Rimuru : Journey with Straw Hat

Chapter 3: Ch 3 : Punk Hazard

The ship creaked gently as it sailed into the harbor of Punk Hazard, the air thick with a mix of smoke and the faint scent of sulfur. Rimuru Tempest, a slime transformed into a humanoid form, gazed at the desolate island, his curiosity piqued. Beside him stood the Straw Hat Pirates, their expressions a mix of excitement and wariness.

NAMI look at her map and she says it's the land of 2 seasons " Punk Hazard" .

"Punk Hazard, huh? This place looks like it's seen better days," Luffy remarked, his eyes sparkling with the thrill of adventure. "I wonder what kind of food they have here!"

Nami rolled her eyes but couldn't help but chuckle. "Luffy, I think we might have bigger problems than food here."

Rimuru adjusted his cloak, his blue slime form shimmering slightly under the bright sky. "I'm sensing a lot of unusual magical energy here. It feels chaotic but intriguing. We should be careful."

Zoro, leaning against the ship's railing, grunted in agreement. "Yeah, let's keep our guard up. I've heard rumors about this place."

As they disembarked, the group took note of their surroundings. The island was divided into two distinct sections:

one half was engulfed in flames, while the other was encased in ice.

It was a sight to behold, a stark contrast that left Rimuru pondering its origins.

"Let's split up and gather some information," suggested Robin, her eyes scanning the area for any signs of life-or danger. "We need to figure out what's going on here."

"Good idea," Luffy said, already bouncing on his toes. "Rimuru, you should come with me!"

"Alright, but let's stick together," Rimuru replied, following Luffy as they ventured towards the fiery side of the island.

As they traversed the rugged terrain, the heat grew intense, and the ground beneath them crackled with flames. Rimuru activated his "Predator" skill, allowing him to absorb a small amount of fire, which provided him with an interesting insight into the elemental magic at play. All through rimuru think this is an unlimited skill attack that's cause this much damage .

"Wow, you can do that?" Luffy exclaimed, eyes wide with awe. "That's so cool!"

"It's just a little trick," Rimuru said modestly, though he enjoyed the attention. "But I can also sense the presence of creatures nearby. We should be cautious."

Suddenly, a loud roar echoed through the air, making both of them freeze. From the flames emerged a massive creature-a dragon-like figure, its scales glistening with heat. Rimuru's instincts kicked in as he prepared to defend himself and Luffy.

"Stay back, Luffy!" Rimuru shouted, readying himself for a potential fight.

However, Luffy's face lit up with excitement. "Awesome! A dragon! Let's fight it!"

Before Rimuru could argue, Luffy charged forward, fists clenched and ready for action. "Gomu Gomu no-!"

Rimuru sighed but followed Luffy, his own magic ready to assist. The dragon roared again, flames spewing from its mouth as it lunged at Luffy. With a swift movement, Rimuru activated "Water Manipulation," creating a wall of water to absorb the flames.

"Nice save!" Luffy shouted, impressed. He used the moment to launch his attack. "Gomu Gomu no Pistol!"

The dragon was caught off guard by Luffy's rubbery punch, staggering back. Rimuru took the opportunity to assess the creature's weaknesses, noting the areas where the flames flickered less fiercely.

"Luffy, aim for its underbelly! It looks vulnerable there!" Rimuru called out.

"Got it!" Luffy responded, determination shining in his eyes. He leaped high into the air, preparing for a powerful strike.

As Rimuru conjured more water to keep the dragon at bay, Luffy landed a direct hit. The creature roared in pain, thrashing wildly. Rimuru felt the energy shift; this was their chance to end the fight.

"Let's finish this!" Rimuru declared, channeling his magic. "Predator!"

With a swift motion, he absorbed a part of the dragon's energy, weakening it significantly. Luffy seized the moment, delivering a flurry of punches that sent the dragon crashing to the ground.

"Yeah! We did it!" Luffy cheered, jumping up and down with excitement. Rimuru couldn't help but smile at his enthusiasm.

"Let's see what we can find on this dragon, it's kinda reminds of my old best friend" Rimuru suggested, intrigued by the creature's magical properties. He began to absorb the residual energy, gaining insights into the elemental magic that had empowered it.

