Chapter 427.

Zhu Zhuqing's ethereal presence resembled a celestial goddess bathed in moonlight, radiating an aura of cold mystery and otherworldly grace. Her temperament transformed dramatically when her martial soul possessed her body, amplifying her speed to a level unmatched among the group.

Nearby, Tang San's Blue Silver Emperor unfurled in all directions, pulsating with life. Its verdant energy conveyed an overwhelming sense of vitality and abundance, though the faint edge of a concealed murderous intent lurked beneath its surface.

Oscar, his eyes gleaming with focus, deftly crafted sausages with astonishing speed. Over the years, his grilled sausages had evolved to boast a variety of effects—restoration, flight, enhancements of 10%, 50%, and even 100% to various attributes, and a particularly unique soul ability. Vibrant, multicolored sausages quickly formed in his hands, each tailored to the most suitable recipient.

Five years had passed since their last reunion, and every member, except for Tang San, had gained two additional soul abilities, each marked by a powerful ten-thousand-year old soul ring. Their martial souls had grown significantly stronger, and their strength had risen to incredible heights.

Advancing from level 20 to level 40, or from level 40 to 60, was no small feat—each breakthrough represented an entirely new realm of power. Now, they stood as five Soul Emperors, with Tang San exceeding even that lofty status. The combined might they could unleash was terrifying.

Despite Xiao Wu's absence, the remaining six united once again, their singular goal clear, to uncover whether the enigmatic Six-Ring Soul Emperor was Wang Feng or not.

In the shadows of the forest, three figures observed the group with intense focus. The Master, Flender, and Zhao Wuji had arrived unnoticed, their gazes locked on the unfolding scene.

"Xiao Gang, do you think this Six-Ring Soul Emperor could be Wang Feng?" Flender asked, his voice low but tinged with urgency.

The Grandmaster brow furrowed as he contemplated. "I don't know. The guard said this person is here to find me. If it is Xiao Feng, why would he conceal his identity under the guise of the Six-Ring Soul Emperor instead of revealing himself outright?"

Flender nodded thoughtfully, his eyes narrowing. "It's been five years without any news from him. The timing of this appearance feels too coincidental to just dismiss. But why would he hide behind a fabricated identity?"

"Could there be something he can't explain?" Zhao Wuji speculated. "Perhaps there are people he wants to avoid—or protect—from knowing he's here."

"That's plausible," Flender murmured. "If he has a reason to avoid direct contact, it must be something serious. Otherwise, why go to such lengths?"

"It's also possible he is an imposter," the Grandmaster countered. "We'll know soon enough by watching the battle."

The trio turned their full attention to the battlefield.

The Shrek Seven Devils were no longer the same as they had been five years ago; their strength had grown to astonishing levels.

Tang San, though standing apart for now, was quietly assessing the strongest among them—Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong.

Ning Rongrong's Nine Treasure Cloud Star Pagoda stood as a beacon of unparalleled support. Its enhancements were unmatched, capable of increasing the abilities of her teammates by at least two levels, transforming their collective might.

Meanwhile, Zhu Zhuqing's strength shone through her formidable physical prowess and martial soul. Tang San couldn't help but feel a sense of awe as he observed her.

Despite undergoing rigorous training under his father for two years, awakening the Blue Silver Emperor, and surviving the trials of the City of Slaughter, Tang San realized Zhu Zhuqing's physical strength now surpassed his own.

Her speed, especially, was something he could not hope to rival.

Dai Mubai stood firm, the golden-white brilliance of his Evil Eye White Tiger martial soul radiating an aura of dominance. His third and fifth soul abilities unleashed a formidable increase in both attack and defense, boosting his overall attributes by a staggering 200%. Despite his overwhelming power, he still fell slightly short of Zhu Zhuqing in terms of sheer speed and agility.

Ma Hongjun, the group's long-range attack specialist, demonstrated his versatility. His fiery soul abilities were devastating from afar, but his agility and close-combat skills ensured he wasn't an easy target. His ability to fly gave him an additional edge, allowing him to adapt to various combat situations effortlessly.

Zhu Zhuqing was the first to launch an attack.

"Ah…"

The Six-Ring Soul Emperor sighed softly, his voice carrying an air of calm inevitability. As the words faded, his figure vanished abruptly, leaving only a faint blur in his wake.

The speed was blinding—so fast that even the most seasoned eyes could barely track him.

Zhu Zhuqing's expression shifted, her martial soul reacting instinctively as her spirit ring glowed.

Boom!

A single punch from the Six-Ring Soul Emperor sent her hurtling backward, but the figure that took the blow was only a clone.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

Three identical Zhu Zhuqing figures emerged from different directions, closing in on the opponent simultaneously. At the same time, Tang San's strengthened Blue Silver Grass extended outward, coiling around the Six-Ring Soul Emperor in an attempt to restrain him.

But the Six Ringed Soul Emperor's body merely trembled, shattering the Blue Silver Grass with raw physical force.

Tang San's eyes narrowed in shock. His body…

How could it be that strong? If so, this must be the Six-Ring Soul Emperor. But is it brother Feng?

Tang San knew the resilience of his current Blue Silver Grass—it was far tougher than before. Even a Soul Sage above level 70 would struggle to break free so effortlessly. Yet this man had done so without using any discernible soul power.

It confirmed what Tang San feared: the physical strength of this Six-Ring Soul Emperor was terrifyingly powerful.

This level of physical prowess… it's comparable to an Attack-type Soul Douluo, Tang San thought to himself, his heart heavy. Perhaps even close to a Title Douluo.

The realization unsettled him. Five years ago, the Six-Ring Soul Emperor hadn't come close to the strength of a Title Douluo. Now, his overwhelming physical abilities seemed even greater than before.

With his immense physicality, the Six-Ring Soul Emperor was able to suppress both Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing simultaneously, all while deftly avoiding Ma Hongjun's ranged attacks.

However, as the battle unfolded, a hint of unease crept into Tang San's mind.

Something isn't right, he mused. The Six-Ring Soul Emperor is stronger than before, but he isn't overpowering us. He's holding back—he hasn't used his soul power or entered that special fighting state where –his speed and strength skyrocket. If he did, he could defeat us instantly.

As if responding to his thoughts, Tang San decided to join the fray. His fighting ability had grown immensely, and with the Eight Spider Lances and Clear Sky Hammer, he rivaled Dai Mubai in raw combat potential.

His entry into the battlefield shifted the tide of battle. Though the group's coordination was not as seamless after five years apart, their sheer power was undeniable. Slowly but surely, the Six-Ring Soul Emperor began to show signs of strain. "Eight Spider Lances!"

Tang San's voice cut through the clash of battle. In the distance, Ma Hongjun unleashed Phoenix Howling Sky Strike, the ground trembling beneath the eruption of molten lava.

Simultaneously, Tang San's Eight Spider Lances extended outward, and the Blue Silver Grass coiled tightly, locking onto their elusive opponent.

'Brother Feng, are you really not going to reveal your true strength?' Tang San wondered, his resolve firm.
