Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

As Corey moved in the folds of space that would lead him to the location of his next target, his mind went to the details of the Crimson Orchid.

'The next herb is the Crimson Orchid. A high grade 5 herb. It can enhance one's raw physical strength far greater than the Silverroot Vine. It can also heal injuries, and if one has a dormant bloodline, it can awaken it as long as the grade of the bloodline is not too high for it. I'll need to make several pills with the Crimson Orchid so that Kiefer, Selene, and Willow can all gain its benefits.'

Despite moving through the folds of space, Corey was still able to have so many thoughts, and this was not normal in the slightest.

When teleporting, even with Void Force, one would rarely be able to have the capability to have other thoughts other than making sure that they did not lose themselves in space or the void.

But with his Stars of Consciousness, he was able to do things many others could not do.

A second in the real world passed after Corey teleported, but an unknown amount of time in Corey's mind had passed instead.

He appeared in the location of the Crimson Orchid, and his eyes instantly landed on the massive beast that was at arm's length from him.

'Oh. That's true... Kiefer said that a beast that's half as large as a house and looks like a bull with silver antlers is guarding the Crimson Orchid. But Kiefer had no idea that the bull is a red bull... A silver horned bull? No... A silver horned red bull? Isn't that the name of a drink?'

Corey looked up, and an extremely calm and indifferent expression was on his face despite the bull like beast noticing his presence and getting up with feral killing intent in its eyes.

'I would have said that Selene and Willow should fight this beast, but it's too strong for them. Just staying in the presence of the Crimson Orchid helps it, and from the looks of it, it has been Crimson Orchid's like candies for a long time now... Probably lower grade Crimson Orchids.'

'Its raw physical strength and capabilities is high, but...'

Corey's right hand glowed with black motes of light which then transformed into a black liquid, and at that moment, an aura of death engulfed his surroundings.

Kiefer, Selene, and Willow took a step back because their instincts screamed at them because of the aura that was around Corey's hand.

Corey glanced at them from the corner of his eyes. "Don't worry. You're safe."

Kiefer, Selene, and Willow blinked, and they decided to trust their master.

But they knew that regardless of whether they chose to trust Corey or not, it did not matter. They knew that if Corey did not control whatever skill he was about to unleash, the shockwave or remnant effects of the attack would, not could, kill them.

It felt like Death.

So why not trust their master that has never meant them harm in any way.

Meanwhile, after telling Kiefer, Selene, and Willow that they were safe, his focus was on the silver horned red bull whose beastial instincts were screaming at it.

It could feel the scythe around its neck, quite literally, and it did the best thing its mind could think of.

It attacked.

It bellowed loudly, and then it raised its massive leg and stomped on Corey.

Corey's expression was utterly calm and indifferent, and he stretched out his left hand.

His Ancient Spear which he had not used for a very long time appeared in his hand, and the moment it appeared, it was too late for the silver-horned red bull.

Its leg stomped on the tip of the spear, and an immense amount of blood gushed out of it as its leg was uncontrollably pushed further into the spear, causing more blood to fall on the ground.

The silver-horned red bull bellowed loudly in immense pain, causing a powerful shockwave that nearly uprooted every single grass in a five hundred meter radius.

The expressions of Kiefer, Selene, and Willow drastically changed when they saw the power behind the stomp and also the fact that it looked like the leg of the silver-horned red bull had crushed Corey.

"Is he... dead?" Willow asked with wide eyes and a slightly shaken expression.

"Of course not. Let's just wait for the dust to settle and we'll see that the master is just fine." Kiefer replied with a calm and completely unbothered expression and tone. His gaze shifted to the barrier surrounding them which was completely made out of hexagons.

'This barrier looks simple on the surface, but I know that it's not at all. Although it looks like it's just made up of hexagons, I know that there are several layers of hexagons on just one tiny hexagon of the barrier... And he made it this fast.'

'I can also sense something else from the barrier... A power that feels like it will always endure and never give up. Can a barrier do that? Can a barrier make somebody to feel like that?'

Unknown to Kiefer, what he was feeling was not the aura or energy of the barrier but Corey's Undying Will which he learned how to infuse into Hexagon Nova Shield.

It was not perfect since his Stars of Consciousness were still working on it, but he was making an unbelievable amount of progress in combining both abilities.

"Hmm?"

The dust settled, and Kiefer, Selene, and Willow were finally able to see Corey.

Just as Kiefer said, he was completely unharmed and not even stained by the blood of the silver-horned red bull.

Just above the tip of his hair was a hexagon barrier which had cracks all over it, but was still in one piece.

The silver-horned red bull was still bellowing in pain, and Corey slowly raised his right hand, and used his recently acquired skill.
