Shadow of the Abyss

Chapter 350: Nox De Nier II

"Ok… let's start over," Altair said. "What did you mean when you said that my name is now Nox?"

Tasha took a deep breath and said, "In order to keep your identity alongside many others, you are given a vessel that'll slowly become you. Think of it as your Persona. That vessel is directly tied to you. If it dies, you die. If it bleeds, you bleed."

"To what end?" Altair couldn't help but ask, gesturing her to his bedside. She sauntered over, propping herself down.

"It's done to force major houses from monopolizing on their family name. The only ones who know who you are are your patron god you deem fit." Tasha lightly explained. She took him by his hand and opened it to reveal an unfamiliar palm. "For people like us, vessels don't really mean anything due to the fact that our blood is being channeled through our soul. You've been in Nox's body for a month.

He's practically you; the only difference is your exterior, and even that will change in another month or if—"

"I feed," Altair finished, nearly forgetting the sensation of hunger.

"Correct.' Tasha slithered onto his lap, nesting herself over his crotch, and brushed her long obsidian hair of silk away to reveal her throbbing neck vein, which seemed more attractive than the demoness on his lap.

Altair gulped, calling upon the Soul of the Indominable to stay his hunger. "You look the same," he managed to say."

"I'm a devil. A Soul Species. We don't really need to adapt." She turned her feverish eyes towards her Master, continuing," You should eat, your grace. This quest might be a difficult one. Your body is still numb, right?"

'Quest?' Only now did Altair take a look through his archives

Altair eyes widened, though it could have been due to the wave of nausea surging up his gut into his throat. He shook, pushing it back down when he felt Tasha's warm body lean against his chest. He swallowed hard, feeling his blood traveling down below.

"Just one sip. You're a little too strong for me." He reluctantly said, as his eyes took on a deep shade of red. His lips brushed across the nape of her neck as his vision grew murky. It had been so long since he'd faced the pains and pleasure of sanguine lust. Even in the Lake of Rot, he had Syris to sustain him.

In his haze, driven by his Omniscience, two symmetrical pink dots revealed themselves across Tasha's neck, garnering Altair attention. Instinctually, his lips brushed across Tasha's smooth skin, savoring the sensual aroma she held. It was nothing he ever could imagine. It was almost like a peach but different.

He heard her pur, finding a smile, as his fangs began to protrude from his lips, slowly sinking down over those two fine points.

"Ah~" Tasha flushed, echoing a moan she didn't know she had. She squirmed, taken back by the sensation of utter euphoria that left her heart pounding in her chest. All her training seemed to vanish beneath Altair's fangs. Feeling him draw blood out of her, she thought that perhaps she was going to melt in his embrace.

She was growing hotter, her pants heavier, as her loins were lit ablaze by an intensity she'd felt in the presence of those who held absolute authority over her existence. From a slow burn to a thrumming ache, the likes she never could imagine, she covered her mouth, feeling her strength drain away.

Altair would have kicked himself for not noticing if he had known how appetizing Tasha looked right now. Instead, he felt lost. Tasha's blood was heavy, rich, and delicate, overwhelming him with a few CCs that sent jolts through his entire being. It wasn't warm like others but hot like fire, heating his core temperature to heights it had never reached before.

In seconds, his withered muscles and emaciated flesh grew tenfold, regaining their luscious exterior. His snow-white hair, which was once withered and brittle, brightened, returning to life, reaching to his knee.

"Master~" Tasha demurely mewled. Blushing as his naughty palm slipped into her robes to cup her firm breast. Her breath labored as anticipation continued to build.

Reluctantly, Altair was forced to stop after Fifty CCs of blood were drawn, far too full to continue. Anymore, he felt his belly might explode. Tasha was simply too much for him, then he wanted to admit. Oddly enough, he found that there were no changes to his Attributes. Instead, it had seemed like his fourth Vale Stars appeared to devour any residual growths he might have experienced.

"W-W-Why'd you stop?" Tasha suddenly exclaimed, finding herself left with a sudden gust of cold. She turned with a pleading eye towards her Master, taken back by the handsome lordling before her.

