Satoru Gojo With Dimensional System

Chapter 37: A Strange Alliance

Tanjiro Kamado's bewilderment was evident. This man, Gojo Satoru, had vaporized a demon in an instant without a Nichirin blade or a recognizable Demon Blood Art. And his energy... it was incomprehensible.

"Help each other?" Tanjiro repeated, his sword still on guard. "I don't know who you are, but demons are a threat to humanity. If you can really eliminate them like that..."

"I can, and I do," Gojo interrupted with his trademark smile. "But I'm not here to join whatever it is you have. I'm looking for the origin of a 'dimensional anomaly' that brought me here. And it seems these 'demons' are connected to it."

The mention of a "dimensional anomaly" confused Tanjiro, but Gojo, with his ability to read the environment, understood that he would have to simplify things.

"Let's just say I'm a researcher of strange phenomena," Gojo continued. "And these demons, however noisy they may be, are only symptoms of a larger problem. I need to find the 'boss' of these demons, the one who created them, to understand the root of this 'anomaly.'"

At that moment, a faint moan caught Tanjiro's attention. On his back, inside the wooden box, Nezuko was stirring. Gojo sensed it instantly, a different demonic energy signature, controlled, but unmistakable.

"Oh, and you have a demon on your back," Gojo noted, unsurprised. "Interesting. I suppose that's the 'exception' that allows you to travel with them, right?"

Tanjiro tensed, protecting the box. "This is Nezuko. My sister! She's never harmed a human. I'm taking her to find a cure!"

Gojo approached the box, ignoring Tanjiro's caution. His Infinity activated, and he could see Nezuko, her demonic aura controlled by the Blood Will, a kind of demonic blood that sustained her human consciousness.

"I see. Exceptional willpower for a demon. Fascinating." He extended a finger and touched the box. The demon inside shuddered, not from fear, but from Gojo's overwhelming energy.

"Don't worry. I won't harm him," Gojo assured him. "In fact, his very existence is a clue to this anomaly. A demon that doesn't attack humans... This breaks the rules. And I love things that break the rules."

[Critical Plot Mission Updated!]

[Secondary Objective: Investigate Nezuko Kamado's ability to suppress her demonic instincts and her potential for returning to humanity.]

[Additional Reward: 5,000 DP and 'Lead on the Evil Egg Corruption'.]

Gojo smiled inwardly. Ah, so the little girl is important to the plot. Interesting.

"Look, Tanjiro," Gojo said, returning to his casual tone. "You're looking for the demon king, Muzan Kibutsuji, right? I'm looking for the source of these dimensional anomalies, and I suspect that guy has something to do with it. We could travel together. You take me to the strongest demons, and I'll help you exterminate them. And while I'm at it, I'll investigate your sister. Deal?"

Tanjiro hesitated. This man was an enigma, but his power was undeniable, and his strange aura held no trace of malice. Nezuko, inside the box, stirred once more, as if giving her approval.

"All right," Tanjiro finally said, with a deep sense of responsibility. "But if you try to harm Nezuko, I won't hesitate to confront you."

"Just the way I like it. A strong spirit," Gojo reached out to shake Tanjiro's hand. "Now, what's your first clue about these 'Demons of the Twelve Moons,' or whatever they have? Because to understand the anomaly, I need to see the heavy hitters."

Thus began the unlikely alliance between the Demon Slayer and the Strongest Sorcerer. The Demon Slayer universe was about to experience a level of power and chaos it had never seen before, as Gojo Satoru prepared to unravel the mysteries of demonic energy and its connection to dimensional rifts.
