'But I have to say this one looks the best,' he commented.

The options range and choices were humongous, making it more customizable based on preferences, like they claimed, which exceeded his expectations.

It was as if they analyzed and gathered data on all possible combinations regarding the creation of a .

This alone proved to him that whoever made this program has put a lot of effort and research into making it.

Whether all this turned out to be real or not has no importance to him at that moment.

All he wished for was to see how far they had gone in building this program.

Made him, the corners of his mouth rose into a smile hadn't had in ages.

It was his dream to escape this boring life where things only go in one particular order,

where people's lives were merely the results of following the rules of society and confining themselves into boxes, walking aimlessly toward an impeded doom…

He dreaded the thought of such a reality and wished all this was just an illusion and that he could free himself from this world's shackles.

While reading the available, Daichi kept comparing each one to the genres and settings he was already used to seeing, and then he came to a painful conclusion.

All have been following the same route and settings, only slightly altering the looks, designs, and lore to make it more appealing to the masses.

Nevertheless, they all ended up looking the same. At least to him.

If he could really create his dreamed with those , then it might as well be one where he could have the best possible experience.

Like the ones engraved in his mind, the ones that shaped his imagination since childhood.

The few ones that manage to blend old and new, medieval and contemporary, traditional and modern with new, innovative technologies and concepts that could have only existed in such particular settings…

Something that could only be done in a where laws and concepts were ever-changing, bringing new possibilities to society, evolving without being shackled by any side of the spectrum.
