"The Soul Melting Technique is the supreme skill of another world. According to it, what I'll have to do is melt my soul, my Priesthood, and my body into the Godhead, fight against the remaining consciousness of the previous God inside of it, and gain absolute control of it."

This process seemed simple but was actually very dangerous, as one would have to use their soul to fight against the consciousness of the previous owner of the Godhead.

For most people, such a thing was almost impossible, and they would most likely die.

After all, it was not she who would fight against that consciousness, but her God Clone.

Without needing her instructions, the God Clone stared at the Godhead in front of it and reached out, placing its right hand on its surface.

Then, the whole body of the God Clone began melting, turning into a golden liquid that dripped on the Godhead and was subsequently absorbed.

In the next second, the consciousness of the God Clone appeared inside another dark space and saw a giant transparent figure standing in the distance.

The appearance of this figure was blurry, making it impossible to see its true appearance, but it exuded a powerful and majestic aura.

Chu Wuyao originally thought that the two of them would communicate before taking action, but the moment this figure saw her God Clone, it pounced on it.

In a hurry, the God Clone could only choose to raise its hands to defend itself from the incoming attack.

"Boom!"

The attack of the transparent figure landed on the God Clone, and even though the God Clone didn't suffer any damage, it had to take a few steps back, obviously being at a disadvantage.

If the real Chu Wuyao was here, it wouldn't have taken much effort to deal with the remaining consciousness of the God, but the God Clone was only one of her clones, an abandoned small part of her soul.

This meant that its soul strength was way weaker than Chu Wuyao's, only equivalent to an ordinary Fake God.

The moment it did, the Mist World Authority melted into a white liquid and poured into the Godhead, while Chu Wuyao's connection with it disappeared.

After all, although the Mist World Authority was a High-Grade Authority, it wasn't complementary to her Six Paths Vision, meaning that it would never become one of its aspects.

This meant that even if she were to lose it, her strength wouldn't suffer very much.

Turning her focus back to the battle that was happening inside the Godhead, Chu Wuyao saw that the moment the Mist World Authority melted into it, her God Clone seemed to have received a powerful supplement and its strength improved, no longer being at a disadvantage when facing the blurry figure.

"At this rate, it's only a matter of time before my clone fully suppresses that consciousness and wipes it out.", Chu Wuyao judged and was somewhat relieved.

She understood that this not only meant that her God Clone could practice again, but that a well-hidden threat that she had been previously oblivious about had also disappeared.

After all, since there was a consciousness hidden inside the Godhead, it could always take action and fight with her clone over the control of the Godhead.

Then, she exited this space and returned to reality, before turning towards the center of the Howling Ghost Forest and saluting.

"Thank you senior for your help.", she said, knowing very well that someone had given her that light to help her solve the issues of her God Clone.

Her words didn't receive an answer, as if that person had already gone away.

Even then, Chu Wuyao didn't let down her guard.

Jumping up, she walked out of the makeshift room, planning to pick up Li Ruoshi and Xia Qianyue and leave this place.
