Running a Fantasy Fertility Clinic

Chapter : Prologue

When did everything change?

It's been five years since the incident occurred.

A light extinguished from his life, five long colorless years before something changed in his life.

Was it a calling? Was the universe trying to comfort the man? Or was it simply fate toying around with his life?

The man had received a letter. An inheritance of sorts. From who? The letter never specified. However, what he inherited resonated with something deep within him, yanking his unwilling soul out of remorse and depression.

A simple shop, adorned with warm earthy colors, furnished with a minimalistic/cozy vibe. Specially designed to be as welcoming as possible, because the subject of this shop is something severely personal. Conception, to have the ability to cultivate life; Conception, the highly intimate act of creating life and joy; Pediatrics, the healer of children; and Death, the other half of life.

As he explored the shop he noticed that everything had some relation to conception and pediatrics. A subject area that he maniacally obsessed over ever since the incident. After studying everything available to him, he still felt like something was missing. Until he discovered a series of books in the shop written in an unknown language.

As he read through the letter again, it mentioned that he would have to open the shop and help whoever walked through the doors. The books will reveal their secrets in time.

For now, he will just have to wait for the first person to walk through those doors.
