The Uchiha clan members had never seen Madara this serious before.

They started whispering among themselves.

Madara-sama… serious?

Whenever he fought, he always seemed half-hearted, like he didn't even want to be there. He only fought because he had to. They could tell. After all, many of them felt the same way. They didn't want to fight either.

The murmurs grew louder until suddenly—

COUGH!

Madara cleared his throat.

Silence.

Everyone immediately quieted down, eyes fixed on their leader.

Then, Madara spoke.

"We don't have to fight anymore."

His voice was firm, carrying over the gathered Uchiha.

"I've reached an agreement with the head of the Senju clan, Hashirama Senju," he continued. "From now on, our two clans will live in peace. We will unite. And maybe… just maybe, we can build a place we can call home."

He looked at his people.

"I ask you—how many of you are with me?"

Silence.

Then—Ding. Ding. Ding.

One by one, kunai dropped to the ground.

Almost all of them let go of their weapons. Only a few still hesitated.

Behind Madara, Izuna watched in silence.

Arata, standing beside him, smiled but said nothing. He let Madara continue.

Expressions of shock, relief, and pure joy spread across the crowd.

"Home…? A real home…?" someone whispered in disbelief.

"In the name of the Sage of Six Paths… what did I just hear?"

"We don't have to fight anymore…?"

Then—

"Hahaha! We are at peace! We don't have to fight anymore!" someone cheered.

"Long live Madara-sama! Long live Madara-sama!"

"I can finally see my son… He was just born…!"

"Did you hear that?! We don't have to fight! Shizu! Akane! Wait for me! I'm coming home!"

A Jonin, who had once promised his wife he'd return alive, clenched his fists. His voice trembled. "I won't break my promise…"as More and more voices joined in.

Shock. Relief. Happiness.

The Uchiha couldn't believe it.

For years, they fought without even knowing why. Now… they no longer had to.

Seeing their clan members excited—most of them, at least—Madara watched in silence.

The war was ending And They no longer had to fight mindlessly, sacrificing their lives for reasons they didn't even understand.

Looking at their reactions, Madara felt something strange. A mix of sadness and relief.

So… their desire for war wasn't as strong as I thought. They fought because they had to… not because they wanted revenge.

Hashirama… you were right.

Madara clenched his fists.

Izuna, standing beside him, also watched their clan members closely. Seeing their happiness, he took a deep breath before speaking. "Brother… Everyone in the Uchiha longs for peace," Izuna said softly. "Back then, I… and even Father… we were wrong."

His words were quiet, but his smile was real. A genuine one.

Madara turned to look at him.

Their eyes met.

Madara smiled back.

Behind them, Arata watched everything unfold. A small smirk formed on his face.

Hah… Guess I didn't even need to come here after all.

Meanwhile, the Uchiha clan members started hugging each other, laughing, and crying.

For the first time in a long time, they were happy. But then—

COUGH!

Madara cleared his throat again.

"Everyone, be quiet for a moment," he said. His voice carried weight, and the cheers slowly faded I have something else to announce."

He paused, scanning the crowd.

"This decision… it requires your consent. I cannot force it upon you. That would be tyranny."

Madara's serious tone made everyone focus on him again. They had just received peace.

Now, their clan head was about to reveal something even more important.

Madara took a deep breath. His gaze briefly met Arata's. The boy nodded slightly, as if already knowing what he was about to say.

Madara smiled at that.

Then, he spoke.

"The Senju clan has agreed to unite with us through marriage," Madara declared.

A wave of silence fell over the Uchiha.

"This will create a bond between us—one that cannot be broken by small disputes or misunderstandings that could lead to another war. This will ensure our clans remain united… permanently."

His voice was steady, his words clear.

"I want to hear your opinions. If you are willing to accept intermarriage between the Uchiha and the Senju… if you are willing to fully integrate our two clans—"

Madara paused.

"—then tell me."

BOOM.

It was like an atomic bomb had gone off in their minds.

Blank.

Empty.

Stunned.

No one moved.

No one spoke.

The entire Uchiha clan stood frozen, their brains struggling to process what they had just heard..

Everyone was shocked.

I mean everyone.

Even the elders.

Yes, the Uchiha elders. But wait—before you start imagining old men with white hair and wrinkled faces, let me stop you right there.

The Uchiha elders were still young.

Why?

Because unlike the Senju, who had old men sitting around drinking tea and giving wise advice, the Uchiha didn't have many old people.

And the reason was simple—they all died in battle.

See, before Madara awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan, the Uchiha didn't have such overpowered abilities. They fought the Senju clan purely with their Three-Tomoe Sharingan. And honestly, that was the only reason they weren't wiped out a long time ago.

The Senju had insane chakra reserves, ridiculous stamina, and healing abilities that made them monsters on the battlefield. If the Uchiha didn't have their Sharingan to predict attacks and counter Senju techniques, they'd have been extinct ages ago.

But then…

Hashirama awakened Wood Release.

And that's when things got really bad for the Uchiha.

Because now, it wasn't just about dodging and countering attacks. No matter how skilled they were, Hashirama could just trap them in his giant wooden jutsu. And if he didn't finish the job himself, the Senju warriors would take care of the rest.

That's why so many older Uchiha warriors died.

And that's also why, in the Uchiha clan, their "elders" weren't really old.

They were just the strongest, most experienced warriors—usually the ones who had already unlocked their Three-Tomoe Sharingan. Because without it, they didn't even qualify to be an elder.

No Sharingan? No elder status. Simple.
