RWBY: Oscar the gamer

Chapter 75: Welcome Too Beacon

The airship touched down softly on the tarmac at Beacon Academy, its engines humming to a halt as the passengers aboard prepared to disembark. Oscar sat by the window, staring out at the familiar campus below, his thoughts a mixture of excitement and uncertainty. A month of suspension from Beacon had given him time to reflect, but now, as the break between semesters ended, it was time to return.

Oscar took a deep breath, inhaling the crisp Beacon air. The school had always felt like home, and yet this time, there was a certain tension that lingered in the back of his mind. As the airship doors opened, he made his way down the ramp, scanning the area for familiar faces.

Before he could even get a few steps in, he was tackled to the ground by a red blur.

"Found you!" Ruby's voice rang out, and Oscar found himself pinned underneath her, her signature grin spread wide across her face.

Blake quickly stepped forward, giving Ruby a soft shove to lift her off of Oscar. "Ruby, you're going to crush him," Blake said, her usual cool tone hiding the slight amusement in her voice.

Ruby grinned sheepishly and helped Oscar up. "Sorry! I couldn't help myself."

Oscar chuckled, brushing himself off. "It's fine. Honestly, it's good to see you guys again." He flashed a grin at Blake, who raised an eyebrow.

"How was your suspension?" she asked, her tone neutral, but there was a hint of curiosity in her voice.

Oscar rubbed the back of his neck, an awkward grin spreading across his face. "Good. Had some time to think... you know, about everything."

Yang, ever the optimist, slapped him on the back with a hearty laugh. "And with that, Team ROWBY is back together!" she exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear.

"Not really. Don't forget about your fifth member."

The group turned in unison to see a familiar figure approaching them, walking with her characteristic poise. Weiss Schnee, now fully dressed in her second-year Beacon uniform, approached with a smirk on her face. Beside her was Isaac, his usual confident demeanor plastered on his face.

"Weiss!" Ruby shouted, taking a few quick steps forward before pausing and giving a playful salute. "You're back too! Guess that means Team ROWBY is really complete now!"

Isaac glanced at the reunited group, his smile growing wider. "Congratulations on becoming second years. Glad to see all the members of Team ROWBY back together."

Weiss rolled her eyes with a smirk. "Don't get too comfortable. Just because you're back doesn't mean it'll be all smooth sailing from here."

Oscar smiled faintly, his gaze flickering between Weiss and Isaac. "So, are we ready to face what comes next?" he asked, his tone shifting slightly as the reality of their new roles as second-year students set in.

Yang cracked her knuckles playfully. "Bring it on. We're always ready for whatever's next."

Blake simply nodded in agreement, her expression as serious as ever.

Oscar couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation rise within him. The past month had been filled with uncertainty, but now, with his team reunited and a new semester ahead, he felt ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

As the team stood together, the air around them seemed to hum with energy. It was clear that this semester would be anything but ordinary.

"Looks like the whole part is back".

Everyone turned there head too see Crimson, his black hair flowing in the wind, he was still wearing his Normal outfit and not the Beacon Outfit, hugging his arm was another Member of Team C.R.I.M Rose, as her white rabbit hair were relax, as hee white hair was shining in the light, as her red eyes Looked at the group, as with then was Team CFVY, as Isaac went too IRise and Crimson Side.

Crimson looked at the group. "Hope you guy's aren't gonna get into trouble again, and then get another suspension".

Ruby scratched her head remembering the Roman Torchwick incident last year. "Hey we still did good".

Yang smacked her fist as she spoke. "Yeah we did... Even do dad grounded us the whole 1 month for it".

Oscar looked at Crimson, Isaac and Rose. "So Crimson where is your 4th member".

Crimson looks at Oscar his black eyes meet his. "If you guys haven't meet her yeat, you will soon".

Oscar then looked at Rose as he was going too speak. "So you must R-".

Weiss cut him off, as she spoke in his year, as she wishper into his year. "Don't I meet her last year when we were getting supplies for forever fall, and she talks with Dirty Jokes, by that I mean she says thing that can mean something inappropriate".

She said this loud enough that only someone like Oscar can hear, or if you were Faunus like Blake, Velvet and Rose.

Coco laughed as she looked at them. "Team ROWBY are second year and Team CFVY and CRIM are third years time fly's doesn't it".

Oscar smirked at Coco's remark, crossing his arms. "Yeah, time flies when you're constantly getting into life-threatening situations."

Blake rolled her eyes but chuckled. "At least we survived our first year."

Weiss huffed, flipping her hair. "Barely."

Crimson gave a small smirk, his black eyes scanning the group. "Well, let's hope this year won't be as chaotic… but knowing you guys, that's probably wishful thinking."

Ruby grinned, puffing her chest out proudly. "Hey! We only cause some chaos."

Yang smirked. "Yeah, controlled chaos."

Weiss pinched the bridge of her nose. "You two have very different definitions of control."

