26 Origin Library
[An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.] - Benjamin Franklin
Azar lay on the floor, his body still and his mind focused. He began to consciously relax every muscle in his body, starting from his toes and slowly moving upward. As he relaxed, he felt a gentle tingling sensation spreading through his limbs, as if the boundary between his physical form and the world around him was beginning to blur.
With his eyes closed, Azar's breathing became slow and rhythmic. He visualized a golden light enveloping his body, growing brighter with each breath he took. The light pulsed softly, in sync with the steady beat of his heart. He focused on this light, allowing it to consume his awareness, until he felt a distinct pull—a gentle, almost imperceptible tug—as if he were being drawn out of his body.
Suddenly, he felt a sensation of weightlessness, as if he was floating in a warm, buoyant sea. His consciousness separated from his physical form, and he found himself hovering above his own body. He looked down and saw himself lying on the floor, his chest rising and falling in a steady rhythm. His physical form appeared peaceful and serene, but his astral self felt an exhilarating sense of freedom.
Azar turned his attention away from his body and directed his focus outward. The room around him seemed to shimmer and shift, the walls dissolving into a translucent haze. He moved effortlessly, gliding through the air, as if propelled by an unseen force. The familiar confines of the room gave way to a vast, ethereal plane, an otherworldly realm bathed in a soft, silvery light.
The astral world was a place of breathtaking beauty and mystery. It was a realm where the boundaries of time and space were fluid, where past, present, and future coexisted in a delicate tapestry. Ethereal landscapes stretched out before him—rolling hills of shimmering mist, forests of crystalline trees that glowed with an inner luminescence, and rivers of liquid light that flowed like molten silver.
Above him, the sky was a swirling canvas of colors, constantly shifting and changing—vivid blues and purples blending seamlessly into radiant golds and pinks. Stars twinkled in the distance, their light casting intricate patterns on the ground below. The air was filled with a harmonious hum, a symphony of sounds that resonated with the very essence of existence.
As Azar moved through this wondrous realm, he sensed the presence of other entities—spirits, guides, and travelers like himself. Some appeared as wisps of light, flitting about like fireflies, while others took on more defined shapes, resembling humans or fantastical creatures. He felt their curiosity and their welcome, but also their caution. This was a place of great power and knowledge, but also of profound respect and responsibility.
Azar's journey took him to the edge of the vast world, where another cosmic one began. Infinitely stretching in the distance, the cosmic world, adorned with bright stars caught in the veil of the night and colored shades dancing for as far as a spirit could see, was home to a diversity of creatures. Some as enchanting as the legendary faeries, some as ugly as the monsters of the abyss.
Take me to the Origin Library, Azar thought. And that thought was enough for his location to change, for him to be sent to another place, facing a massive and bright construction of white light.
That luminous construction was made from pure energy and was known as the Origin Library, the place where the information from all the galaxies and entire creation was stored. It was an immense structure, its walls made of pure light, its corridors stretching infinitely in all directions.
Here, the accumulated wisdom since the beginning of time was stored in the form of—scrolls, books, tablets, and orbs, all glowing with an inner radiance. The knowledge contained within was not just written, but alive, pulsating with the energy of those who had contributed to it.
It has been so long since i last came here, Azar thought.
He approached a grand archway, feeling the hum of energy grow stronger. As he passed through, he felt a profound sense of awe and reverence. This was a place where the secrets of the universe were kept, a repository of endless possibilities and truths. He knew that the answers he sought lay within, and with the Astral Projection Technique now fully integrated into his mind, he was ready to unlock them.
Azar reached out, feeling the energy of the library responding to his touch. A stream of information flowed into his consciousness, vivid images and complex concepts unraveling before him. He absorbed them, his mind expanding with the newfound knowledge. He understood now how to navigate inside the library, and how to access its knowledge at will.
Stepping through the shimmering, large door, Azar entered inside the Origin Library. The transition from the ethereal plane to this ancient repository of knowledge was seamless, yet the shift in atmosphere was palpable. He felt an immediate sense of reverence and awe wash over him, the weight of countless ages pressing gently against his consciousness.
The library's interior was vast, seemingly infinite, with ceilings that soared high above and disappeared into a golden haze. Massive pillars of polished energy and shimmering light lined the grand hall, their surfaces inscribed with intricate runes that pulsed with a soft, azure glow. The air was filled with a calming scent, mingling with a faint, otherworldly fragrance that Azar couldn't quite place.
At the center of the grand hall stood an immense, circular table made of a single slab of translucent crystal. It glowed with an inner light, casting a soft, ethereal radiance that illuminated the surrounding area. The surface of the table was etched with an elaborate map of the universe, constantly shifting and updating as if alive, displaying the ebb and flow of cosmic energies.
Suspended above the table, a colossal chandelier of pure starlight hung in midair, its brilliance undiminished by the surrounding light. Thousands of tiny, twinkling spheres floated around it, forming constellations and celestial patterns that danced and shifted in a slow, mesmerizing ballet.
Rows upon rows of towering, glowing shelves stretched out in every direction, their heights reaching beyond what Azar could see. Each shelf was meticulously organized, but no one could touch the materials existing on them. Law was order, and by the law, information, no matter the shape and form existed and organized itself. The library as well as all that existed in it was alive, expanding itself continuously and without boundaries.
Azar noticed several figures moving quietly along the long corridors, their forms ghostly and insubstantial. Some of these beings were the Keepers of the Origin Library, ancient spirits tasked with maintaining the order and law of this sacred place. They glided silently, their robes trailing like mist, eyes glowing with the wisdom of millennia. Others, like Azar, were entities that came to expand their knowledge and understanding.

The Origin Library wasn't a place where anyone could search and learn anything, but a place where one had to know or at least had to have an idea about what they might want to learn. No one could go and grab a learning material by themselves, but all they had to do was think about what they wanted, and the library would bring them what they have asked for.
There were a few unwritten rules that those who didn't know had to learn them from others or on their own. One of these rules was that the best way to do something wasn't always the most appropriate. For example, if Azar had asked for the best way to cure Mohul's condition, he most certainly would have received the best way.
No matter if that was a high level potion written in the language of another world that he could never use because he didn't have access to the ingredients. By asking for the most appropriate way, Azar let the Origin Library itself to do the calculation and bring him the most suitable knowledge considering his current condition.
Waiting for a few seconds, Azar witnessed how a golden glowing scroll drifting across the corridor, approaching his position. Extending his illusory hand, Azar accepted the scroll, opening it and letting the information inside to pour into his mind.

Do the Mirha tribe really have these ingredients? Azar asked in his mind. But trusting the library calculation, he decided to not waste time any longer.
Satisfied and enlightened, Azar let go of the scroll that flew back in the direction where it came from. He then exited the library before thinking at the position where was previous to teleportation and arrived there in the blink of an eye.
Retracing his path, the astral world gradually giving way to the familiar surroundings of the physical world, Azar descended. Feeling the merging of his astral and physical forms, until he was once again lying on the floor, his eyes opened to the dim light of the room.
