Du Busi never expected Xu Jiawei to propose making the Body Sect the guardian sect of the Star Luo Empire.

Had the Body Sect not already become the guardian sect of the Heavenly Soul Empire, he might have considered it.

After all, Star Luo was stronger than Heavenly Soul and could provide greater benefits to the sect.

Guardian sects and empires shared a mutually beneficial relationship: the empire provided resources, and in return, the sect protected the empire in times of crisis.

If the Sun Moon Empire invaded, Shrek would be obliged to assist.

After the private banquet, the Body Sect members retired to their accommodations, arranged by Xu Jiawei.

Xu Jiawei sat in his study, deep in thought.

"Jiujiu, I think we should investigate the Body Sect.

"Du Busi's refusal to become our guardian sect is highly suspicious.

"If they aren't a hidden sect, then they must have resource needs."

"Jiujiu, I know your imagination tends to run wild, but what could the Body Sect possibly gain from another empire?

"Our Star Luo Empire is the most powerful of the three Douluo nations.

"If the Body Sect wanted to serve as a guardian sect, the host empire would have to provide extensive resources.

"Looking at the three empires, we have the strongest foundation and the most resources.

"The advantage is ours!"

Xu Jiujiu responded, "Brother, you are wise."

Xu Jiawei continued, "By the way, I recently received intelligence from the ninth ranked soul engineer who supplied us with the God Sealing Platform and the hundred thousand year soul beast embryo.

"The Sun Moon Empire's soul engineer legions stationed in the Ming Dou Mountain Range have adjusted their encampment positions.

"Contact Dai Hao and tell him to move our soul tool cannon positions seven meters to the left."

The Sun Moon Empire had numerous soul engineer legions, but their Beast King level legions stood out due to their immense power.

Xu Jiujiu hesitated. "Brother, will this really make a difference?"

Xu Jiawei smirked confidently.

"Of course. Trust me if war breaks out in the Ming Dou Mountain Range, we'll gain an advantage by precisely covering the enemy with our firepower."

Days Later Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineering Academy

Huo Yuhao finally returned to his beloved academy.

The Fire Phoenix Soul Engineer Legion did not accompany him back they remained in the Extreme North, mining rare metals and coordinating their steady transportation to the Sun Moon Empire.

As for the soul beasts in the Extreme North, that problem had been easily solved.

Before leaving, Huo Yuhao had met with the Titan Snow Demon King and the other leaders to ensure they wouldn't obstruct the metal extraction.

To the soul beasts, those buried minerals held no value, as they didn't consume rare metals.

Inside the Academy

"Yuhao, I'm going to take the rare metals to craft soul tools. Would you like to join me?" Jing Hongchen invited.

"Dean, I'd like to focus on my cultivation for now.

"I'm not particularly interested in crafting soul tools at the moment," Huo Yuhao replied.

Jing Hongchen nodded.

"Very well. I'll be off, then."

"See you tomorrow, Dean."

With that, Jing Hongchen accelerated toward Mingde Hall.

Meanwhile, Huo Yuhao returned to his residence instead of joining him.

He had a specific reason he sensed that the attention on him had died down.

It was time to contact the Plane Consciousness and request a teleportation into the Golden Tree for cultivation.