As they examined the fallen dragon, Rimuru noticed a glimmering crystal embedded in its chest. "This must be the source of its power," he said, carefully extracting it. "It might be useful for us later."

Just then, a loud commotion erupted from the icy side of the island. The sound of clashing metal and shouting voices reached their ears. "Sounds like trouble!" Luffy exclaimed, his eyes sparkling again with excitement.

"Let's check it out!" Rimuru agreed, pocketing the crystal as they rushed toward the source of the noise.

As they approached, they found a group of familiar faces: the Straw Hats had regrouped, surrounded by a band of strange, menacing figures. The icy landscape was littered with weapons and debris, and the tension in the air was palpable.

"Rimuru! Luffy!" Nami called out, relief flooding her voice. "We could use some help here!"

The figures were clad in dark armor, their eyes glowing with a chilling intensity. "You're intruding on our territory!" one of them snarled, brandishing a sword. "You'll pay for your mistake!"

"Not if we have anything to say about it!" Luffy shouted, stepping forward with a confident grin.

Rimuru assessed their opponents, sensing a dark magical energy radiating from them. "They seem to be using some kind of ice magic," he noted. "We should be careful."

"Let's show them what we've got!" Luffy exclaimed, charging forward once again.

"Wait, Luffy!" Rimuru called, but it was too late. Luffy had already sprung into action, fists ready to unleash his signature attacks. Rimuru sighed but quickly followed, ready to support him.

As Luffy engaged the nearest foe, Rimuru activated his "Magic Sense," allowing him to track the movements of all the adversaries. He quickly identified their leader, a tall figure wielding an icy scythe.

"Luffy, focus on the one with the scythe! I'll handle the others!" Rimuru shouted.

"Got it!" Luffy replied, launching himself into the air.

While Luffy kept the leader occupied, Rimuru unleashed a barrage of water spells, freezing several of the enemies in place. His magic swirled around him, forming icy projectiles that struck true. The opponents began to falter, their confidence shaken by the unexpected resistance.

"Let's finish this!" Rimuru shouted, summoning more energy. "Hydro Blast!"

A powerful wave of water surged forward, crashing into the remaining foes and sending them sprawling. Rimuru felt the surge of magic within him, invigorated by the thrill of battle.

Meanwhile, Luffy had finally taken down the scythe-wielding leader, delivering a powerful punch that echoed across the icy landscape. "That was fun!" he laughed, wiping his forehead. "Let's see what they were guarding!"

As they regrouped with their crew, Rimuru's attention was drawn to a nearby building, its entrance marked with strange symbols. "This place seems important. We should investigate," he suggested.

The crew nodded in agreement, curiosity piqued. As they made their way toward the building, Rimuru couldn't shake the feeling that they were on the brink of uncovering something significant about Punk Hazard-and perhaps about themselves.

Inside, they found remnants of experiments and strange machinery, remnants of the island's dark past. "It looks like someone has been conducting some serious research here," Robin observed, her voice a mix of awe and concern.

Rimuru's eyes fell upon a series of documents scattered across a table. "These notes... they're discussing the manipulation of elemental magic. It seems like someone has been trying to control the powers of this island."

"Sounds like a bad idea," Nami said, glancing at the scattered papers. "No wonder this place is such a mess."

Suddenly, a loud crash echoed from deeper within the building, causing everyone to tense. "What was that?" Zoro asked, drawing his swords.

"Let's find out!" Luffy said, his adventurous spirit ignited. With Rimuru leading the way, they ventured deeper into the building, ready to face whatever lay ahead.

As they moved through the dimly lit corridors, Rimuru felt a surge of anticipation. Whatever challenges awaited them, he knew they would face them together as a team. The Straw Hats and Rimuru Tempest were about to uncover the secrets of Punk Hazard-and perhaps forge flames and ice.

Suggestions:

¶ If anyone is thinking about adding Ciel or the Great Sage, I'm not planning to include her. Adding her would take away from the spirit of adventure for the other characters, as they need to face danger on their own. However, if you all really want her included, feel free to comment. >

¶ This is Rimuru's adventure in a new world, so he's relatively weak here. I would say he and Luffy are almost equally matched.

¶ Only think Rimuru has an advantage is he just use any magic.

( sorry guy's I know I am not skill writer but it's also awkward for me to add a strong character who can destroy everything in one go. That's why I kinda create it like this)
