Settle at Hogwarts
Chapter 161 The arm is gone
The surrounding students quickly discovered what was going on here and gathered around. When he saw Miss Ram arriving, he hurriedly made way for a large open space.
Tabor also looked a little gloomy when he looked at Professor Kettleburn's injuries. The snake venom that was on the palm just now has spread to the arm.The bitten palm seemed to disappear out of thin air.
Miss Ram was also a little helpless: "Tabor, use the floating spell. Let's take Kettleburn back to the hospital wing first."
"Okay, Miss Ram."
When Tubb brought Professor Kettleburn, who had fallen into a coma, to the hospital wing, Principal Dippet, Professor Dumbledore, and Professor Slughorn had already gathered here.
"Did any students get hurt because of him this time?"
When Principal Dippet heard that Kettleburn had another accident, the first thing he thought about was whether he had implicated anyone else.
"Mr. Principal, Professor Kettleburn was just an accident this time. No one else was injured." Tabor put Professor Kettleburn on the hospital bed and found that the toxin corroded faster. Most of the arm has disappeared.
Purple venom even dripped from the wound, corroding the white sheets and creating a purple-black hole.
"It's good that no students were injured. Albus, haven't you found someone who can replace this guy?"
Principal Dippet had apparently had enough of Professor Kettleburn's reckless behavior.
"Sorry, you know. There is always some danger in being in the company of magical animals, so there is no capable person willing to take over this position." Dumbledore's expression was full of embarrassment.
"We'll keep him for inspection after he recovers." After Principal Dippet finished speaking, he left the medical wing directly.
He was still very relieved about Dumbledore, the vice-principal, and he really didn't want to have anything to do with Kettleburn's affairs.
"Tubo, what happened this time?" Dumbledore stared at Tubo and Hagrid, who ran behind him.
"Hagrid and I went to see Professor Kettleburn... The snake attacked Professor Kettleburn and then left."
"Tub, Hagrid, you can go back first."
Dumbledore and Slughorn next to him looked at each other, and both felt that Kettleburn's injury was their own fault.
"Okay, Professor Dumbledore."
"Okay, okay Dean."
After walking out of the hospital wing, Tabor remembered the sheets that had been corroded by the venom: "Hagrid, when you ran back holding Professor Kettleburn just now, did the venom splash on you?"
Thinking of what he had just seen, Hagrid checked his body in a panic. Then when he discovered the holes in the school robe that were obviously corroded, the expression on his face gradually turned into horror.
Tabor pulled open the school uniform around the hole, revealing Hagrid's strong skin, and saw a few drops of purple liquid hanging on the skin.
"Hagrid, don't move."
After slowly collecting the few drops of venom into the crystal bottle, Tabor discovered that Hagrid's skin showed no signs of corrosion.
"Okay, Hagrid. I discovered another advantage of yours. Such a powerful venom can't do anything to you at all!"
"Really?" Hagrid heard the compliment in Tabor's tone and scratched his head in embarrassment.
But thinking of Professor Kettleburn who was still lying in the hospital wing, Hagrid asked with some worry: "Is this poison really powerful? Professor Kettleburn is fine, if he doesn't take us there , so you won’t be bitten.”
"It's not your problem. The professors will cure him, but as far as I know Professor Kettleburn is often injured. Those magical animals have many weird abilities, so wizards should be careful when dealing with them. Stay vigilant, unless you have a physique like yours." Tabor comforted this big boy whose heart did not match his appearance.
Hearing that Professor Kettleburn could be cured, Hagrid was visibly relieved.
Tabor rubbed his forehead tiredly. He was just overflowing with sympathy for a moment. He wanted to let Hagrid see the charm of magical animals in advance. How did it end up like this?If it leaves Hagrid with the knowledge that magical animals are dangerous, then...it seems good.
"Okay, I'm going to the kitchen to find some food. Hagrid, do you want to come with me?"
"kitchen?"
"Yes, let's go together. It's also acquaintance. If you miss the meal or are not full, you can find something to eat. However, it is a bit far from your Gryffindor lounge."
"That's great. I've been feeling hungry a lot lately." Hagrid's voice was full of excitement.
Tabor looked at Hagrid, who had only grown a few centimeters in just one month, and nodded in agreement: "You really need to eat more, otherwise you won't grow taller."
Hagrid did not retort, but followed Tubo into the Hogwarts kitchen.Under the extremely excited eyes of the house elves, he ate up a large bowl of food.
After filling his stomach and returning to the dormitory to deal with the gossipy Zane, Tabor lay on the bed.
Today, when faced with a sudden attack, Tabor felt that his reaction was still a little slow.
Although Professor Kettleburn moved on his own, Hagrid pulled him away from the vital point. His magic missed the snake's head, but the snake's teeth still bit the professor's finger.
Tabor kept thinking about it in his mind. If his first reaction was not to attack the snake head, but to put a protective spell on Professor Kettleburn first, or turn the thing in front of him into a shield, would he be able to avoid it? Injured?
The next day, when Tabor went to the auditorium for a meal, he heard the latest information about yesterday's events.
After receiving treatment, Professor Kettleburn's life was no longer in danger. The snake venom has been completely removed, but his arm was not saved.
"Tubo, do you know? Yesterday you and the tall Gryffindor guy brought Professor Kettleburn back together, and Professor Dumbledore gave you 30 points each."
"ok, I get it."
Tubo looked at the long Gryffindor table and found that there were many people around Hagrid. They all seemed to want Hagrid to tell him about yesterday's experience.
The added 30 points obviously made his classmates more friendly towards this tall, somewhat clumsy guy.
“Zane, eat slowly, I’ll go to the hospital wing to see Professor Kettleburn.”
After Tubo finished speaking, he quickly walked to the hospital wing through the secret passage. By this time, Professor Kettleburn was fully awake.
"Oh, Tabor, don't tell me that you are also here to comfort me. I have heard comforting words several times since I woke up."
