Chapter 14: The First Blood
As the adventurers gathered at the entrance of the dungeon, a nervous energy crackled in the air. One particular adventurer, a young man with a shock of brightly colored hair and a rebellious streak, decided to make a spectacle of himself. He began to flirt with the female adventurers, his attempts at charm falling flat as he was met with icy glares and the occasional well-placed kick from their male companions.
Finally, his attention turned to Alpha. He approached her, a cocky grin on his face. However, upon closer inspection of her disguised appearance, his smile faltered. He quickly averted his gaze, seemingly unimpressed, and moved on to his next target.
Alpha, observing his reaction, a rare flicker of amusement crossed her usually impassive features. "It seems my disguise is effective," she commented, her voice devoid of emotion. "If I had chosen a more conventional appearance, he might have been more persistent."
Asmodeus chuckled. "Indeed. It seems your ugly appearance has its advantages."
That asshole looked at my women with lustful eyes , thanks to her ugly disguise , he back out ,if he did persisted her , i would have killed him on this spot.
"Indeed," Alpha agreed.
"I have a feeling this 'punk' and his party may not be as harmless as they seem but, We should keep a close eye on them."
With that, they prepared to enter the dungeon. Asmodeus, his eyes gleaming with anticipation, addressed his companions. "Let us move swiftly. The deeper we delve, the greater the competition."
Lucifer, his bow drawn, nodded. "Let's go."
Alpha, her senses alert, moved with a silent grace, her movements fluid and precise.
As they entered the dungeon, they noticed a multitude of footprints leading deeper into the darkness.
"It seems we are not the first to arrive," Asmodeus observed.
"We need to be quick," Lucifer urged.
"The best treasures will likely be claimed by those who arrive first."
"Move with speed and caution," Asmodeus commanded. "We will not be outmaneuvered."
And so, with a burst of speed, they plunged into the depths of the dungeon.
As they delved deeper into the dungeon, the air grew heavy and the silence more profound. The ground beneath their feet was littered with the remains of fallen goblins and orcs, a grim testament to the fierce battles that had already taken place.
Suddenly, the sound of a fierce struggle echoed through the cavern. Asmodeus, his senses heightened, led the way towards the source of the commotion.
They burst into a large cavern, witnessing a chaotic battle. A group of adventurers, outnumbered and outmatched, were fighting valiantly against a horde of goblins and orcs.
Asmodeus, saw an opportunity. "Let's join the fray!" he declared.
Lucifer, his bow drawn, unleashed a volley of arrows, each finding its mark with chilling accuracy. The goblins and orcs, caught off guard by the sudden onslaught, staggered back.
Asmodeus, with a roar, charged into the fray. His fists, clad in the Elemental Gauntlets, moved with blinding speed, a whirlwind of fire and ice raining down upon the surprised creatures. Goblins were incinerated, while orcs were frozen solid before shattering into a thousand pieces.
Alpha, ever vigilant, moved amongst the combatants, her hands glowing with an ethereal light. She healed the wounded, strengthened the weary, and provided a shield of divine protection against the enemy onslaught.
The tide of battle quickly turned. The outnumbered adventurers, bolstered by the arrival of Asmodeus, Lucifer, and Alpha, began to push back against the horde. The goblins and orcs, overwhelmed by the sheer power of their attackers, began to falter.
Asmodeus, feeling a surge of power, unleashed a devastating combo, his fists a blur of motion. Fire, ice, and lightning erupted from his gauntlets, creating a whirlwind of destruction that decimated the remaining goblins and orcs.
With the battle won, the surviving adventurers turned to Asmodeus, Lucifer, and Alpha, their faces etched with gratitude. "Thank you," they exclaimed, "You saved our lives!"
Asmodeus, with a modest shrug, replied,
"It was nothing. We simply enjoy a good fight."
Lucifer, ever the charmer, smiled. "Consider it a favor well-rendered."
Alpha, remaining silent, continued to survey the battlefield, her gaze assessing the situation.
As they delved deeper into the dungeon, they encountered a disturbing sight. A small group of adventurers, their faces contorted with greed, were looting the bodies of fallen adventurers. Among them was the "punk" they had encountered earlier, his eyes gleaming with avarice.
Suddenly ,Asmodeus unleashed a swift and powerful attack. With a flick of his wrist, he combined the power of water and thunder, a devastating blow that struck the punk squarely on the head. The punk crumpled to the ground, dead.
Serves you right for looking lustfully at my woman.let's kill his teammates too, wait a minute , i just killed a human but he is trash anyways but why didn't i feel guilt of committing such crime. It's like i have human emotions but i can't feel guilt/shame/empathy like a psychopath.
Maybe becoming a incubus demon made me into a literal demon , i thought i only got the powers and race , i didn't thought i would be affected by it mentally too. Well it's a convent too , now i can kill anyone without remorse.
The remaining members of the group, stunned by the sudden attack, drew their weapons. However, before they could retaliate, a barrage of elemental arrows rained down upon them. Lucifer, with deadly accuracy, had unleashed a volley of fire and ice arrows, felling two of the adventurers instantly.
The remaining two, panic-stricken, attempted to flee. But Alpha, anticipating their escape, raised her shield, unleashing a powerful shock wave that sent the two adventurers flying backwards. They collided with Asmodeus, who, with a swift motion, unleashed a devastating combo of fire and ice, finishing them off.
The cavern fell silent. The only sound was the echoing thud of fallen bodies. Asmodeus, his eyes gleaming with a cold fury, surveyed the scene.
As they delved deeper into the dungeon, they encountered a series of challenges: treacherous traps, cunningly concealed ambushes, and a variety of monstrous adversaries, from hulking ogres to swarms of venomous spiders.
Asmodeus, with his mastery of the elements, proved to be a formidable opponent, while Lucifer's arrows rained down with deadly accuracy. Alpha, ever vigilant, provided unwavering support, her healing magic keeping their wounds to a minimum.
