SHIELD's new recruits

Chapter 193 A must-death mission?

"Agent Sitwell." A group of people walked in. Their goal was an operation command center, also called a war room. There are many such places in S.H.I.E.L.D., and each command center has an eighth-level agent in charge .

Sitwell is still a sixth-level agent and works at the headquarters. He is a member of Hydra, but Phil Coulson is still very enthusiastic when he greets him.

"Agent Coulson, oh...and Agent Wesley Gibson, it's been a long time. How are you doing outside?" Sitwell greeted him with a smile on his face.

"It's not bad. It's not as comfortable as the headquarters, but it's very pleasant." Phil Coulson said with a smile.

"Agent Hand is waiting for you in the situation room, please follow me." Sitwell led the way ahead, his big bald head was a good signpost.

The door of the Situation Room needed face recognition. Sitwell said as he walked, "Agents above level [-] can join. Wesley and Melinda can follow." She also went in, and Skye wanted to follow, but Wesley directly held her back.

"Agents above level seven, what are you doing next?" Wesley finished speaking and Melinda entered it.

Skye looked at it, then looked back at Fitz and Simmons and asked, "What does he mean?"

Fitz said: "Hmm, what he meant is obvious, you can't get in, and neither can Simmons and I, but our situation is better than yours, at most we just don't open the door, but if you go... ..." Fitz hesitated.

"How was my past?" Skye asked curiously.

"If you go over, your metal bracelet will be sucked. Do you see the square metal under the identification system? If you lean over, you will be sucked." Simmons added on the side.

"Really?" Skye didn't believe it, so she walked over, and the right hand with the metal ring was suddenly pulled away, and it was directly attached to the metal square. She couldn't pull it off no matter what, she wanted to turn around and ask for help. Has run away without a trace.

Skye looked around helplessly, but no one looked at her with strange eyes. I guess this kind of thing happened a lot, right? She regretted it a little, Wesley clearly reminded himself, and waited idly against the wall.

"Agent Hand." The three followed Jasper Sitwell into the command center.

"Agent Coulson, Agent Wesley Gibson, and Agent Melinda." A tall woman turned around and greeted them.

Detective Victoria Hand, Level [-], is in charge of a command center at the headquarters. He is tall and well-proportioned. There is a strand of red hair on his long hair, and he wears black-rimmed glasses.

Victoria Hand greeted, and then said: "The information you brought back shows that an independent organization in South Ossetia has manufactured a sonic oscillator, and they intend to use this weapon within the next 24 hours."

Then some pictures of weapons were displayed on the huge screen in the command center, "We believe that this weapon can be activated and used at a long distance, and can destroy all means of attack, including fighter planes, missiles and even nuclear bombs."

"Now I need a two-person team to sneak into the disputed territory, enter the headquarters of this organization, and destroy this weapon within 24 hours. Your team is undoubtedly the most suitable." After Victoria Hand finished speaking, he watched With Phil Coulson.

"No problem, my team members are up to the task." Phil Coulson nodded.

"In addition, one of these two people must be proficient in weapons and can guarantee that they can destroy or dismantle weapons." Victoria Hand added, and Phil Coulson became uneasy.

If it's Wesley and Melinda sneaking in there's no problem at all but if it's Fitz he's a technician not a combatant even if Wesley has been training them but that's not short term things that can be done within.

The three of them left the command center with the mission information, and Wesley said, "How could we be given such a mission? And it was already obvious that we were asked to bring Fitz with us. We couldn't kill him with him."

"Are you suspicious?" Phil Coulson asked.

"I don't know if a sonic weapon is really that powerful, and how can a small organization of theirs have this kind of technology?"

"You think it's a trap?"

"Who knows? But I'll take care of this matter on my own. I don't need to bring Fitz with me. I'll just take the things back and let Fitz study it. I can keep it for my own use if necessary."

Phil Coulson stopped in his tracks, then looked at Wesley and said, "You can't use armor, that would make the situation even worse. This is bad news for the Avengers."

"Hmm, I understand, maybe some people want me to use the armor, but it doesn't matter, I can still enter there without the armor, and come out with things."

"It's dangerous for you not to use the battle armor. Are you sure you want to do this? Otherwise, I'll let Melinda accompany you!"

"No, it's more convenient to be alone, don't worry, and after we finish the task, can we rest in the headquarters for a while?"

"Are you going on a date with Hill? What if Skye finds out?"

"No, no, I want to invite Skye to dinner, but there are no good restaurants where we usually stay."

The mission was decided in this way, and Wesley went alone, and they were not flying at their own flight base. This time, the headquarters was responsible for the transportation, but Wesley needed to return to the plane to organize the equipment.

Jasper Sitwell is in Alexander Pierce's office, "Mr. Minister, this task does not seem to be very difficult for them, even if there is no evacuation plan."

"I know, but if Wesley Gibson doesn't use his armor, it's very dangerous for him. Let the satellites be prepared. Once he uses the armor, he must record it, understand?"

"Understood, do you want to let the international community fully understand this matter?"

"Smart, Nick Fury got Captain America into the headquarters, and Phil Coulson led the 'Jazz' to form a separate team outside. I don't know how much he understands, but these are threats to us. It is one thing to be able to get rid of one, but we can’t do it ourselves, there will be loopholes if we do it, the ‘insight plan’ must not be missed.”

"Yes, I understand." Jasper Sitwell turned and left, while Alexander Pierce stood by the floor-to-ceiling windows and looked at the large lake outside the headquarters. From here, he could clearly see the steel gate below him. The snake's hope.

"Long live the Hydra!"
