Sky-cracking Rider

Chapter 1068: My Son Has the Bearing of a Sky Knight

Chen Fei wasn't annoyed at all and said with a smile: "Who said so, I know quite a few Sky Knights, from all over the world."

His skill in roasting people was even better than his One Man Army Psi Skill, Little Shanzi was clearly getting cocky again.

"I'll tell you, I found a Sky Knight for training guidance, listen up, his call sign is 'Mechanic', and his ride is 'Ratchet'. He participated in the ranking battle of the American Federation and secured 20th place, impressive, right? Chen Xiao'er, someone like you probably doesn't even qualify to participate in the ranking battle!"

Chen Shan got more excited as he spoke. His father had found an incredible Sky Knight for him as a training guide. Even within The First Sovereign, he was someone to reckon with, let alone achieving a remarkable rank in the "ranking battle" of the American Federation, which is comparable to international joint battles.

"Ding Xiu? That guy who smiles like a fool?"

Hearing a familiar name from Chen Shan's mouth, Chen Fei sighed about how small the circles in this world were.

How could he not know about the American Federation's ranking battle, he had personally participated in it, although his ranking was rather poor.

National Defense Star and Sky Knights were basically in the same circle. It wasn't uncommon for the former to customize exclusive Crystal Jets for the latter, and Chen Fei's work experience meant he had one foot in this circle, so it wasn't surprising he mentioned how small the circle was.

"Do you know what you're saying?"

Chen Shan unbuckled his seatbelt, leapt out of the Flight Simulator's cockpit, and landed steadily on the ground about three meters below the cockpit.

The immediate enhancement of his Battle Qi increased his resistance to impact, endurance, and burst strength, yet he still felt his feet were a bit numb from the shock, nearly failing to show off.

Just this one landing movement consumed all the freshly triggered Battle Qi, after all, it had only been a few days since he managed to coalesce a Battle Qi Seed, and it still needed refining to truly stabilize.

"Of course I know, Ding Xiu, call sign 'Mechanic', Crystal Jet 'Ratchet', my defeated opponent, I really don't know what you're so proud of!"

Chen Fei spread his hands, simply stating a fact, he wasn't trying to boast. Who would have thought such a coincidence would happen, you can only blame Little Shanzi for being unlucky.

The "Wall of Sighs" mission ended as soon as it started. The First Sovereign forces temporarily stationed on Socotra Island were about to withdraw back, and coincidentally, the young master of the National Defense Star chairman just managed to trigger Battle Qi and intended to join the Sky Knight training. Thus, there was an opportunity to invite a Sky Knight as a training guide.

To ensure the selection of excellent new Sky Knights, the "passing on from the old to the new" tradition existed not only within the Sky Knights group but also among combat pilots and ordinary pilots.

"Hahaha, seriously? A bona fide Sky Knight is your defeated opponent? Are you trying to make me laugh to death? Even if you're bragging, can you at least be more sincere and make up a better story."

Chen Shan pretended to move his feet casually, with his mouth twitching constantly as he laughed.

The landing just now was too fierce, and now his entire foot and calf were nearly numb.

If he hadn't triggered Battle Qi, that jump might have resulted in a fracture, the least would be kneeling on the spot, then waiting for Chen Xiao'er's sly smile while saying: "Rise, my vassal!"

Damn it, it's just infuriating.

"Believe it or not, what I said is a fact!"

Chen Fei shrugged his shoulders, not intending to engage in a pointless argument with Chen Shan over this.

Suppressing the tingling sensation below his calves, Chen Shan forced himself to stay sharp and said proudly: "My training guide will arrive tomorrow afternoon, and I'll tell every word of what you said to him. If you want to take it back, there's still time, otherwise, you'll be the one embarrassed, not me!"

Then he snickered, Chen Xiao'er didn't realize that when the words were put into action, it'd backfire and embarrass him. Don't say I didn't warn you.

"Just say it! Since I'm here, want to play a couple of rounds? Let's see how your skills are? Is there a free spot?"

Chen Fei looked around at the Flight Simulators, most of which were still idle, with only one-third still rumbling in operation.

"I'm not playing with you, do you really take me for an idiot!"

Chen Shan refused without hesitation.

Chen Fei's performance in the Sovereign Level Air Combat League "Abyss Coliseum" wasn't a secret. Having survived company wars in the military contracting industry, those who could live through it weren't easy to deal with, truly worthy of being Chen Xiao'er from Third Uncle's family!

Although Chen Shan had the advantage of proximity, benefiting from the National Defense Star's readily available flight training equipment, and had far more practice hours in the Flight Simulator than Chen Fei's actual flight hours, even rivaling professional pilots, he still had a long way to go compared to those who've seen blood.

If his Sky Knight training passes, and he steps into the real Sky Knight threshold, with hard training for a few years, not only would he advance in Battle Qi, but he would also refine his Exclusive Aerial Combat Technique with his customized ride, that'd be the time for him to gloriously crush Chen Xiao'er.

Now is the time for the Hidden Dragon to stay in the depths, not to ruin important matters for a moment's feeling.

Chen Fei, lacking interest, regretfully said: "Ha, what a pity!"

Little Shanzi got smarter, avoiding the trick, otherwise, if he got carried away and hotheaded, he'd be waiting to be bullied eight hundred times, oh, how bullying the weak feels so good!
