Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

After a few moments passed, Corey decided to shift his thoughts from Caesar to what his Stars of Consciousness had discovered about the energy from the Chain of Sovereignty.

'The energy from the Chain of Sovereignty has some comparisons to mana. It's a little bit like mana, but it's more pure and more powerful.'

'It can expand and strengthen one's mana veins. It can also make a person's bones, muscles, and skin more sturdy and durable. It even increases one's mana quantity and quality, and surprisingly, it even makes one's mana core to be more durable.'

'It also has no hidden side effects. But I wonder what this energy truly is. A shame that it cannot improve my body in any way.'

Corey gathered the energy above his palm using his telekinesis, and a golden swirl of what looked like dust hovered above his palm.

A stream of information suddenly entered his head, and his eyes brightened.

'Although this energy cannot help me, it would be extremely beneficial to Maledro's Gu which is currently undergoing a metamorphosis.'

'I wonder what changes would occur after they finish undergoing their evolution.'

Without hesitation, Corey channelled the energy toward the Maledro's Gu that were asleep in his Poison Infinity Crystal.

He observed them for a moment, making sure that nothing wrong happened or that there was no negative changes to them.

After seeing that nothing unusual was happening, he kept on walking while channeling the golden energy into the Maledro's Gu and assigning one of his Stars of Consciousness to keep watch over his Maledro's Gu.

He looked down, and when he saw how tiny everything looked from above, he was slightly marvelled by everything.

Although he could fly, he had never been this high up in the sky, and it felt exhilarating to him being so high up in the sky.

'Feels nice.'

Corey shifted his gaze to Kiefer, Selene, and Willow. He wanted to see how they were doing and if they were able to fully absorb the benefits of the golden energy.

When he saw that they were not affected by the force acting on them, and they were also able to absorb the energy and gain its benefits, he nodded his head in satisfaction.

'Selene is still a Tier 4, but her foundations are a lot stronger and more robust compared to before. The current her and the past her are like night and day.'

'Kiefer is now a Tier 2, and he's a lot stronger than an average Tier 2. He should not be with us, but according to Pamela, we'll need him in the Chained Firmament. I don't know why Pamela believes so, but she personally vouched for his safety.'

'I'll still have to make sure he's safe and doesn't die since he's a true talent I chanced upon. Even Nina wanted me to take him under my wing.'

'As for Willow, Selene's mother. She's now a Tier 4, and although she's not as strong as Selene since she's not so talented. She's above the average Tier 4 on New Earth.'

'Divine and Pamela really outdid themselves training them and pouring resources into them to make them stronger. Something I just started doing a few days ago.'

'Sigh... I should try and find a way to have more time for those under me.'

Corey shook his head slightly, and then he looked at the Rope of Benevolence and Equality.

'Well, even if they hadn't improved this much, with this rope, they wouldn't have had a problem handling the pressure that's acting on all of us from the Chain of Sovereignty.'

'I can feel the rope taking about ten percent of my stats and mana, and it's distributing it to the others.'

'The same can be said for Pamela, I can see more energy leaving her body and going to the others. Although it doesn't feel like the rope is taking up to ten percent of her stats... Maybe nine percent.'

Although it was a little bit strange feeling ten percent of his stats being taken away, he adapted to it very quickly, and he was also not bothered by it.

It might seem like a small percentage since it was just ten percent, one should not forget that his stats were in the Black Star Realm.

And one percentage was equivalent to at least fifteen percent of the Violet Star Realm.

With ten percent of his stats being shared amongst the others, it was like they were all on steroids. And their stats were boosted many fold.

And the increase they felt was not only due to him. It was also due to Pamela.

Her stats were extremely high, and with the Rope of Benevolence and Equality taking a fraction of both his and Pamela's stats, the power they felt flowing in them made them to feel invincible.

And it also made all of them to realize how monstrous Corey and Pamela were.

With their boosted stats, they were not bothered by the pressure that would have otherwise affected them a long time ago.

They were all able to climb the Chain of Sovereignty and absorb the golden energy along the way.

Minutes turned into hours. And hours eventually turned into days as Corey and the others climbed the Chain of Sovereignty with sweat dripping from their faces.

Unlike before where they all had it easy climbing the Chain of Sovereignty, after reaching a certain point on the chain, the pressure acting on them became a lot stronger.

Even with the stat boost they got from Corey and Pamela, they were still feeling an immense pressure bearing down on them.

Jeremy had a solemn expression, and his face was drenched in sweat as he kept on muttering about how what he was experiencing was training.

The others sometimes looked at him like he was a mad man.

Caesar, Matias, Elizabeth, Rorik, Kiefer, Selene, Willow, and Pamela all had sweat running down their faces as they drew closer to the Chained Firmament.

Even Corey was sweating, and to their surprise, he was sweating the most out of everybody.
