Chapter 3: Chapter 3: A New Day At Hanseo Academy
Chapter 3: A Glimpse of the Past
As Ha-Na settled into the plush leather seat of the Rolls-Royce, she couldn't help but feel a sense of disorientation. Everything about her life seemed to have changed overnight, and she was struggling to keep up.
Mr. Kim, the chauffeur, smiled at her in the rearview mirror. "Good morning, Miss Ha-Na. I trust you're feeling well today?"
Ha-Na nodded, trying to muster up a smile. "Yes, thank you, Mr. Kim."
As the car glided smoothly through the streets, Ha-Na's mind began to wander. She thought back to her life before...before she had transmigrated into this new body. She remembered the orphanage, the endless days of hunger and loneliness, and the struggles she had faced just to survive.
But most of all, she remembered the feeling of being invisible, of being a nobody in a world that seemed to have no place for her.
Ha-Na's eyes pricked with tears as she thought about her past life. How had she ended up here, in this luxurious mansion, with a family that seemed to accept her as one of their own?
The car pulled up in front of a grand, imposing building. Ha-Na's heart skipped a beat as she realized it was her school.
"Welcome to Hanseo Academy, Miss Ha-Na," Mr. Kim said, opening the door for her.
Ha-Na took a deep breath and stepped out of the car. She was ready to face whatever lay ahead, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that her past life was still haunting her.
Ha-Na stepped out of the Rolls-Royce and onto the grounds of Hanseo Academy. The school's grand entrance loomed before her, its stone façade gleaming in the morning light.
As she made her way through the crowds of students, Ha-Na couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Everyone seemed to know each other, and she stuck out like a sore thumb.
Yoon-Ji had helped her pick out a uniform that morning - a crisp white blouse and a plaid skirt that seemed to be the standard attire for Hanseo Academy students.
Ha-Na took a deep breath and pushed open the door to her classroom. The room fell silent as all eyes turned to her.
"Good morning, class," the teacher, Mrs. Kim, said with a warm smile. "Welcome, Ha-Na. Please take a seat."
Ha-Na's eyes scanned the room, searching for an empty seat. That's when she saw him - a boy with piercing blue eyes and chiseled features, sitting in the back of the classroom. He was staring at her with an intensity that made her heart skip a beat.
Ha-Na felt a flush rise to her cheeks as she quickly looked away. She spotted an empty seat near the front of the classroom and made her way towards it, trying to ignore the boy's gaze.
