The Fox house in Ballyavon is on the outskirts of the village: a new-build, three-story building with solar panels on the roof and a Hyundai SUV parked in the immaculate gravel drive outside.

"This is me," Claudia says with a wave of her hand. "Casa de Claudia. You want to come in until the rain dies down? My parents will be asleep, but I could make you a cup of tea."
