A masked figure appears and punches him in the face making him crash into a wall, before he could even speak the figure grabbed him by the mouth so he couldn't speak. It was Sonic.

Sonic:*changes his voice to a half robot sound* Did you think you can just barge in and leave? I will make sure you don't leave alive. *Turns towards the camera* Open the gates.

Before sonic° could try asking, the screen turns on to show eggman.

Eggman: You fell right into my trap Sonic, now my friend here will make sure to deliver your corpse to the fishes hahahahaa.

The shutter doors open and Sonic grabbed Sonic° and jumped off, after falling a certain distance Sonic swapped with a nearby falling robot he threw before and used his paths and time field to stop their fall.

Sonic°: THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!!? WHY DID YOU STOP ME?

Sonic warped them to a nearby cliff and threw Sonic° on the ground.

Sonic: change of plans, I just got some info from angel island. We need Iblis to be released if we want it gone for good.

Sonic: Iblis will only be released if she cries. And* spins Sonic° and slams him on the ground* We need some drama for it to work.

Sonic: Eggman has already agreed to negotiations, she will be taken to a barren island to avoid massive damage to people.

Both stare at each other as the fortress flies away.

Meanwhile, somewhere on Angel island.

Blaze: What did you even send to him and wasn't there supposed to be no signal or whatever here?

Tails°: My gadgets are much better than others, having higher range is no problem for me.

Knuckles: Apparently Chaos found some info in memories of master emerald while doing the linking. It said that until both the greed and gluttony are killed together, they will endlessly resurrect. We have called for every trustable person to be present on planed place.

Silver:*questions confused* So what do I have to do?

Tails: Chaos said that The mephiles Guy was the greed part and you will have to act like you are betraying us to bring him out of hiding there if we want to defeat them at once. I will go get Shadow and the others while you all prepare to fight.

Tails barged off after entering his plane 'Tornado' with silver.

Knuckles: We need some solidified power of master emerald if we want to survive the corruption, Sonic said your flames can be blessed by the master emerald to slow down the regeneration of that bastard. *Begins walking towards the corridor* Follow me.

Meanwhile somewhere in a ruins, Shadow° and his group face a mephiles° of the past they accidentally released.

Mephiles°: Why do you struggle when your efforts are as futile as throwing moths at a fire.

Shadow°: Do you think you are unbeatable? I have seen stronger beings then you and today is-

Rouge°: Um we got a call from that yellow fox. He says it is more urgent than any evil incarnate.

Mephiles°: you can talk, i doubt that will change anything except make me more feared.

Shadow°:*grabs the communicator*Say it quick fox, we are mid fight.

Tails°: Is it by chance a floating guy that looks like hedgehog but with crystals on his body?

Shadow°: Jus-.. How did you know?

Tails°: Got it, activate the emerald resonance, we have someone else to deal with him. He will be there in uh 5 mins.

Shadow°: I hope you are not lying fox boy *cuts the call* Rouge you take the emerald*activates resonance and throws the gem to Rouge and removes his limiter rings* , make sure you don't lose it.

Shadow takes a athelete pose and charges, his ring and chaos energy releasing together amplifying them, Rouge follows behind alongside Omega as they charge between clones of mephiles.

Four minutes later, Mephiles is now stuck in a person shaped crack on a wall with Shadow looking at him with disdain and disgust.

Shadow°: all that talk just to lose, pathetic.

Mephiles°: Say what you want but even death will not stop me, rejoice the days you still have left.

A figure emerges, his voice echoes as he gracefully lands from a space rift.

Rouge°: Hoo, that voice felt like Sonic's but the aura looks completely different.

Sonic removes his mask and brings out caliburn.

Caliburn bathes in golden glow as radiance filled the entire room, I front of everybody, the palm wide sword became twice as wide, it's edge got longer and so did its sharpness, the golden hilt expands and soon a sword worthy of its title appears in view.

Sonic: That's quite a dashing entry.*tries swinging around* Also did you get even lighter?

Excalibur: *tone changes to much rougher and serious voice* I am manifestation of light itself being lightweight is necessary.

Sonic:*face plants with other hand* I guess the prideful personality stays.

Meanwhile, mephiles° and others stare at sonic with their mouths wide open (except Our emo Shadow ofcourse).

Shadow°: *impatiently roars* Just do it already faker.

Sonic blurs past the trio, leaving even shadow with his mouth wide open, the greatsword plunges straight into Mephiles's chest making dark blood to fall before it evaporates under the power of excalibur.

Mephiles°: Hhh-how?* His strength leaving his body*

Sonic: Wonder how the great sun god has fallen to this level? *Twists the blade* For the mind of the first sun to lose both it's light and power.

Rouge°: Sun God? That piece of sh*t that looks like someone puts some amethyst spikes on a obsidian golem?

Sonic: I said first sun... He was born from a supernova of a ancient sun and...*looks at the dying Mephiles*This scum is the darkness part that was split from the spirit of first sun.

Shadow°: How do you even know that? I don't remember you being smart.*takes a fighting stance* Who are you?

Sonic: No wonder tails told me you were a sharp guy, that's right I am sonic but not of your world.*rips out excalibur from a now ash mephiles* We can have the introductions later, Let's get moving *turns excalibur back to caliburn and blurs towards the exit*

Shadow°: No wonder I didn't feel repulsed, a smart guy compared to that moron... *Turns to his group* Let's leave.

Omega° and rouge° follows behind shadow towards the exit.
