Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 501: 500: Smile

The moment Zal'Zerael invoked its Imperium, reality itself seemed to tremble.

Pamela snapped her head to the sky, and her eyes widened in slight surprise when she saw the chains in the sky and in the ground tremble intensely.

Before she could react, the chains in the sky shattered like a fragile mirror, followed by the chains on the ground. Three seconds passed as quickly as they came, and Pamela's Chainworld shattered.

The dark and thunderous clouds of the sky, and the fractured and destroyed ground of the Raging Sky reappeared in their rightful place, but the moment they appeared, the sky also shattered like a fragile mirror.

Pieces of the heavens fell, raining down shards of crackling, storm-infused energy. In their place was not emptiness, but something far worse.

A swirling expanse of chaotic, otherworldly storms that stretched endlessly into an incomprehensible void. Lightning danced across the expanse, not in erratic bolts, but in massive, deliberate arcs that exuded immense power and gravity. As each bolt moved, they carved runes in the sky that glowed as bright as the sun.

The ground beneath Pamela's feet twisted and writhed, its structure no longer solid. It became a roiling sea of liquid lightning, glowing molten silver and crimson. The surface pulsed with a rhythmic energy, as though the sea of liquid lightning had become Zal'Zerael's heartbeat.

Waves of liquid lightning surged unpredictably, exploding into spirals of electric mist that rose into the transformed sky. The wind roared and moved chaotically, and massive tornadoes were formed and created with every upward movement of electric mist.

Each tornado was a mixture of roaring wind and crackling electricity.

The sound vanished in the wake of Zal'Zerael's Imperium creation. For a single, deafening moment, silence consumed everything, oppressive and absolute. And then, with an earth-shattering crack, the sound returned… but not as a mere noise, but as a Stormsong.

The stormsong was an overwhelming symphony of thunder, wind, and raw power, layered with an unholy melody that seemed to hum directly into Pamela's bones. Each note carried a purpose, a command to destroy and cause despair to those who dared to listen to it.

Zal'Zerael's presence grew impossibly large, its form no longer bound to the dimensions of a physical body. Its wings, now formed entirely of crackling, shifting lightning storms, stretched across the infinite horizon, their edges dissolving into the churning void.

Each beat of its wings generated not mere gusts, but hurricanes of wind laced with thick bolts of chaos energy. They tore apart everything in their path and reformed it into jagged shards of storm-forged matter.

Zal'Zerael's eyes burned brighter than ever, twin suns of molten white energy, unblinking and absolute. From those eyes radiated streams of electric veins that connected to the stormy sky above, tethering Zal'Zerael to the very essence of the Imperium.

Each pulse of those veins sent waves of energy cascading across the battlefield, bending the already unstable terrain into impossible, shifting patterns.

Above, the churning sky began to form something terrifyingly deliberate, Storm Constellations.

The massive, glowing arcs of lightning traced massive runes across the endless stormy expanse in the sky. These runes transformed into planets, stars, and asteroids made entirely out of solid storms.

These constellations moved, shifted, and twisted in ways that defied logic. Their shapes were impossible to fully comprehend.

From these constellations descended beings of the storm, constructs of raw energy and chaos were given form. They resembled dragons, serpents, and other incomprehensible monstrosities, their bodies made entirely of lightning and plasma.

They moved with a fluidity that betrayed their size, circling Zal'Zerael protectively.

The lightning that rained from above was no longer mere energy. Each bolt was infused with the runes of the storm that glowed with a malevolent light, their presence warped the air and ground around them.

At the centre of it all, Zal'Zerael hovered, its voice resonating through the stormsong like the voice of an ancient deity.

"Behold, Outsider… The power of One of The Seven Deadly Powers of The Old Ones… The Power of The Thunderborn Calamity of The Raging Heavens… Here, I am Calamity Incarnate… Here, I am Absolute."

The liquid lightning sea surged upward the moment Zal'Zerael spoke. It formed massive tendrils that lashed out in every direction, their touch disintegrating anything they encountered. The tendrils moved with purpose, guided by the will of Zal'Zerael itself, their arcs of energy leaving trails of destruction that rippled outward endlessly.

Pamela stood amidst the chaos, her infinity-marked silver eyes reflecting the unholy beauty of the Imperium.

For the first time since she received her powers and talent, her confidence was challenged and it faltered for a brief moment.

The storm seemed to challenge her confidence as if daring her to stand against its might. The air around her burned with static, each breath a struggle as the Imperium pressed down like a mountain of energy.

The reasons why she could stand despite the massive pressure and weight of Zal'Zerael's Imperium were because of the runes that were in a ten-meter (10m) radius around her which helped alleviate the pressure she was feeling, her extremely powerful physique, and her infinite mana which she used to counter the pressure of the Imperium.

Because she was in Zal'Zerael's Imperium, she could only control the runes that were in a ten-meter radius around her. Experience tales at empire

Worst of all, if the runes shattered or got destroyed, there was no way she could use the runes around her because they were the runes of Zal'Zerael's Imperium. However, if she used her all and had enough time, she knew that she could find a way to take control of some of the runes in the draconic abomination's world.

But would Zal'Zerael give her such time or the freedom to do such?

Absolutely not.

If the powerful rune masters in the universe heard or saw that even with Zal'Zerael's Imperium, Pamela could still manipulate runes in the draconic abomination's Imperium, the words 'shock' and 'disbelief' would be an understatement to the reaction they would have.

Not only was Zal'Zerael a Power, which was equivalent to a Tier 6. Zal'Zerael was much stronger than a lot of powerful Tier 6s, and it could hold its own against even Tier 7s.

With the abilities it had, its Imperium was abnormally powerful, and manipulating runes in such an Imperium should not be possible.

But who was Pamela?

The baddest bitch in the entire fucking universe!

As Pamela gazed at Zal'Zerael and the Imperium, she came to the realization that this was not a battlefield.

No!

This was an Annihilation Incarnate… It was a realm where no mortal and maybe even Immortals could hope to survive.

And yet, Pamela smiled.