Before Ruby could retort, Rose stepped forward, her red eyes glinting with amusement. "Anyway, enough of the small talk. I wanna know—" she leaned toward Oscar, her expression playful. "—are the rumors true?"

Oscar blinked, confused. "Rumors?"

Rose smirked. "That you've been learning things during your suspension."

Oscar hesitated. He had been training—both in combat and other fields—but he wasn't about to spill everything just yet. "Depends on what you've heard."

Rose wiggled her eyebrows. "Oh, you know… whispers about a certain someone developing a knack for deception."

Weiss and Blake both instantly turned their gazes to Oscar. Yang just grinned.

Crimson raised an eyebrow but remained silent.

Oscar sighed. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Weiss narrowed her eyes. "Oscar…"

Before Weiss could press further, Isaac clapped his hands together. "Alright, alright, enough interrogation. You can grill him later. For now, how about we get settled back in?"

Ruby pouted. "But I wanna hear about what Oscar's been up to!"

Yang grinned. "Yeah, it's not every day he gets caught doing something interesting."

Oscar groaned. "I swear, you guys are impossible."

Rose laughed. "Fine, fine. I'll give you a break. But don't think you can keep secrets forever, Oscar~."

He sighed but gave a small smirk. If only they knew just how much I was actually hiding.

Isaac shook his head, amused. "Alright, let's head to the dorms. Welcome back to Beacon, Team ROWBY."

With that, the group made their way toward the academy, ready to face whatever this year had in store for them.

Blake and Oscar then saw a shadow, as they looked at eachother as Oscar spoke. "Anyway, I am gonna go... Somewhere".

He then used Shadow travel, and when they weren't paying attention Blake also disappeared, as they were now in a place or Beacon with zero camera, as the shadow landed as it was White mask, as he took of his mask.

Oscar looked at his Clone. "I have seen the News Clone, you did a good job being My Vigilante self".

Clone Oscar laughed as he spoke. "I mean I had help". He pointed at Blake. "She is a good help boss".

Oscar looked as he spoke. "Figures you were the white Cat".

Blake just looked as she rolled her eyes a bit as she spoken. "Someone had too make sure your shadow clone doesn't disappear after getting too much damage, plus you have no idea how many Items we had escape from Penny".

Oscar looked at her as he spoke. "So Penny is still in Vale trying too figure out who the white mask is, too bad I am not telling that it is me".

The Clone Oscar then spoke. "So um, Boss here is a note book of thing that happened while you were Gone, so I am done".

Oscar looked at his Clone as he spoke. "Yeah, Dismiss".

The Clone Oscar then turned into Shadow and went inside his shadow, as Oscar was really Thankful for [Shadow Clone] skill.

Blake crossed her arms, watching as the clone vanished. "You know, you're getting really good at this whole double life thing."

Oscar smirked, flipping through the notebook his clone had left behind. "Gotta keep things interesting."

Blake sighed. "You do realize Penny is getting obsessed with finding White Mask, right? She's running facial recognition scans on half of Vale."

Oscar chuckled, shaking his head. "Let her try. As long as I keep using the shadow clones and avoid cameras, she won't find anything. And even if she does…" He smirked, closing the notebook. "I'll just give her another mystery to chase."

Blake sighed but smirked slightly. "You're playing a dangerous game, Oscar."

Oscar shrugged. "That's half the fun."

Blake rolled her eyes but didn't argue. "So, what now? Back to playing the innocent student?"

Oscar tucked the notebook into his jacket. "For now. But if anything interesting happens, let me know."

Blake nodded. "Fine. Just don't get caught."

With that, they both disappeared into the shadows once again, returning to Beacon like nothing had happened.

Oscar and Blake then started too walk as he looked at her. "So wanna who me your Vigilantly outfit once we are alone".

Blake then blushed as she spoke. "Oh um, I didn't know you were into that".

Oscar released the doubling meaning "no I didn't mean it like that".

Blake smirked, crossing her arms. "Oh? Then how did you mean it?"

Oscar groaned, rubbing his forehead. "I meant—I just wanted to see what kind of gear you put together for the whole White Cat thing! You know, since we're working together?"

Blake chuckled, still enjoying his embarrassment. "Mhm, sure, sure. I'll consider it."

Oscar sighed. "You're never gonna let this go, are you?"

Blake grinned. "Nope."

They kept walking, the teasing tension fading into a comfortable silence. But in the back of Oscar's mind, he couldn't help but wonder—just what kind of outfit did she put together?

After while they got back with the group, as the rest of Team ROWBY went too there dorm rooms they got a notice on the scroll that's Beacon has a new teacher as her name was "Cinder".

Ruby looked a bit confused. "Cinder, does that ring a bell for anyone".

Blake then spoke as well. "No"

Yang then spoke. "Zero".

Weiss then thought for a bit. "Nun".

Oscar then Titled his head, as he had just finished cooked for team. "Nope".