He seemed… so full of life that it was hard to believe that husk of him from before was really him.

Realizing where his left hand was placed, Altair grinned, noticing several more pink dots where his hands were rested.

'Are these her weak spots?' he wondered, not wanting his Omniscience to fully ruin the surprise. He'd only recently gained it but found he had to actively press down its abilities, or else it would activate his instincts, revealing what his inner heart desired.

It wasn't using much energy, but it was enough to put him in the dirt later in the night if he continued to perceive Tasha's Erogenous Zones.

"Why are you so red?" Altair asked.

For all her shamelessness, Tasha suddenly felt embarrassed to answer him, bowing her head and unsure what had come over her. Yet the stimulation was still writhing across her body as if she'd taken an aphrodisiac. She hadn't. She knew she hadn't, but the stimulation Altair had caused had nearly made her want to…

"Tasha… You are a little too wet," Altair noticed, glancing down at his translucent white robes stained by her nectar. He smiled deviously, enjoying teasing her more than he wanted to admit. It wasn't every day that the table turned like they had.

"Y-Y-You just caught me off guard, is all," Tasha softly mentioned, letting loose another laborious breath of hot air when Altair's naughty left hand began to savor her breast.

"hnnng~" she moaned, throwing her head back against his chest. Saliva pooled from her sweet lips down her chin onto her breast being savaged.

"How'd~You~Get~so~GOOD! Ahhh~" she cried out in surprise.

Jerking her hips up as a jolt of pleasure lanced up her spine, hitting her brain, Tasha's eyes grew hazy as her lips parted, only to be sealed by Altair's tongue exploring every crevice of her mouth. She tasted sweet and zesty, like spicy honey.

Just then, a few knocks echoed at the door as a voice said, " Young Master?" The doorknob turned, and the door opened to reveal Altair in bed with his eyes closed and Tasha over him, hiding his lower half with her body hovering over his bedside.

The look Tasha gave Layla appeared to come from hell itself, for blood exploded from the maid's eyes, taking her sight before the painful lance of agony echoed from her lips like a banshee's wail.

Layla toppled to her knees, clutching her hollow sockets, wanting to scream, but with a single silent spell, her voice faded into the void.

"Enough," Altair said, glancing at the maid. He frowned and glanced at Tasha. "Who is she to enter my room without permission?"

Tasha frowned, nearly forgetting their current predicament. "She is a maid of this manor, Young Master."

Altair frowned slightly, calling forth the Soul of Nox De Nier into his sea of consciousness. He'd wanted to make the soul one of his Shadows, but he was far too weak to do so. Instead, he had his Omniscience give him a light overview of what this Nox was like.

[Warm, Caring, Prideful, Vengeful, Honorable and Calm]

"Take her to the fields and have her whip," Altair commanded as Tasha sauntered forward, snatching Layla by the hair before dragging her outside onto the lawn of the Annex. As dozens of maids watched, Tasha ruthlessly stripped her down and began lashing as her flesh her with a whip made of mana.

Altair watched from his room, glancing down at his erect dragon, which simply refused to go down. He sighed, rose to his feet, and threw off his soaked clothes. He hadn't noticed it before, but he could see mold along the walls of the manner while dust and cobwebs were present alongside the bedding and window.

He frowned, opening his closet to see a cloud of dust sweeping towards him, only to be pushed aside by his Almighty Resistance.

"What type god damn situation is this?" he shook his head, pulling out a set of trousers and tunic to wear and got changed.

"Y-Y-Young master?" said a voice that nearly startled Altair. Despite his state of awareness, he didn't feel the presence of someone approaching him.

He turned, glancing at the tall-looking man with a monocle. He was finely dressed and held a cane in one hand. He was middle-aged, though he looked older and had a head full of grey.

Altair glanced at him but didn't say much. Instead, he glanced at the mirror, where even his appearance seemed murky from a clear lack of maintenance. Still, he didn't speak, coldly surveying the state of his room.

"Another guest," said Tasha, making her presence known behind the head butler. She smiled, walking past him to Altair. "I didn't clean up because I thought you'd have wanted to see the state of your house when you awoke after your 1000-year slumber, Young Master Nox."
