Second Iteration; Revelations

This story has already happened. It happened a long time ago and nothing can be done to save them. Their story is already over and the eternal punishment that they will endure will be theirs alone... At least that would've been case until they met the him. 

His back was facing "them" as he was inside of the Atrium, looking into the light.

"Will I see you again?" They asked.

He turned around and their eyes met. He gave "them" a soft and kind smile. A smile that was deeply engraved into their memory. That was the last time the Anomaly saw that man.
