Vol 1: Epilogue
...
Although the Rare Crimson Moon has stopped, the Sol Empire remains in the state of issues. All of its borders had exhausted its units, every citizen of the empire remained vigilant and unrest, and the insides of the Empire remains in chaos
In the northern side of the border, A prominent figure can be seen standing, witnessing the outcome of the obstacles they've faced
"..."
"What a mess this was, huh?"
"Quite troublesome than the past Rare Crimson Moons we've faced"
"But who would've thought that our King himself, would leave from this Empire without a trace?"
"..."
Hikari, the Pillar of Light took another silence as Ignis, the Pillar of Fire started to raise another concern
"Not only the absence of the King that the Commander of the Empire, Gideon, has a lot of matters to take unto his own hands, the Daughter of the King, Elena Tremsworth, is now expected to inherit the throne"
"That's only natural since she's the daughter of Druel Tremsworth"
Ignis then puts his sheathed sword down, taking another sigh
"It must've been a shocker for her Highness to not witness her father while in the midst of a Rare Crimson Moon"
"Still, she's a Paladin. She takes care of the citizens first before her family and herself. Even though she wanted to find her father's whereabouts, she's bounded from her responsibilities and duties to the Empire"
"So...while she's doing the best as she can, us, the Pillars have to support not only the Empire, but also her Highness"
"But the problem is..."
Hikari looks at the other side of the border, seeing the numerous amount of stationed enemies
"...Even if I wanted to locate his Majesty's whereabouts myself, I can't let them take over our Empire. Moreover, her Highness has ordered us to protect the Empire at all costs while she takes care of forging alliances with the neighbouring kingdoms"
"Another issue that she needs to face is that our Empire has never entered in any alliances besides trade relations, which will be hard for her Highness to arrange a new relation"
"Before she was a paladin, she was the best negotiator that the Sol Empire has. It was the best decision to leave the matter to her highness"
"Still, we could've gone and went with her as well...but then again, these enemies are persistent"
Even with the Rare Crimson Moon's presence, the enemies were able to hold their turf, maintaining a good balance of supplies, as well as having its units in good condition
"Its because of the six Magus being present. Their units won't last a day long while the Rare Crimson Moon is active, but because of them, there were no casualties happened"
Ignis's grip tightened on his sheathed sword as he spoke, his voice low and seething with anger
"If only those people don't have a catalyst!"
"..."
Ignis suddenly spouted a suggestion
"Hey, Hikari, do you think we can defeat them?"
"..."
Hikari looks at the hero, training in the hands of the other three pillars, then looks back at Ignis
"What her Highness has ordered us is to what we should fulfill"
"I know I know, I just asked you that question on a whim"
"For now, what matters the most is that we can't let them take over the Empire"
"..."
Now with the Rare Crimson Moon has come to an end, the Sol Empire faces the two opposing Empires in the upcoming warfare...
...
...
...
Deep within the woods, a paladin riding on a horse can be seen, running at full speed. That paladin was none other than one of the royal families of the Sol Empire
The woman at the scene is in the state of confusion, puzzled as she was, she was set on doing for what is right and what is the best for her citizens
Her vision slowly narrows down to where she was looking at, slowly turning into a tunnel vision as she drowned herself into her own thoughts...
"...Father...I don't know where you gone off to, but I believe that you didn't leave the Empire on your own accord..."
She says, as she remained vigilant of her surroundings
"No matter what, I will solve our issues...I will do everything just to save our citizens..."
She grips on her leash as tight as she could
"Even if it kills me!"
With tears dropping from her eyes, she swiftly sets off to her destination, deeper into the woods...
