her for three years. How could he let go? But when dreams became reality, it was hard not to feel dazed.
Ryan lay on the bed and lit a cigarette. The nightstand was still a plastic stool, and an empty instant noodle cup served as an ashtray.
Tina sat primly, glancing around before murmuring, "Ryan, you're really something. Living like this despite everything."
"I'm not spoiled. I'm from the countryside. But if I were this rich and still living so roughly, I can't imagine it."
"Honestly, if it were me, I couldn't do it..."
"Not just this environment—even working as many dirty, exhausting jobs as you? No way."
Tina said this wistfully, her heart swelling with sweetness. This man had given her the purest, most innocent love.
So what if it was Yana? So what if it was Lyla? They were just gold-diggers—no emotional foundation. How could they compare to her?
The thought comforted her. As Ryan stubbed out his cigarette, she threw herself into his arms.
But then her phone rang, shattering the moment.
Annoyed, she nearly cursed—until she saw it was her uncle calling. Her heart softened instantly.
"Hey, uncle, what's wrong?"
She was crushed. A rare moment alone with Ryan, ruined. But she couldn't ignore the call.
On the other end of the phone, her uncle was complaining bitterly, saying, "Tina, my boss is in urgent need of money, and the building has already been sold."
"I'm so overwhelmed after discussing this with your aunt, and I'm also worried that your aunt and your grandmother will quarrel if they live together."
"I'm also worried that your brother will upset grandparents, but your brother is going to get married in the future, and there will be a lot of conflicts if we continue to live together."
Tina thought for a moment and said softly, "Uncle, it doesn't matter if there is no room for me at home."
Uncle Tian was furious when he heard this: "Tina, what are you talking about? Even if you throw your brother out, you will always have a room at home."
"Your aunt has a sharp tongue but a kind heart, don't you know? Whenever you come back, your brother sleeps on the floor in the living room. Although he is our son, your uncle has never treated you badly."
"Uncle, what's going on now?"
Tina seemed to feel warm at heart, with tears in her eyes.
"Let's discuss it when you come back this weekend. After all, you brought back so much money, and we are worried about the dowry in the future. If it doesn't work out, we can just buy an old house and we don't have to spend your boyfriend's money."
"Okay, let's talk about it when I get back."
After hanging up the phone, Tina sighed and wanted to say something, but Ryan put his big hand on her head.
"Don't say anything, don't think about anything, just have a good sleep."
Perhaps she was really tired, so Tina gave up the idea of taking the opportunity to seduce him. She hummed obediently and closed her eyes in Ryan's arms.
The boys' dormitory in the evening is the noisiest time. Once the hormones of youth start to burn, shouting and cursing can be heard everywhere.
Especially in the corridors, people are either shouting for their dad or cursing their mom. This is the youth that many people want to go back to.
But the door of the dormitory opened and opened again, and it was surprisingly quiet. When Ryan woke up in a daze, only Weston was in the dormitory, and he had a strange look on his face while playing games.
"Fuck you, kid, what the hell is going on?"
Seeing Ryan wake up, he rushed over like a tiger pouncing on its prey and cursed, "We are the enemy of the entire building."
"Fuck, calm down. If you're in heat, go to the pig farming company and don't touch me."
Weston's eyes turned red when he talked about this. Before he entered the dormitory, there were two figures waiting in front of the door, and all the boys couldn't help but peek.
The school beauty Yana, and the top comic girl Lyla, were whispering to each other and no one knew what they were talking about. All we knew was that many men were drooling at the sight of them.
After Weston opened the door, what he saw shocked him greatly.
On the bed, even though his clothes were intact, Ryan was still sleeping soundly with his arms around Tina.
While he was dumbfounded and completely stunned, Lyla closed the dormitory door, looked at Yana, and quietly fiddled with Tina in Ryan's arms.
Tina woke up in a daze. They made a gesture to keep quiet, so Tina got up and followed them without saying anything.
"Student Weston, please keep your voice down!!"
"Ryan must be very tired. It's rare for him to sleep so well."
"Please!!"
Weston felt like he was going crazy after hearing the soft and gentle pleas from the three top beauties, so as soon as Ryan woke up, he pounced on them and started to strangle them and roared angrily.
"You son of a bitch, do you have a hypnosis system or can you raise a Gu?"
"All three of them are out of their minds, right?"
Ryan pushed him away and scolded him with a smile: "Get lost, this might not be a good thing, stop being jealous."
"Go away…"
Weston's roar was one of extreme jealousy.
Behind the teaching building, on a stone bench by the small pond, Yana said softly, "You're making a bit too much noise."
Tina chuckled, not backing off at all, and instead asked provocatively: "Why, are you jealous?"
What Yana was talking about was naturally the confession incident that was hotly searched in the school, the kiss in the classroom, and the counterattack of the dog-licker that everyone talked about with relish.
